  • Littlestar was doing this because her cousin used to lead this place. She wasn't a liked leader and people had often spoken about overthrowing her. It had both enraged and saddened Littlestar because in the end, she only wanted Twilightzone to be happy. But it had all gone south the minute Twil came to Hawkclan, foaming from the mouth for someone had poisoned her and she had died the next day. A tragic loss for the world. And she believed, at first, that Caera the new Leader had done it to maintain power but soon found it it had not been the young leader. To this day she didn't know whom had murdered her cousin. The three legged tabby made a vow to ensure the Cartel would remain okay. Even if... Hawkclan used to be engaged in war with it. They weren't any longer. They weren't quite allies but Littlestar had no ounce of hatred towards them and the Cartel had not attacked them since. So it was overdue time to.. visit. And have a talk with the Leader and attempt to get to know her better. Who knew? Maybe a friendship would be made tonight. The three legged tabby had made the walk to the Cartel rather then flying there with her pet griffin. Her pet hawk, Myla, had accompanied her and was flying someways above only landing when Littlestar stopped to take a breather. Soon she was at the groups border, dark golden eyes scouting for any signs of life. Surely enough, some people came forwards and Littlestar dipped her head, no smiles as per usual. "Yo, yo. Here to talk with your cool leader." Littlestar was quite interested and maybe a little excited to see another young leader. There weren't many of them. She herself was a young leader so seeing another one would be pretty cool. "Name's Littlestar, leader of Hawkclan." She answered when some asked for her name, as they normally did.

    Caera

  • the scent of hawkclan made xael's stomach twist uneasily. she'd visited shortly after twilight's death, and he knew littlestar to have been quite attatched to her. and here she was, visiting the members who'd hated the feline's reign the most. george, xael, and sollux had given her the most trouble- not to mention betty, who was no longer around. "good to see you, littlestar." she'd mew, offering a weak smile to the younger creature. she'd send out a telepathic call for caera just to ensure she'd arrive. "she'll be here soon." she hummed, seating herself nearby george.

  • The battle scarred feline looked towards George as he arrived, noticing his blunt stare and how he seemingly refused to look away or dip his head. His acknowledgement of her was very forthright and whilst she could respect that, it unnerved her and pissed her off, just slightly. Anyways, she recognized him from the times she'd visited the Cartel before Twilightzone passed away. And somehow the female could remember his name. It had begun with King but she distinctly remembered refusing to call him by 'King' because it annoyed her. "George." Littlestar uttered right back, her voice as blunt as his own. The tabby seated herself as it seemed it might be a tiny bit of a wait before Caera came forwards. She was cool with that. It was a chance to scope out the Cartels territory and see how it compared to Hawkclans redwood forest. Another familiar face walked forwards and she recognized Xael to be the one who requested aid when the Exiles attacked the Cartel. Yeah, she remembered that raid for the Exiles had their asses beat by the two clans. "Ah, yo Xael," she greeted, nodding her head at the grey pelted feline. "All cool with me." The girl added when she spoke of Caera, stub tail twitching a little. Once upon a time, the young girl would've given an impatient glance to the side, tested the waters by snorting a little but she was much less rude nowadays. Normally the snideness and remarks remained inside her head unless provoked.

"Before she gets here; how's the Cartel doing these days?"

george twitched his ears, not knowing what to say to her question, though he supposed it wasn't much of a secret that the cartel was being given hell right now from other clans, courtesy of him. "it's fantastic, really a fun, loving place." he snorted, sarcasm thick in his voice.

"really, i would be surprised if you haven't heard what it's like here nowadays."

These days, Caera was miserable. She felt like the war coming down on The Cartel was all her fault - if she had stepped in and stopped what George was doing, would they have avoided all of this? She had gone on and on about how she needed to have guts when she first stepped up as the leader, but now that Pippa was gone and fewer people seemed to be challenging her, she had gotten comfortable. Comfortable enough to forget how fragile The Cartel was at this time and to let her Crew do whatever they wanted. She had stopped stepping in and monitoring their activity. She would often disappear, leaving the Crew do handle themselves. Just how had she let herself become so relaxed, so unobservant? She was stupid, and now her entire Crew was going to pay for it.

Instead of patrolling the borders like a good leader would do, she remained holed up inside her room in the Aztec temple. She had some majour things to think about. Everyone was mad at George, and the "* slavery ring' he had run. It was the first Caera was hearing about most of this. The entire ordeal had happened when she was in and out, so she had never gotten a chance to truly learn about what he was doing with the Prostitution division. Since everyone wanted him, would giving him up to the enemies save The Cartel? She hated thinking like this- having to betray her family in such a heartless manner- but she had to look out for the many over the few. To save hundreds, could she sacrifice one? That question had caused her to toss and turn in the night and stare at a wall for hours on end during the day. Not many had bothered her, Xael's call ringing telepathically through her head being the first time she had been asked for in hours, possibly days- she couldn't tell time anymore.

She was weary, slinking out of her room and sticking to the shadows in an attempt to avoid the gazes of her Crew. She had failed them so badly. She just wanted something to do, something that could bring their moods up. If they were going to survive this oncoming war with some of the largest clans, they'd need morale. They'd need hope in their hearts, victory cries ready in their throats, and that was something she just could not give them right now. She could barely muster a smile and good posture as she walked up to the three, yellow eyes flashing around to observe the scene. Was Littlestar coming here to inform them that Hawkclan would now be enemies with The Cartel? She wouldn't doubt it, not with everything going on right now. "Littlestar, you are a sight for sore eyes. How've you been?" Her voice was dry and raspy, clear that she hasn't used it in a while.

  • all goods bruh <3

Littlestar noted the sarcasm thick in George's voice as he responded to her question. She tilted her head and thought that it explained why the territory seemed so desolate and a little more then shaken up. But no, she hadn't exactly heard of why all these raids were happening. "What's the reasoning behind the wars, then?" She asks curiously, guessing that someone captured someone and things just went to shit right after. The tabby had experience with war, if her body wasn't indication enough of that fact. Her clan had been involved in wars with Shadowclan, Bloodclan and the Exiles. They'd very nearly engaged in war with the Cartel during Ichigo's reign but thankfully that had been short lived, otherwise the feline likely wouldn't be standing at their border today. She turns her golden eyes towards Caera and notices how the other girl looked a little bit like shit. That was okay, though, Littlestar always looked like shit and didn't judge bad appearances. Besides, the other girl was quite pretty so it didn't matter much how tired she seemed or whatnot. The greeting uttered from the hybrid made the Monarch snort but she answered the question nevertheless. "Could be better." No shit.

The battle scarred girl inclines her head at Caera, ears angling forwards. "And you?" It's only common courtesy to repeat the same question towards the other. She would ask for the dinner date after Caera had asked the question. She could guess the answer but decided to see anyways.
