I would read an entire 300 page novel of Li struggling to find a way to call one of the Ryan's without the both of them or someone else answering too.

RYAN:
The kid grinned at Li, immediately comforted by his words. Resisting the urge to hug him, he nodded in response, fiddling with his backpack straps again. "Right." He agreed with a short nod of his head. He didn't have much to contribute, so he turned his gaze onto Luna and the dog, who seemed to be doing fairly okay. Even though he and the girl were only a few years apart, the age difference seemed much more massive when comparing their mannerisms. To him, she seemed a lot more like an eight year old than an eleven year old and so he was assuming she was around that age. Thinking about it that way made him feel very awkward.
Ryan turned to Li again, waiting to be lead out to wherever the siblings planned on going,
GRANGER:
Granger shifted awkwardly as his mistake was corrected, bowing his head a bit. "Oh, um. I apologize." He cleared his throat, squaring his shoulders. "Well, I guess the high school is empty. So, if you don't mind this team-up being a quest to find my little brother, I plan on temporarily wandering down some of the streets until a more plausible place comes to mind." He offered a half-hearted smile, choosing to travel through the rusted front doors this time. It only took him slamming his shoulders against it once for it to slide open. He cautiously held it for the two brothers, pulling out his gun in the case that he'd attracted some unwanted attention.
LEO:
Leo's shoulders ached as he took another swing at a zombie's head, his knuckles already white from clutching his bat. Recounting his steps to this exact moment wasn't really the best of ideas, but it seemed that with each hollow "thud" that echoed through the wooden baseball bat, two more zombies were ready for a full corse meal of raw Leo brains. He was starting to wear out, having already done this for about five to ten minutes and had nowhere to run after backing himself up into a corner. With a heavy sigh, he took abother powerful swing, knocking two more of the undead to the ground and slamming the bat into a brick wall with a loud sound.
