  • LI:

He blinked, but before he could respond Luna spoke. "Luna." He warned sharply. He might be a mellow sweety, but he could be strict at times. Especially with his little sister during a zombie apocalypse.

Honestly he hadn't found many survivors, so he wasn't sure what to say. "It's fine. You're not the only one looking for your relatives." Li called back with a calm yet strong voice. Honestly, it might have not been their mission, but he really had been looking for Logan as they traveled.

  • The small male took a few steps forward, still feeling incredibly shy and awkward. When the little girl said something about staying until he found Arden or someone, he glanced to Li hopefully, though didn't do much when the comment was ignored. He slung the weapon over his back and outstretched his free hand, offering for a shake. "I'm Ryan, by the way." His brown eyes looked to the sky, checking the time and weather briefly.

"So, um. A-are you guys stuck here or are you waiting for someone?" He asked, feeling his cheeks heat up bashfully. He wasn't ever very good at socializing with people outside of his family. He guessed it was a downside to being homeschooled, but he couldn't fix it. He stood there, awkwardly rocking back and fourth on his feet. Occasionally, Ryan would look to Princess, who had gotten bored and sat down on the pavement.

  • Luna smiled at him "I'm Luna, nice to meet you, Ryan." She said. Though she shrugged at his last question. She was starting to get a lil cold due the her tattered attire and glanced down to the dog again

  • Li blinked, hesitantly reaching his larger hand and shaking the other's. He offered a sweet smile after noticing the other acting shyer than the man expected him to. "Li. We were just getting ready to leave and scavenge for a few things we need." He responded calmly. By the way Ryan acted, Li trusted him a bit more. "I don't mind if you come along. But just know I'd keep a very sharp eye on you if you wanted to join us." He warned, though smiled warmly.

  • "Oh! I don't mind at all.. I mean. It's understandable. I'm a strange kid. I'm sure you don't want me bringing any harm to you and your daughter." He said, kind of rushing his words. He smiled softly and unknowingly. Okay. Yeah. No. Ryan needed help. He was struggling to swim here, feeling himself slowly start to drown in his shy awkwardness. Catching Luna looking at the dog, he looked to her. "You can pet her, if you want. The only person she's ever bitten is me. And my step-dad when he dropped a glass of water."

  • Luna grinned and glanced towards him a second before moving slowly to the puppy with a hand out "Li is my big brother, silly billy" She said teasingly, holding her hand out for the dog, Princess, to sniff. She hoped the dog would like her, otherwise.... She'd just hug the dog anyways.

  • Li looked down to the dog for a moment, watching Luna carefully as she attempted to pet the animal.

Oh. Damn. Daughter? His ears burned red. Did the man look that old?? "Oh, uh, she's not my daughter.. she's my sister..." he said a bit sheepishly and awkwardly. Li didn't blame the other for thinking that, though. They had Luna pretty late, and Logan and Li were only a few years apart. It was a weird thing about their family that he didn't like bringing up.

"And everyone is strange in this entire thing, so don't worry." Li liked being docile and civil and peaceful with this kid, he didn't want to start any trouble. Especially not in front of Luna.

  • Ryan flushed, ducking his head a bit. "Oh, I'm sorry- it's just- I just- um, the way you stood in front it her, I thought- I didn't mean- I'm sorry." He stumbled along his words, struggling to get a grip. He turned his gaze to Princess as he fiddled with her leash. The dog seemed to get along with Luna well enough, sniffing the young girl's hand and then proceeding to lick her hand gently. He felt a bit jealous. He loved animals, but they didnt exactly love him. He was bit by all seven of his dogs at least three times in the last year or so.

He looked up, hoping to divert from his awkward mess up. "So, uh, Li, what are you looking for?"

  • Li laughed at his response, scratching the back of his head nervously. "It's fine don't worry about it. People used to assume that all the time." He chuckled, referring to before the apocalypse.

His gray-blue eyes turned to Princess and Luna, watching as they got along. He, too, was a bit jealous.

The man turned back to the other survivor, a smile on his face. "We were just gonna stop by and grab maybe a few new clothes for her and some food. Are you looking for anything like that?" He asked curiously, his eyes darting time to time between Ryan and the dog with his sister.

  • Luna glanced to Li and smiled. She then pet the large dog behind the ear as she listened into Li and Ryan's conversation. "Yeah... My clothes are a bit.. torn" She said in a sheepish soft tone, looking back at Princess. Her aqua eyes scanned the dogs fur. It was a little dirty, but she could wash it with some rain water. She hoped it'd rain soon. The dark clouds lingered in the sky, but hadn't dropped rain yet, a sure sign to her that it would be a bad storm

  • "Uh, no." He admitted, absentmindedly touching his backpack strap as he was reminded of it. "I have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and some dog food, so I might be okay. I just need a toothbrush, since one of my other dogs, Proverb, ate mine." He smiled sheepishly, looking at Li's golden eyes awkwardly.

  • His grin widened slightly in amusement. "How many dogs?" Li chuckled curiously as he grabbed their belongings and started walking down the road awaiting for the other two and Princess to follow. Sorry rushed

  • Luna got up after giving the dog a kiss on her head and petting behind her ear. She then pushed her bangs aside and followed Li

Same, trying to think of drawing ideas :3 I'm still thinking. Already made Ashley...)

Maybe i can draw Ryan? *I know he's Henry from Once upon a time*)

  • sure, if you want ]]

Ryan smiled, feeling a little bit less shy. "Uh, we have seven. Princess, Prince, Proverb, Radar, Momo, Erica, and Rex." He counted them off on his fingers. They were all inside and outside dogs, hence Princess's dirty coat. He followed behind the siblings, wrapping her leash around his hand to shorten it. He didn't have much to say after that, though he would try if one of the others carried the conversation on.

  • The more Ryan talked about himself, specifically about his dogs, the more Li became fond of and trust him. "Oh, who's 'we'?" He asked a bit suspiciously, though continued trusting the other despite so. He wanted to stay safe even if he wanted to believe Ryan. But his sister was more important than making his own friend.

He walked on down the road, abandoned shops beginning to show up. He looked at the signs, looking for something that would have what they were looking for.

  • Luna silently listened in as she walked ahead to see the shops. She glanced back to Li and Ryan and waited for them to catch up. She smiled at Ryan gently in a friendly manner. She hoped the shops had some clothes of a sort. Woah, off topic, she was thinking about dogs and suddenly clothing shops

  • "Oh, um. My family. There's my mom and my step-dad, Eugene and Wendy. Uh, for the kids there's me and my sister Jessie, and then my step siblings, Arden and Granger." Ryan explained, leaving out the part that we was adopted. It was something that was quite personal and not very understandable. Sometimes it changed the way people saw him and Jessie. He didn't want that. He liked Li already, and if he saw if funny because he was adopted it would be a disaster. He could tell them later.

He looked ahead to Luna for a little bit, returning her smile. He was starting to feel comfortable. He glanced at her older brother again, still a little tense, but much more relaxed and talkative than before.

  • He chuckled again as he walked, his eyes more on the road and his sister than Ryan. "That's a big family. It's just the two of us and our older brother, Logan. Wherever the hell that maniac is." Li continued, coming to a stop when he found a clothing store. "We'll go in there first for Luna then we'll head over to the gas station convenient store there a few buildings down." He decided, motioning a tilt of his head to Luna to head in there. If he were someone else, he'd let her go in by herself as he went to the other store for food but who knew if there were any zombies in there. And he wasn't close enough to Ryan to let him go in with Luna, nor did he know of his abilities.

  • Before Ryan could respond, his eyes darted to Luna and nodded when she took out the piece of clothing. "Is that all you're getting? We can go to a different store if you want." He suggested then Castie died
