Selena was gonna try and help Fenris when the man she just hit grabbed her, he grabbed both her wrists and held them tightly behind her back, she struggled but it was nothing compard to how he held her arm, she tried kicking him but he had noticed it and backed away before he hit the back of her knee and she dropped onto them. He grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled it as she breathed sharply, he definitely made himself clear onto be the first on her kill list, but right now, theres nothing to be done. She tried struggling again, but somebody has come to help him and had punched her to make her stop struggling. "Don't make me ruin that pretty face of yours." He smirked, laughing at her, she bit her lower lip to stop herself from cursing. "Same goes to you." She said and the person who had punched her chuckled while the one who had her tied pulled onto her hair more.

The rest of the group seemed content to either watch or join in on abusing the pair, until someone behind them all cleared their throat loudly. "What is the meaning of this?" The group split as a woman, only seeming a bit older than Fenris and Selena, strode through in a military outfit. Her blonde hair was tied up in a ponytail and her gray eyes were cold as she glared at the pair. Fenris stopped struggling the moment he saw her, just staring at her. "What are you all doing? Messing with a few intruders?" She glared at the man in the black suit, who didn't meet her gaze. "I expect my milita to be ready and patrolling at all times, not sitting here with whoever these two are!"

Selena was looking down at the floor most of the time before she looked up at the lady, a thin blood trail going down her lips as she looked at her. "Seems like we were kind of saved." She sighed silently in relief, but stayed tensed up in case anything happens. She glanced at Fenris, she was the one who had brought them into this by being stupidly clumsy, she just looked away as her mind whirlled with thoughts and she must've been looking at the ground as the man who held her had yanked her head upwards to look at the lady in military uniform. She didn't fully know what was happening now, so she just stayed silent.

The woman stood in front of Selena and looked down at her with a cold and calculating stare. "You seem to be in much better condition than your friend over there, so you will answer my questions." She declared, motioning for the men near Selena to back away. Fenris only stared at the lady, his expression unreadable under his mask. "Now, please tell me who you are any why you're in my town. Otherwise I'll assume you are an enemy I'll have resort to more, gruesome ways of making you answer me." She warned, some of the men seeming to smile slightly at the threat.

Selena quickly replied, but she gave fake names to both of them for no apparent reason other than she felt like it could help them sometime. "I'm Megan, this is Sam. We came here looking for shelter for only one night, instead we got attacked."She said, growling under her breathe but hoping she didn't hearr the growl.

If the woman heard the growl or saw past the lie she didn't draw any attention to it, only a hum leaving her in response. "Well I'm afraid we do not offer shelter to strangers. Especially ones that hide their faces." She walked over to Fenris, leaning over him as she looked at the mask. "Can you even breath in that thing?"

"There's that person with the suit basically like his." She said, tilting her head towards the person with the jet black suit. She straightened her back and tries getting up on her feet again, only to be yanked down again onto her knees. "Well, we need our weapons back anyways. And leave us to get up then we'll be on our way." She continued, confidence and boldness appearing really well in her voice, she straightened her back again but without getting up, locking her eys with the lady.

The lady seemed to smile for a moment, however it was quickly brushed away. "I'll decide when it is you leave and if you get your weapons back. I run a tight ship and I hate interruptions." She glared at Selena before her gaze returned to Fenris, looking him up and down for a moment. She hummed as she leaned down and, with Fenris struggling against it, pulled his mask off. Her eyes widened in surpise as Fenris looked away, before she smirked and grabbed his chin to make him look back at her. "Fenri~"

Selena's eyes widened when the lady recognized Fenris, she wanted to ask how he knows her. She had a weird feeling inside of her...fire...it can't be..can it? Jealousy...? No, can't be. She glared at the lady without her noticing, still being pinned down. The man that was holding her placed his hand on her neck as he got close to her face, she closed her eyes as he talked. "It'd be a shame to let you go." He said, selena opened an eye and looked at him through a narrowed eye. "Well, if I don't go, I'm probably gonna die from the smell." She spat, still in the same position.

The woman didn't seem to notice Selena or the man, too busy on examining Fenris. "My my my, you've grown haven't you? I hardly even recognized you, this suit does seem like your style though doesn't it?" She giggled as she spoke, drawing confused looks from the group. Fenris squirmed in her grip, refusing to meet her gaze. "Aww, look at you struggle. It reminds me of the old days." She sighed and smiled before she stood up, her cold look returned on her face. "Please escort these prisoners to the cells unharmed, I'll question them soon." She ordered, still holding Fenris's mask.

The man growled at her reply and she smirked at it. She turned her head to look at the lady and Fenris. Old days? He's grown? What? She thought, the man grabbing her face to look at him again. "Such a shame your boyfriend will die, but don't worry, I'll gladly take his place." He said, laughing quietly as to not interrupt the lady. Selena was taken aback by the term "boyfriend" Did he actually think they were together? She was about to oppose or even attack him now if possible, but she was grabbed upwards onto her feet. "Wait, what?" She whispered to herself as she was pushed into walking.

"And please be gentle with both of them, I'm sure my dear wouldn't want his friend hurt after all." The woman watched as Fenris and Selena were lead away, Fenris only staring at the ground as he walked. She did leave after them, a smirk on her face as she strode deeper into the town. After a few minutes of walking they arrived at an old police station, the men quickly shoving the pair into a cell and locking it before reluctantly walking away. Fenris sat on the ground, not looking at Selena.

As Selena was pushed, she cursed. "You little-" But she didn't continue and just kicked at the ground. "Great, locked in a cell.."She muttered, sighing and looking upwards at the ceiling before running her fingers through her hair. She looked around and noticed Fenris sitting and looking at the ground and not doing anything, their hands were still tied. She walked towards him and sat cross legged beside him. "Hey, Fenris, you okay?" She asked, even though she guessed he wouldn't answer her. "Who was she?" She asked, emphasizing on "she" and looking at him as he avoided eye contact.

Fenris was silent for awhile until a sigh escaped him, glancing back at Selena for a moment before he spoke. "That...she...her name is Artemis. She's..." He paused as if considering what words to use. "She's an acquaintance of my family. It's...it's a bit of a story." He was hesitant with his words, still in shock from seeing her again. "Remember when I told you about how me and my family used to be theives in an old settlement I lived in?"

Selena nodded and saw Fenris' expression, he seemed...shocked and kind of...sad? She couldn't fully read his expression anyways. She had a million question on her mind, like Why was she treating you aa if she owns you? Or Why are you so shocked by meeting her, she's a family acquaintance? but nothing came out of her mouth, the same feeling still growing inside of her. A man or two came to the cell their in, laughing. "I'd love to be in the cell." Was the only sentence Selena heard, but she knew what they were talking about anyways and rolled her eyes. She wanted to say multiple stuff that could shut them the he up, but she didn't and they just walked off. She hated being here, she felt...helpless and as if she was being toyed with.

Fenris glared at the men as they spoke, his eyes on them until they went out of sight. He sighed in relief when they were gone, the silence reigning for awhile. Finally it seemed as if he was about to speak again until a voice cut him off. "Knock knock you two, it's time for questioning." Her voice was somewhere between her cold tone and a sickly sweet one, grinning as she unlocked the cell. Fenris kept his eyes on the ground as Artemis walked in, hands on her hips as she examined the pair. "Alright 'Megan' it's time for your questioning, come on." She turned around and waited outside the cell expectantly

Selena almost said her name isn't Megan before she remembered what she had done, she glanced at Fenris and mouthed "Wish me luck." before she walked over to Artemis, her hands in front of her as they were tied. She stayed silent and just looked at the ground even though her mind urged her to punch that lady, but she didnt and brushed that thought into the back of her mind.

Fenris only nodded in reply, watching Selena and Artemis walk away. After they left the cellblock Artemis lead Selena to a secure interrogation room, although this one didn't have a one way mirror. "Have a seat, make yourself comfortable." She said as she locked the door behind them, sitting in one of the chairs at the small table.

Selena didn't feel safe at all, especially when she locked the door, but she didn't do anything nor make it show physically and she still held her head high. She pulled out a chair with both her hands tied and sat on it, putting her hand on the table. She played with her thumbs a bit, glancing at Artemis every 2 seconds. She didn't know what to expect in this interrogation, but she was glad that it was only both of them. Her mind kept getting scenarios of what could happen as she stayed silent.

Artemis had a cup of coffe sitting on the table, which she drank out of as she looked Selena up and down for a moment. "So here's how this is going to work, you tell me the truth and you get to walk out of here. You lie, and you won't walk." She finished her coffee and sat up in her seat. "Let's start at the beginning, how did you meet Fenris?"
