  • This was his third meeting, and yes he was keeping count. He felt that he was doing better as a leader but all the disasters and a looming threat of a possibly meteor strike was weighing on him. He had yet to choose someone to fight in something that may or may not yield anything and a dry sigh left him. He made his way to the beach, kicking away some dead fish that still lingered around before he settled down. His eyes looked at his own paws, gaze shifting over the wet sands beneath him. Alright, time to get everyone together and maybe have a discussion with everyone on what to do about the camp and the caverns. Do promotions and all of that. He could do this. "Alright, everyone gather on the beach for a meeting!"

  • Ah, it was time for another meeting, huh? The Gejanju would turn up at Desmond's call, looking wary. Their territory was a mess, but RiverClan was making a quick comeback. They were already rebuilding and clearing the debris the best they could. This had been a rough week for RiverClan but Heatherpaw could believe they've been through worse before. The creature would make himself present on the beach, his singular lavender gaze focused on Desmond as he settled onto a flat stone that protruded from the wet sand.

  • && I found in you, what was lost in me !

It was another meeting, to be honnest, Obscuro had been wondering where the next meeting was going to be held, considering both camps were destroyed. There was a lot that needed to be discussed towards the clan as well, things Obscuro ahd been interested in bringing up at the next meeting. She sat down close to the group.

  • This would be Shining's first meeting at Riverclan. He had joined a few days ago, and so far had taken a liking to the place. Even if most of the territory was littered with the destruction from the hurricane. The group was filled with nice and friendly people. Not blood-thirsty, war-seeking savages that he tended to dislike. At the call for a meeting, the winged feline made his way onto the beach. There was still a lot of cleanup to do. But with the whole clan helping, it would get back to normal in no time.

  • lani was glad she had never been around for the hurricane, though she was still terribly sorry for those who had lost their homes, and even lives in the storm. limping up to the group and shifting her body (she was still not used to the bandages), the puppy listened for any announcements from her leader.

  • Scratching a particularly nasty welt upon their shoulder, the rust-colored coyote gnashed their teeth as they prowled over; a meeting interested them only slightly, but they supposed attending would be best. If only to stay updated on this Clan, to make sure they toed the line rather than accidentally leaping right over what RiverClan would allow from their button-pushing self.

  • This would be Val's first meeting. He was aware of his promotion last meeting after someone had notified him of it and the fact that he was supposed to attend these gatherings. He didn't quite understand it, though. But, abandoning his game of digging up shells only to bury them again for whatever reason, he padded closer to the group, sitting with his family.

  • They had been waiting long enough and he was a bit upset at himself for dragging it out this long. Thus the male would give himself a light shake before he started off with the things that mattered. The fact that he had demotions upset him a bit but he would struggle with that later on. "Alright, demotions are as followed Lefou and Starrynight. I haven't seen either of them in a while but if they choose to show up they may have their positions back after some effort is put in. Activity warning to Sasha and Luke. I have a shoutout to Shininglight. I want Heatherpaw to step up to Minnow. I want Anakin to step up to Second Mate and I want Obscuro to step up to First mate as my deputy." These were small shifts in the rankings but at least there was something to show he was watching others and what they were involved with around camp. The more people actively contributed and came up with ideas the more they would most likely get noticed around here and by himself. He then looked down at his paws before he cleared his throat a bit.

"So we got an invite about...the End Game. They want us to send a champion to some tournament to win some kind of immunity from meteors. We'd talked about it and Obscuro if you are sure about it then....I suppose you can go but please if you can report back to me so I know you are alright." he didn't feel safe with just letting her go, especially if they will be fighting against allies. That was the worst possibility and he sighed before flicking his stub of a tail for a moment, debating on what to say. "The Hurricane did a number on us but we are recovering and adding additions to the territory. A bridge for starters that will connect us and give us better access to the mainland. The beach is looking better now that most of the debris has been cleaned off it and we might have to think about shifting where our camp is. The Caverns just aren't safe but I'll be holding a sort of contest for going out to explore the mainland and see where a more suitable campsite will me." It would be like one of those one shot competitions and he shrugged his shoulders a bit before he barreled on through with the next topic. Events. He was hosting a event rally and he hoped to get more people coming up with ideas. "We will be having a potluck with Hawkclan, sort of like a midnight party held on the beach. I also need someone to host weekly tasks for this week if anyone is up for it. I think that is all and oh, wait. Welcome to all of the new joiners that have arrived in Riverclan over the past week! We are happy to have you guys here. Now, meeting is dismissed."

Anakin bowed his head to the Doberman in respect. Windclan trailed back to his mind, memories of fighting his way to the top and then fighting with Henry.

    But now, he was greatful.

    "Thank you, Desmond."

  • WHEN I'M DONE ONLY THING THAT REMAINS

IS A TOMBSTONE ETCHED WITH MY NAME

Obscuro watched as other's started to gather with a watchful glance. Her eyes trained on the grouwing group, even as the doberman began to talk. Her eyes widened momentarily as she heard her name. First made... She wanted to laugh, she wanted to vehemently deny it her right the half of her stay thus far and she had been plotting it's demise. Now, she was being sent off to fight someone she had forsaken long ago. Now she was defending the very home she created. Her head tilted off to the side and a smile was on her face was completly off-putting. But the look in her eyes was a greatful one. "I won't let you down Desmond. This place is my home now."

  • Oh, yay, they had a little heroic volunteer for the End Games bullshit. Good thing, too, since Corruptedvirtue was far too selfish to consider potentially sacrificing themselves for anyone besides their personal skin or Desmond. That, and they were weak as hell at present - they were pretty fucking glad they chose to live in this pro-clan during the later days of their starvation. Plenty of people willing to do the hard shit, but without the drawback of anti-clan bullshit.

"I'll do the tasks, if you'd like," they spoke with a slight snort. Hey, team ex-anti over here this week; if Obscuro could play the hero, the Corruptedvirtue could definitely sit on their ass and bark orders all day.

  • The demotions were quick and painless like ripping off a band-aid but he did feel bad for the ones who had gotten demoted. He didn't know of Starrynight, but he certainly did know Lefou. He hadn't seen the other around in a long time, but Hea was sure that he'd eventually come back with Gaston in toe. He would nod his head slightly at that before picking his head up to listen to Desmond's further announcements. There were warnings to Sasha and Luke - they were both people whom he didn't know of, though he still hoped that they would make a comeback soon enough. A shoutout to Shininglight - good for him! - and a promotion for Heatherpaw to Minnow. Oh, wait, he was Heatherpaw.

The Gejanju blinked, definitely not expecting a promotion from Desmond. He sat there, mouth agape. Desmond continued speaking but the Misfortune boy was astonished. He was... promoted? Oh gosh... How about that? He shook his head, trying to rid himself of his initial shock to focus on the rest of his leader's promotions. Of course, he was still reeling, but he managed to remain attentive. Anakin and Obscuro were both promoted to Second Mate and First Mate respectively. Whoa! Obby was their Deputy now. He felt happy for the both of them for making it so high in the hierarchy. Heatherpaw himself didn't think he'd climb the ranks like the others would - hell, he didn't even think he deserved to be a Minnow - but he certainly would try to be the best he could be!

Now here came something that Heatherpaw hadn't heard about. The End Game? What was that? It sounded ominous and Heather didn't really like it. Whatever it was, it seemed that Obscuro was going to participate in it. From the sound of it, it sounded dangerous. He knew that Obscuro was plenty capable though and that she would handle everything just fine. Next was the news about the hurricane that had torn through their territory. They were recovering and doing well to come back from the destruction hurricane had brought upon them. They would also have to relocate since the Caverns were now deemed too dangerous to remain in. Right. Heatherpaw would try and contribute to discovering a new place for them to stay. He owed RiverClan that much. He had decided that he stay here. Kaleidoscope was nowhere to be found and it was becoming clear to him that she might not be coming back after all. And finally a potluck with HawkClan. Potluck? What was a potluck? Just as he asked himself those questions, Desmond easily answered it. A midnight party on the beach? Whoa... that sounded nice to be honest. He wasn't sure if he'd attend since he was bad at socializing as it was but he would try to make an appearance.

"Uhm... C-Could I host this week's weekly tasks, Desmond sir?" Heatherpaw would find himself volunteering. Doing weekly tasks sounded like fun to him... and he thought it might help him get out of his shell. Hoh boy. Heatherpaw would then dip his head slightly. "And, ah, th-thank you... Desmond, for the p-promotion. I'll try my best, I pro-promise." After the meeting was dismissed, he remained in his seat. After all, he had volunteered himself to the weekly tasks.

  • So the meetings here were a bit different than what the feline had become used to in Hawkclan. Littlestar addressed things in a slightly different order, in her usual mannerisms. But as long as Desmond presented the news clearly, well, he didn't mind. Demotions were first- Shining didn't know or recognize their names. Hopefully they would decide to come back soon- someone probably missed them. An activity warning to two others. A shoutout. And then a few promotions-

Wait a second. Was he the one receiving the shoutout? The winged tom had almost missed his name being said as Desmond had quickly carried on with the other news. To some, being noticed for their efforts filled them with pride. For Shining, he didn't care if his work went unnoticed in the background. Receiving attention had never been his desire, and it hopefully never would be. Yet the feline still smiled quietly, a look of appreciation for the shoutout from Desmond.

'End Game'. The look of appreciation seemed to fade away at the mention of the End Game, and the tournament that came along with it. Shining obviously showed signs of deep thought. His facial expression didn't change, even through the mention of a potluck with Hawkclan.

  • ♥ ― Had she known he needed someone to fight, she would have offered. After all, it was what she did for a living. In return, she would ask him only to let her shelter here for ever. Simple request, no? The girl was lounging on top of a rotting tree, blown in by the storm, she guessed. The call made her head lift and she looked him over. Silver eyes curious and yet calm. What could this male need now? Was he the leader here and she hadn't known? That was rather surprising for her. Yet, he seemed to know what he was doing.

So, she would listen to him talk without moving.
