  • The Walmart baby, that's what many knew 7 year old Ai as. A while back young Ai had been abandoned at the store and taken in by one of the store's mangers, Freya. She grew up among the rustle and bustle of the store. Which now had gone quiet since the recent passing of her mother. Now Ai was tossed around person to person, normally staying with the store owner Toboa or her 'father' Nikolas. Everyone here still felt like a family. Her family.

Today though Ai was in the toy section, running around with a ball she had taken from the selling stand. She bounced it around bored of just sitting and waiting in the store. She though, perhaps didn't see it coming as the ball bounced into the center isle destroying the display that had recently been set up. Ai sweat hearing and npc worker yell and run off to get Toboa. ``This won't be good..`` Quickly though Ai just tried to fix her mistake and repair everything. Failing to do it correctly, leading to a misshapen looking display.

  • Lorcan scowled, black hoodie covering him in case he needed to go outside for the carts.

Shooting an angry glance at the child, he started correcting the display.

  • Ai nervously laughed a bit rubbing her arm. The small Irish girl looked back up to her 'friend' blush easy to see among the freckles covering her face. Pale blue eyes looked down to the ground under her. ``Sorry Mister Lucan..`` She apologized. She rubbed her arm with a small frown. It wasn't her fault the ball hit the stupid thing! It was in her way anyways..

    OOC:

IC: Inaudible phrases left his mouth, eyes hardened as the display cart actually broke under the wieght, causing everything to just topple to the floor yet again.

Increasingly irate, his hands clenching into fists, he really wanted to choke someone right now, but it'd get him fired...

Sorry? Sorry? Sorry was not going to cut it! He wanted to scream at her for even ruining the good day he had been having.

  • ★ ★ ★ -- And that was rather distressing.

Taboa had been tidying her office when she heard a monumental 'crash,' a series of things clattering to the floor and a muttered apology to Lucan. It was at this point that Taboa inwardly cringed. Oh lord, what would she have to deal with next? Her questions would be answered, however, when a worker ran to her office with the reports of a destroyed center display.

The tall lady grimaced, stepped out of her office, making away across the isles to where the wreck had been situated. It took only a moment of her brightly colored irises to flicker over the destroyed decorations. There were a few customers here and there, casting back quiet looks and glances and grimaces alike. The pale lady let a sigh whistle from her mouth. Among the destroyed display was a very pissed Lorcan, and at that moment, Taboa became ever so slightly concerned for the well-being of anyone within a ten mile radius.

"I'll call someone to come pick this up." Taboa said, beckoning over another worker and requesting for more help. Taboa carefully stepped over to pick the main frame up, though the many decorations and objects within the display lay askew.

"Now how did this happen?" Taboa clucked her tongue, though she had a feeling she already knew the answer. It wasn't hard to guess; a guilty-looking Ai, a ball laying among the decorations. Though Taboa couldn't really blame the child. Children would always be children, young and clumsy (Wisteria wasn't like this though. Maybe because he was older than her? Shucks, she sucked with children).

  • Ai looked to the ground shamefully, She had felt horrible. Lucan's anger didn't make her feel any better, though her emotions visibly shifted. Her more defensive and combat personality took a step in the spotlight, it wasn't much of a secret to those working within the store for a while. Ai wasn't a normal kid, she never was really. A heavy Irish accent exited her throat as she explained the situation. ``I was playin' with th' ball and it went rollin' into the display thingy.`` She sighed looking down, Even Xia was known to be honest and as kind as Ai, but aggression built up within her. Xia was seemingly more the emotions of the trio of children.

  • ▹ Caledon rarely made it to work on time, in fact the only reason he held such a shitty job was to avoid questions from the IRS. In fact. Caledon was a drug dealer,in the employee parking lot, among the hondas, Toyota, and beat up pickups sit his brand new Corvette Stingray. 'The hell you get money like that from Cal?' people would ask. 'Door greeter' he would say quite sarcastically.

Walking through the employee entrance, like a boss. His sparkly glasses caught the dim lights from above. Stopping as he nearly tripped over Lorcan's creation. Taboa seemed quite pissed and Ai was obviously guilty. "Ha, I aint picking that shit up" he skipped quite sarcastically over the display debris.

  • Lorcan fists clenched even harder as Caledon made his comment, his nails digging hard enough into his palms to draw blood.

If Taboa wasn't here, he would have thrown himself at the other.
