  • Even though Illya wasn't one of the nicest people in the world, he still cared for others. And he thought that gifts would be a good thing for everyone to have. So, the dingo had two baskets filled to the brim with all different types of gifts. There were some things for the kids, like stuffed animals and some coloring books, and some for the adults, like paints, books, and many other things. He even had some food on trays that lay on the ground, which were most brownies, chocolates, sweets, and some lemonade.

Standing in the middle of camp, the Russian cleared his throat (something he did whenever he was about to make an announcement). "I have gifts." He called out, his Russian accent lacing through his words as he spoke. Even though he had been around so many people with different accents over the many years, the male still never lost his thick Russian accent.

Going over to one of the baskets, he went and picked out something he had gotten just for Pris. It was a stuffed blue whale, and luckily, it wasn't too big for the small feline. Ever since the incident with one of her jewel eyes being shattered, he knew he'd have (not have, he wanted) to give her a gift. And he thought this was perfect. Setting it down on the ground, he also pulled out a coloring book and some crayons for her.

Oh, Jacob loved gifts! The little boy was quick to waddle on over when he heard Illya's announcement and looked at the baskets with a smile. "Thank you!" The child would first express his gratitude before then moving closer to Illya until he was standing right in front of him and had to look up at him. "You're really tall!" He would exclaim. He'd never actually been this close to Illya before and seemed fascinated by this fact. "Can we be friends?" He would then ask soon after. Whether this was because Jacob didn't know Illya well or because he was tall or both wasn't clear. He just seemed like a cool guy to the child. Besides, he was pretty quiet. At least, Jacob thought he was. Maybe he was lonely and needed more friends.

  • //oml Jacob is so precious and innocent

Illya smiled quickly as Jacob approached, looking at the young boy. He nodded when the husky said "Thank you!", and chuckled when he commented on his height. The dingo knew he was very tall for his breed, standing at about 2'8" tall. When he asked Illya if they could be friends, the man grinned. "Yes, we can be friend." He said, hoping to get to know Jacob better. Suddenly, he recalled something. Didn't he like flower crowns?

Standing over the baskets, the brute searched through the basket, hoping they weren't crushed. And luckily, they weren't. Illya wasn't a big fan of flower crowns, but he knew others liked them. So, he placed a few on the ground and smiled. "Here, take one."

  • Gifts? How kind. Pierce, too, thought gift giving was a nice thing to do. He loved to see the looks on his friends and clanmates' faces when he gave them things, anything. The way they (usually) lit up, the obvious gratitude on their features. He loved to make others happy - it was pretty much the only thing he was good at. Or, he was sometimes. Other times people seemed to be bothered by him. But that was beside the point - what mattered right now was Illya. He padded over after Jacob, peering at the Russian's presents for the others. "This is quite thoughtful," he stated with a small smile. "Thank you, Illya. Ah- how have you been?" He hadn't spoken to the older male much recently. Not that he ever had, though.

  • Illya had been waiting for Jacob to choose when Pierce's voice caused him to look over at the serval. Smiling softly, the Russian dipped his head. "Thank you. And no need to thank me." He shrugged his broad shoulders. It was the least he could do for the Clan that had taken him in with open arms. At the question of how he was, Illya's thoughts started to wander. "Okay, I suppose. I still do not know where Rhea has gone." The male was tempted to tell him about how he was worried about her, but decided not to. "How are you, Pierce?"

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Her life back on the farm had been a humble one; many nights, Ambrosia would snuggle in with her massive family with mud on her pelt, or no food in her belly. Of course, the lifestyle made her tough and gave her grit, but on many occasions, the kitten wished she had been big enough to care for herself instead of relying on others to feed her. She had always wanted to feel independent, and now she was independent as can be!

However, she never did enjoy the finer things in life. Education, reading, and nicer food had always been just out of her reach, so far away yet so close. Even now, she felt reluctant to try the things that had never been offered to her. The spunky kitten came bounding up, and once she reached Illya's large paws, she stared up at him with a glow in her earthen eyes. "Tha's mighty kind of ya, mister!" came her southern drawl, a wide grin on her face. She seemed to now drown out those around her as she dug into the goodies, managing to unearth a thin comic book after a few seconds of rummaging. Her eyes widening as she saw the cover, she then made a promise that she would teach herself to read.

It wasn't common that there were gifts given inside the Clan. Many allies would bring them gifts on their weekly visits..but not a Clan member to another Clan member. It was kind of nice, actually. Smiling, the Deputy approached and noticed the books. When did she last read a good book? Maybe he'd be able to recommend something to her. "What book would you recommend?"

  • Illya smiled at Ambrosia when she spoke up from where she stood near his paws. Looking back up at Fadingmoon when she arrived, the male pondered for a moment. He didn't read much, but what he did read was pretty good. "I have some history books zat are good, along with mysteries and action books. Zose are my favorite." He added, picking up a "Hardy Boys" mystery book. The Russian really liked these.

Fadingmoon could not say that she'd read these books before, but she was willing to give most anything a chance. She wasn't much for horror stuff, unless it was so cheesy that it was great. But even then, not her forte. Smiling, she extended a paw the take the book from the male. "I'll make sure to return it when I'm done. Thank you."
