  • "Nononono, you don't understand." She waved her hands trying to gain some sense of anything going on."I I was just skateboarding. I couldntsleep. Ididn'tdothis.thisisn'tpossible.thisisn'trealright?!thisisall a dream right?!" She began to speak frantically, now breaking down in denial of this whole event, her breathing quickened, she didn't like how he was appoarching her. SHe didn't know why she didn't like it, it was just a fact that she didn't like it. She didn't trust what he was saying even if it was the truth. She didn't know what could be the truth. Her world was spinning out of control and she didn't know where the off switch was to save her. Her mind was coming back in full swing, only human emotions here no vampiric instincts. She covered her face with her arms, starting to completely freak out and have what seemed like a panic attack. This rarely happened, why is this happening, her mind was racing and she couldn't stop it. Who was this guy? WHy is she even here? WHat is going on? Is it her fault? Is this because of those weird people some time ago? She tried calming herself down but whatever she tried to think about doing didn't seem to be effective in anyway.

  • "Hey, calm down. Look, I know this is all so weird since you just drank the blood of a rabbit but we're ahead of that. Okay, you want a simple answer? You're a vampire." That probably wasn't a really good thing to say. Well, what else was he supposed to say? It's not like he could lie. Well, maybe he could've but how? The girl just drank blood for the first time and he didn't think he could come up with a lie for what had happened. "Just, you need to calm down, please calm down." He knew telling her to calm down probably wouldn't help but it helped him. Nathaniel started to take 2 steps forward again and quickly stopped. Once again, he didn't want to scare her away.

  • gShe was trying her hardest to calm, there wasn't a doubt about it. Forcing herself to sit down until she could get back into her head completely. Glancing up at Nate, "why did this happen? I didn't ask for this" she couldn't understand and didn't want to believe his words. They sounded muffled now, only able to pick up on a few of them here or there.

  • "Well, I just have one question. Did you get bit by anyone?" He wanted to make sure that this was the case. Nate knew that he sounded completely fine with everything that was happening. Well, that was because he was. He was fine with everything that was happening and had dealt with a lot of other supernatural creatures. However, he had never dealt with any newly turned ones. Thinking of something else to say, he got an idea. He didn't know if it would help her but it was worth a try. Nathaniel turned around to a random patch of grass and made a small flower grow out of the ground. He plucked it out of the ground and knelt down in front of her with the flower in his hand. "Look, I got some weird stuff happening with me as well. You'll get used to it, trust me." He wasn't too sure about this and was kind of regretting his decisions but if he let her go off on her own who knows what kind of trouble she could cause?

  • Jamie looked at him and wiped her face, "did someone bite me? I mean not todday." She started to tell him not sure what he would think if she said that that happened. It felt personal. Looking at the flowoer in his hand she nodded slightly, "..okay"

(slowly just woke up lowish muse)

  • Nathaniel nodded. Alright, so not today. Probably either within this month or the last month then. He had to do something. There was no way he was just gonna leave her here. Nathaniel stood up, the flower bursting into a quick flame before turning into ashes which fell out of his hand. The ashes flew away in the small breeze. "Alright, do you think you could go home?"

  • She quickly shook her head in a no, "I don't want to hurt my family.I odn't knwo how to control this and jsut be normal anymorre" She told him, her gaze following the ashes as they disappeared in the wind then ti went back to him staying there.

  • Nathaniel quietly started talking to himself but soon stopped. He had to do something. With a huff of defeat, he nodded his head. "Alright, if you can't go to your own home then I guess I'll have to take you to mine." It wasn't an idea he was quite fond of but it's not like he had any other ideas. However, he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do after that. His home wasn't even that big. In fact, it wasn't even a house that he lived in. It was just a medium-sized apartment that could probably fit 4 or 5 people, max. "Come on, we better get going, it's about 10 minutes from where we are."

  • Hey dude I'm in the hospital rn. I'll try to respond when I get home. Sorry this week may be very lax for me. I was hit by a car on my way home from work. I'm okay. I'm concussed but yeah. Just sorry

  • Jamie got up cautiously behind him, wuickly grabbing her skateboard from whereever it had ended up and chased after him. "You're not going to kill me are ypu? I feel like this is a scene out of a horror movie.." She asked honestly but it was a semifearful comment. Most days she wouldn't blindly follow a man into the night but what the hell.

  • (Glad you're doing okay!)

Nate couldn't help but smile at her question. It was an understandable question. Not a lot of people just accept to follow some strange man in the middle of the night to his home. "I'm not and even if I would I probably would have done it now. I just want to help you." He still wasn't so sure on how he was supposed to help her. Well, he could just teach her everything about being a vampire and try to answer her questions. After all, he has dealt with vampires quite a bit. "You never told me your name because you were freaking out. Mind telling me now?"

  • Yeah! Me too! Igot out yesterday but now i have whiplash, concussion, sprained ankle and then minor bumps and scrapes. sooo bluhhhh but i am on basically bed rest so all i am doing is being on thi s site)

Jamie nodded in agreement since that did make some sense as to why he hadm't killed her yet but she was still on her toes and stuff. " Uhh its Jay." She told him quickly trying to keep some sort of sense of privacy and hid her total name only gving him part of it

  • (Dang man, sounds miserable)

"Well, Jay, guess I'm gonna end being the one helping you." A somewhat audible sigh could be heard from him. Why did it have to be him? Why couldn't it have been another vampire? Well, there was no turning back now.

After a while of walking, Nathaniel looked up at the apartment building. It was a 6-story tall brick building that didn't look like it was owned by rich people. He walked up the steps and opened up the door that led into the apartment lobby. "Don't talk to anyone or look at anyone, alright? Just follow me. I live on the third floor." Nate headed towards the stairs but stopped to look back at Jamie to make sure she was following.

  • She had followed him up the stairs, trting to take in as much infomation as she could about where she was and where he was taking her. There were quiet a few people around them and she might have disobeyed some of his words because now she was lookingat people as they climbed the stairs or wherever to get to his apartment

  • ( okay, I'll admit it, I was lazy enough to not switch back to my other account, so hi, it's still me, on a different account)

Finally, after a bit of walking, they reached the third floor. Nathaniel entered the corridor and as he did, there were two people out in the corridor talking to each other. As he passed by them, the two of them quietly followed him with their eyes which made Nate incredibly uncomfortable. He was quick to shrug it off and unlocked the door to his apartment, opening up the door a little bit so it wasn't too wide.

The inside of his apartment had different kinds of plants in different areas. Some of the plants didn't even look like they were from Earth. As he entered the place, Nathaniel carefully pushed a small vine out of the way. "Welcome to my apartment, don't break anything."

  • Jamie began to get unnerved by the eyes that were following them as they walked, speeding up to walk in time but also slightly ahead of Nate. Even if she had no idea where she was truly going. Walking into the apartment after him she made a few glances at all the plant, "So you like plants?" She asked plainly not sure what else to say since all she could see was plants.

  • "Well, I guess you can say that. My main powers are pretty much based on nature and life." He gave a small shrug as if it was normal to harbor this many plants in an apartment. Nate made sure that his door was locked and took a quick peek through the small hole in the door to take a look at the people who were watching them. The two of them had shared a quick glance at the door before continuing to talk again. Yeah, there was definitely something going on with those two. He shrugged it off and decided that it could possibly just be paranoia.

"So, you say you were bitten? Do you have any idea on who the person might be? Maybe you know some of their friends or something like that?"

  • "Ahhuh.." She noted without paying much attention to what he was doing at the door. Her focus was on some of the plants right now, she was carefully touching a few on them, deciding she was goin to feel there leaves or smell the flowers they may have on them. Not knowing what they were or what the risk was of doing that. By the time he came around to ask she turned around to face him, rubbing off any pollen that could've gotten on her face. "No I don't. I was walking home and then I got jumped by multiple men.."
