By the way, are you going to start us off? If not, do we just introduce ourselves?

  • I'll start you off :))

IC: William had been waiting by Rosemary Park since half an hour and his friends still haven't came. He sighed sharply, he disliked not being on time. He silently drank his coffee as he leaned his back on the 7 seater car that he got especially for this adventure. Where are they? He thought as he took another sip, adjusting his glasses onto his face. William scrolled through his phone, still waiting..

  • Sometimes, even demons liked to bask the warm rays of the sun. Well, Reed did, at least. The caprine ink beast was sprawled out across the grass of the lawn--which pricked at their hide, but they didn't mind--enjoying the warmth radiating throughout their inky body. Happy gurgles escaped their throat as they stretched their limbs, and parting their jaws in quite a large yawn, two small, glowing white orbs appeared in the hollow eye sockets of their skull. It had been a long time since an intruder trespassed upon their land, so they decided to lay back while they could. Tail whisking from side to side, the demon finally stood with a snort, pawing at the ground with their left legs. Their barbed tongue swept at the ground along with their spaded tail, and curling the tip around a small patch of grass, they suddenly tugged and tore the heads off of all the unlucky plants. A high-pitched, eerie chuckle escaped their throat as they stomped upon the mutilated plants with a single hoof, and snorting once again, they retracted their tongue and trotted around in a small circle. If they could smile in this form, they would. Another bout of creepy laughter rumbled from their chest as they turned around and trotted back to the building before them: their home. Getting through the door would be difficult in this form--they were just taller than a large horse--so instead of forcing their way through the beast melted, then slid under the door. Reforming back inside, they decided to sprawl themselves on the floor, a quiet murmur leaving their (nonexistent) lips. Now that the house was purged of all unwanted guests, it was actually started to get boring. To make matters worse, they couldn't think of a good prank! They gently kicked the wall nearest to them due to their growing frustration. It wasn't like they could leave or anything, and besides, if a random passerby saw them prancing about in this form they'd surely report it! The demon wouldn't be too happy if they had hunters on their tail just for a small slip-up. Well, now that they thought about it, would the hunters be able to reach them in time? The major demon of this house, their leader, would surely have their head if they brought attention to their home. Speaking of the woman, where was she? Subtle paranoia started to settle in, and falling still, the beast flipped over onto their stomach and looked around, trying to search for any visible movement. Their tongue flicked at the air: a telltale sign of their weariness. They'd never admit it, but the demon actually feared that woman.

  • //Here I go. ^^

Jordan patted his pants, adjusted his grip on his bag and continued his steady pace towards where he was supposed to meet the rest of his friends before they headed off to wherever the hell they were going. He ran his fingers through his untameable hair, fluffing it up even more as he saw the van which he assumed they would be leaving in. He took a few more steps, speeding up his pace before he raised a hand in a wave, assuming William could see him already.

  • William noticed Jordan from the side of his eye., and waved back to him. "You're late like everybody else, Jordan." He said after he greeted him. "If the sun sets, we can't go there. I heard the isn't visible in darkness. You know where we're going, right?" He continued, sipping his coffee. His facial expression had lightened up a bit at the sight of him, but he was still mad at Evelyn and Lorelei for being late. He didn't really want to go where they were going anyway, but the disappearance of Jess made it even weirder, so he was going to the first place that his mind brought... Nevermore.

//OOC: The Part of travelling, after Evelyn and Lorelei come, will be time-skipped and they will be at the house where the Demons could start their part if they want c://

  • Jordan grinned, shrugging in reply to the questions, "Some creepy house in the middle of nowhere. Something like that," he said with a nonchalant wave of his head, "But'd be nice to get away from this place for a while." Jordan wasn't exactly against being around people, he went to the occasional party like everyone else, but a break would be nice, no matter where they're going, and after a moment, he voiced this thought, "Does it really matter where we're going? I mean, we have our friends, and I know it's sappy, but it's true." Jordan leaned against the car, dropping his bag to the floor and tucking his hands in the pockets of his jeans.

  • William shrugged at Jordan's remark. "It doesn't really matter, but just to settle your curiosity if you had any." He said as he stroked his Stygian, Black hair. He looked at his watch and grunted, waiting. "Where do you think Jess went, she can't disappear into thin air, can she?" William interrogated, his eyes scanning all around him.

  • Boredom is all that the demon has know for days. With the house she called home purged of all unwanted guest she had nothing to do. She was coiled around a lap, Being a thick scaly purple mass around its base. She heard a thump which caused a picture to fall off the wall and hit her on the head. Letting out a his of annoyance the demonic serpent unwrapped the lamp and slithered towards the middle of the room. With a grotesque snapping and cracking the snakes head started to elongate and change shape. After a few moments of the gorey transformation was completed. The form of a beautiful women with a mixture of cobra traits replaced the snake head. Lillith lived this form, she loved tricking people and manipulating them with lust. She hasn't had much opportunity to seduce anyone. Her only company for the last while was the ink beast that was before her, and then her. The owner of the house, the only creature that inspired fear in Lillith. Descending to ignore that fear for now she glared at the ink demon.

  • The ink demon stared up at the reptilian glaring down at them, and chuckling softly, they crossed their legs over the other and cocked their head to the side, whisking their tail from left to right. "What?" They snickered, trying to play innocent. Well, as innocent as a demon could get, which wasn't really innocent. "Did I wake you from your 'beauty rest'?" They cooed, standing up and shaking their body like a dog, splattering ink on the walls and waving the blade on their head in an unsafe manner. Some of this ink probably got on the demon before them, but it wouldn't stay there for long. Like slugs, the droplets of ink crept down whatever they landed on and slowly made their way back to the demon, merging with them via their hooves. With a soft huff, the Demon ceased all movement and tilted their head to the opposite side, their tongue flicking at the air. "It's so boring around here now that everyone's dead," the ink beast whined, dramatically falling onto the ground with a loud thud, causing the floor to tremble. "Worst of all, I can't think of a good prank! I know you're just dying to try out a new one," they ended their statement with a small bout of eerie laughter, their tail whisking from left to right. The reptilian demon was a hard one to trick.

  • The reptilian demon of lust rolled her eyes at the laughing pile of ink. Day after day this nation loved to play pranks and often they were on her. She shook her hand cleaning it of some of the splattered ink. "Your last prank got us both in trouble with her, It hasn't occurred to you to cease such Tom foolery." The snake succubus let out a sigh. She could sympathize with reed, she understood the itch for entertainment now that they didn't have any guest.

  • "fUCK!" Evelyn yelled as she ran down the sidewalk, while glancing at her watch every few seconds. She was late, per usual, and didn't want to be left behind while her friends went on a cool trip to a supposedly haunted place. The red head saw a van in the distance that her friend Jordan was leaning against, and decided that it was the vehicle their friends would take. She ran up to the car and stumbled to a stop next to it, heaving heavily while holding her hands on her knees. "Sorry... I'm late." The girl didn't nescarily like not being on time, she just found herself doing it a lot.

  • Reed had fallen silent after she mentioned their last prank, and looking off to the side, they pawed at the ground awkwardly. She did have a point: the two were lucky they were still alive after that prank. "Well, if another trespasser does show up, I'll be able to use the information I've learned from pranking you to prank them!" they cackled, tail lashing. Then, leaning forward just a tad, they moved their head closer to the reptilian. "Seeing humans in pain is enjoyable for the both of us, no?" They hummed, tongue flicking once again, the barbed tip just grazed the demon's nose. "Watching their terror is quality entertainment..." they added, then sighed, which sounded more like a strange gurgle then a puff of air. "I wish I could take my terror to the masses, y'know? People don't just waltz up to our door every day..."

  • Jordan snorted at Evelyn raising a hand to cover his mouth as he looked down at her, "Don't worry, Lorelei has yet to arrive," he reassured her. Jordan fluffed up his hair again, running his fingers through the short strands, something of a habit of his, "Why are we all late? You should just tell us to get here earlier than we should," he said absently, the statement directed to William instead of Evelyn, his head turning to look back at the dark haired male.

  • The succubus swatted the barbed tongue out of her face. "Yes, pain is the most delicious entertainment to have, especially when it's mixed with betrayal" She answered thinking of the past. "Hopefully you can do that little blood bucket trick of yours, The extra blood if from a virgin I get to use for bathing." She said thinking wistfully of the past. When her ink friend mentioned the masses she grew a semblance of sadness "All those delicious mortals, heh no point in thinking about what will never be"

  • Another bout of eerie laughter escaped their skeletal lips when the succubus mentioned their classic 'blood bucket' trick, and with a nod, their tail laid limb beside them. When they mentioned their dreams never coming true, they tapped their hoof on the ground and chuckled, gesturing to the outside world with their tail. "That is true," they hummed in reply, causing their body to ripple. "I just hope someone...anyone...comes along this building: maybe another group of oblivious thrill seekers," they whined, pawing at the ground with their left legs. "That would be most enjoyable, wouldn't it? Maybe we should keep one around, just for the fun of it," Reed offered, tapping the tip of their tongue to their chin like one would with a finger. "Having extra company would be nice, especially when you can freely torture that company is any way you'd like!" They then fell silent with a quiet groan, like they remembered something. They actually did. The Major Demon, Lamia. Would she ever allow them to have their own human puppet?

  • "I highly doubt that shewould let us have a human pet to play with" The succubus said sighing and crossing her arms. Her snake tail started to thrash lightly, she hated how they lived on the whim of her. How come she got to control everything. Then logically thinking how would they be able to keep a human alive if they couldn't leave and get food for them. "All we can hope for is some idiot to run up those steps" Lillith pushed habit out of her eyes and slithered to leave the room. "Please don't disturb my rest this time, beauty is all I have now that it's just us."

  • Reed chuckled and said her farewells, slipping in a "no promises" before they too left the scene, slipping under the door like they did before. Her words were true: now that it was just them--and her---they didn't have much. Reed had her pranks and Lilith(?) has her looks. Besides those two things, neither of them had much. Snorting softly when they reformed, a sneeze racked their inky form, causing their body to ripple and ink to splatter across the grass. Grumbling softly, Reed trotted across the yard--collecting the ink while moving--and pushed through a layer of shrubbery in their path. The yard was large, so they could explore a bit further. While wandering, their eyes skimmed the 'trophies' they left about: a few bones were tied to the trees and dangled like wind chimes, and to them, when they knocked up against each other the melody produced brought them more peace than any wind chime could. The bones were hidden among the leaves--if they were visible, they'd scare away guests--but their noises could still be heard. Deciding to lounge under one tree the ink beast sighed softly, closing their eyes.

  • "Yeah, next time. I'll surely do that." William said as he turned around to face Evelyn and Jordan. "Being the one to always wait is getting boring, too." He said, chuckling as he took another sip of the coffee. "Oh, also, I forgot to tell you that I had went and got the road snacks and drinks while on the way here. They're in the car. I brought coffee in the car too, you could take it now and leave the other drinks for later." He tapped his foot unconsciously as he spoke, "Evelyn, did you see Lorelei while coming here?"
