  • Dew felt really nervous about the meet and greet she wanted to host. She'd been walking, seeing a few people as of now. But she wasn't sure if she felt ready. She was nervous, nervous through these small meeting. What did they really think of her? She wasn't sure she wanted to know, but she had stayed up all night making a few random flower crowns, and more specific flower crowns to those she'd met to suit their fur.

For Price, She had made a red and pink flower crown with cut off thrones, thrones were visible on the outside but it wouldn't hurt putting it on, the thorns on the inside were carefully cut off.

For one, she had seen before but never talked to... But a flower crown with sunflowers was going to bring out his eyes. She sighed as she finished that flower crown so she gently put it away.

Fadingmoon... Those eyes and that fur, she picked flowers, light pink and very light blue and a very few added white daisies to suit her perfectly. At least she thought so.

For Mar. That was random colored flowers with two beautiful fully bloomed roses sticking out from each side. She was very careful with that one.

It was a few more to do, and she tried to think and sort the flowers.

  • It had been a very busy week and Peri had very few chances to get out and meet everyone that passed through. Through the piles of herbs and constant training exercises, the medic trainee finally found some time to get out and about. Meeting people was one of her favorite things to do--even if it was emotionally draining--and she regretted not being able to do it more often, as of late. Stifling a yawn, the lovely female strolled elegantly through the trees, petite figure gliding gracefully across the terrain as if her paws did not even need to touch the ground. She nearly missed the sight of Dew, only catching a glimpse of the feline at the last second. Hmm.. she did not seem familiar. "Bonjour!" Greeted the she-wolf with a warm smile, trotting over to inspect, albeit cautiously, as if expecting Dew to reject her and send her away. "Are you making flower crowns?" Imperia questioned, inching over ever so carefully. "They are lovely." Pallid grey eyes swept over the assorted blooms, drinking in the sight of the rich colors and their organic shapes. It was no secret that the girl loved flowers, though anyone could tell by the way she practically fawned over them.

  • Again with the flower crowns? There didn't seem to be a person in the clan that didn't make them... except him. Screw crafts. He was never good at them, like he was never good at reading or writing. He would just stick to what he loved most: singing, playing the guitar, and drinking 'n smoking.

Jerseyboy, as he came over to observe, noticed that Imperia was here as well. Well, shit. They weren't on the best of terms right now since they had an argument (or more like he yelled at her). But hey, he was doing just fine. Jersey was slowly getting back into smoking again and finding it easier to do so. She didn't have to fuss over him. Still, it was a bit strange, seeing as they hadn't seen each other since that day.

The tuxedo tom gave a quick, short-lived glance to the wolf before fixating his gaze onto the real subject here. Jerseyboy had seen her around maybe once, but he didn't know her name. "Who're you?" The New Jersian asked, getting straight to the point. His greetings always tended to be more blunt.

  • The small female stopped her worked with a few daisies in her mouth as she looked at the wolf with a smile. Saying nothing at first as she lets her scan the flowers. She had carefully picked them out, made sure they were flawless, then again... No matter how a flower looked, they were flawless in her eyes. She let Peri be for a moment and just smiled happily, but after a short, while she left got of the flowers and when to her random pile of flower crowns, looking over the wolf then back into the pile. "Do you liked Dahlias?" Dew asked softly and picked up a flower crown that was neatly made with Dahlias, Big beautiful flowers, purple redish with white tips. Picking it up and walking over to Peri, offering her the bigger crown. "I think you'd compliment these flowers very well."

She put down the flower crown to Peri as she turned looking at Jerseyboy offering him a warm smile and dipped her head. "The name's Dew. I've been around since birth, but I have mostly kept to myself... Until now." she chuckled and say down, scanning him, trying to figure out what sort of flowers would look well on that handsome head. "I wanted to put on a meet and greet... So I could meet some friend and get better introduced to others."

  • BUNE

"Do people actually wear those things?" Bune inquired, sneering a bit at the sight of the dainty accessories. The large canine made his way over gingerly, his torso still rather sore from his recent injuries. He had not met many of his new Clanmates, and he was definitely not good at friendly interactions. What was the point of these - what, flower crowns? Seemed like a waste of time of sit around stringing plants together. Is this what people did in BlizzardClan all day? They should be training. How were they supposed to defend themselves or take down their enemies if all they did was dick around? Pfft.

Oh, Jacob loved flower crowns! Especially when he was a bit younger, the child had greatly enjoyed making the accessories and had gotten rather good at it. The husky would limp over with a wide smile spread across his maw. When he heard a stranger ask if anyone actually wore them. While to some this was obviously offensive, Jacob liked to think the best of everyone so even if he got negative feelings from the statement, he just opted to ignore them. Now, if either his father or Jersey had said something like that, he would immediately take offense, as Jersey had learned just some time ago when they'd had a bit of an argument over this very item. "Hi, I'm Jacob. Yes, people wear them because they're pretty," He would first state, glancing towards the stranger who had asked about their use. The tone of his voice held no aggression, simply seeming like an informative statement before then turning his attention to the one who had made all the lovely accessories. "I think your flower crowns look very pretty," The little boy would greet happily, his tail wagging a bit as he spoke.

  • Flower crowns! The fox pup's orange eyes lit up at the sight of the colorful crowns made of flowers. She loved them so much, just looking at them put her at ease. Yarithria liked this 'Dew' girl already. She rolled her eyes at the question previously asked. Who could possibly dislike them? They were so fun to make, too. The fox walked over and sat down closer. "Um, those look really pretty," she simply started, "You're very good at making them." She forced a smile. Having nothing more to say, Rithri watched silently.

  • She smelled him before she heard him. Cigarettes and smoke. The stench of nicotine mixed with alcohol floating past on the breeze. Ever so slowly, Imperia turned to regard Jerseyboy with a pair of pallid grey eyes, gaze locked on his handsome features. An unreadable expression painted her lovely visage. She, too, had not forgotten their previous interaction--she likely never would. All she did was scold him for smoking too soon after his injury, as the smoke would aggravate the healing flesh. It was her right as a doctor and as a concerned friend. But as Jerseyboy made it very clear, her attention was not needed. He had yelled at her. Got right up in her face. And he had not apologized once.

Her lips pressed into a thin line, hurt glimmering in those luminous silver eyes as she offered him a curt nod in greeting and turned away. Thankfully Dew provided the perfect distraction before Imperia could become irate. The moment she beheld the lovely crown of dahlias, a lovely grin spread across her features. "Oh, these are gorgeous! Merci beaucoup," she exclaimed in a hushed voice, as if she might disturb the others by speaking too loud. "My name is Imperia Arceneau, by the way. It is a pleasure to finally meet you." Never forget an introduction. That was one of her rules, as it would be quite rude to not greet those around her. Sensing another presence, Peri turned just as Jacob arrived. She warmed almost immediately. "Ah, Doudou, it is good to see you," peri had just seen him only hours before, but she loved him so much that she could not help but become overjoyed whenever he was around. Jacob was one of the few she truly felt comfortable around.

Everyone in this fucking clan was just another treehugger in a bunch of hippies lazing around and meditating and passing around a peace pipe and making little flower hats or whatever the hell they were called. Lucifer, Pad was a fucking hypocrite. Either way, it seemed people- including Jacob, ugh- were gathering around this celebration of wearing a wreath of wilted stems and petals on their head, so naturally, Pad took interest. What didn't he take interest in?

Still semi-reinflating himself from the whole meteor incident, the ghost wobbled over, nearly tripping over his aching limbs. In all honesty, he hadn't even been here for an entire year, but was still making quite the impression. It wouldn't hurt to have one more person after his hide. "Why flower, uh, crowns? Seems like a big ol' waste of effort, don'tcha think?" he sneered with a curled lip, exposing his set of terrible teeth. Pad hooked one of the crowns with his paw, holding it up in the air as if he expected it to do something useful, before he tossed it down carelessly in disgust.

  • Ooh, flower crowns again? Alexus had been making some a few days ago, and the crown she gave him had long since wilted. Still, it had been pretty while it lasted, and he really admired her for being so talented with her paws when it came to creating the crowns - he always somehow managed to rip the petals apart. Which was a bit funny, considering the fact that he was quite gentle when it came to handling things and usually adept at crafts. Wandering over after Pad, Pierce cast the injured feline a glance that was a mixture of both insult and confusion.

"I don't think so," he said finally with a small frown. "They're pretty. They're art." After seeing Pad's true colors, however, the time he was thrusting the torch at Jacob, Pierce wouldn't be surprised if he didn't understand what real art was. Not only were flower crowns works of art, but they made Pierce feel better about himself - they gave him self-confidence. Turning to Dew, he sent her a brief smile.

Jacob would lay his ears on his head when Pad arrived and seemed to shrink away from the older male. When he would insult the flower crowns, he felt anger bubble up in him. Why couldn't everyone here see how rude it was to disregard something that took so much time and effort to create. These ones were even well made. The child would glance towards Pierce, nodding in agreement with him. He would hesitate before finally speaking to Pad, though he avoided eye contact with the undead male. "I think that they-they're pretty too. Flowers are nice. They don't gotta' do anything to make them fun or nice," The little boy would state, still not quite meeting Pad's gaze as he spoke.

  • Flower crowns? Sounded too gross and "pretty," in his opinion. But he was not one for flowery, dreamy kinda things, that was for sure.

Padding up, Illya frowned, looking at the crowns with a confused expression. "Flower crowns...? What is the use of putting flowers on your head?" He assumed it was for decoration, but wouldn't they just die quickly anyways? He had a few more questions, but shook his head. The dingo was here for the meet and greet. "I have not seen you around. Illya Kuryakin."

  • The black and tan canine limped up to stand beside Illya, his tail wagging slightly, "Howdy there miss, nice ta meetcha. Name's JW." The southern cowboy barked a cheery greeting. He enjoyed meeting new animals, putting faces to names, it was quite fun. It was a bit like a puzzle for him, and boy did he like puzzles.

  • Dew started to feel overwhelmed but this is what she prepared herself for, but she felt her paws shaking as she stood, her smile and expression remained calmed as possible. "I liked what I like, it makes me happy, and if something makes you happy it shouldn't stop you from doing it. And if someone wants to wear it or not, preferences, if you think it's a waste of time... Doesn't mean everyone else does" she said with a smiled and grabbed a few flowers, starting to make another crown with a smile on her lips.

  • Of course everyone disagreed with him. Apparently voicing the unpopular opinion in the clans was taboo. He was beginning to grow tired of all these social rules. Pad missed the good old days when he was alone, speaking aloud such taboo thoughts to himself in the dark and unwelcoming forest, with nobody responding beyond the echo of his rasping voice and the occasional cawing of unseen crows.

It may of been slightly true that Pad didn't have a grasp on the concept of art. It was a forbidden luxury to him in the last years of life- all he had time to even think about was survival. The only thing he could indulge in was the pride of playing a woodwind, but the ghost hadn't touched his flute in years.

With a huff expanding his bruised and scraped sides, he watched through narrowed eyes as Pierce gave him a hurtful glance, and even more so when Jacob cowered away from him. He had known that people hated him, but did they have to make it this obvious? Couldn't he cling onto the foolish illusion of being wanted in BlizzardClan? Ska'arq had told him that this clan was supposed to be a family, but did the dragon really know what he was talking about? As his doubts piled up inside of the empty space where his heart should be beating, Pad kept his aloof composure. "I just meant that they would wilt soon. They look nicer when they're... alive." the ghost lied through his clenched teeth, feeling the familiar chilly burn of anger rise to his pale face. The wise words of Dew went completely over his head. Then Jacob spoke. That was it. Everything about the beloved pup irked him- his hand-knitted sweater, his polished glasses, his doe-eyed gaze, but mostly, the attention and care he received. Pad was still a kid, yet there was no doting family to be seen. They had been killed out of nothing but prejudice. He didn't even get to say a goodbye. He only got to mourn over the ashes of their campground, tears cutting trails down his dirtied and freckled cheeks as he wept on his bloodied knees.

"You know, Jacob," the demon purred in a sickly sweet voice dripping with honey and venom as he drew closer to the bandaged husky. "You aren't so pretty yourself. What would someone like you know about beauty?" That was low, even for someone as rotten as him. To prey upon someone's insecurities was something Pad would never do without there being something deeply wrong with him. Once the hateful words escaped his jaws, he instantly regretted even thinking of them. Jacob was just a kid, Pad was just a kid. Sure they had their differences, but Pad was previously trying to help in his distorted ways.

Now, he was nothing more than a bully. And that made him sick to his gut. That made him despise himself even more. So much for a peaceful meet and greet.

  • Dew couldn't help but sigh then chuckle slightly as she listened to Pad. she found it amusing because she didn't fully understand what the satisfaction he got to be mean to someone. Maybe it was the thing one was missing, not having that person, or persons to be nice to you, support what you like, and who you are. She picked up specific flowers, sunflowers, with a few daisies and nodded in agreement to Pad as she made her way over with the crown to him, offering him it. "Now, don't be like that. Everyone is a beauty, even you." she said with a warm smile, gently nudging the flower crown to him.

Jacob found himself nodding in agreement with Dew'a first statement. If you liked doing something, you shouldn't just stop for everyone else. If they didn't like it, they could go do something else, they didn't have to stick around. Then he heard Pad. The little boy would turn his gaze to the slightly older male. As Pad got closer to him, he clearly appeared to be terrified of the feline. He wanted to bolt and run away but he forced himself to stay in place. He tried to offer a shaky smile and replace his fear but all he could see when he looked at Pad was the fire. Panic surged through him as he could remember the smell of smoke, the chill that cane with having his skin exposed, the flames licking up the air all around him, suffocating him. Then he heard the ending of his phrase and his eyes widened even more. He said nothing, he just stared at Pad. Tears immediately began to well up in his eyes and a sob broke from him. Pad was right, of course. Everyone else just said otherwise because they were nice. Then he heard Dew chuckling. He hadn't even registered what she had said but his assumption was that she must agree with the ghost before him. She had never even seen him without his andmages and she still thought he was ugly, just like everyone else. His entire body shook and he stumbled backwards on shivering paws. He tried to find something to say but he was now painfully aware that he had ruined the meet and greet. He hadn't meant to do that. He hadn't meant to cry. It would just be better if he stayed inside. The child would abruptly turn without a word and ran away as fast as he could with his leg being as it was. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he ran towards his hut and his small body shook with sobs even as he ran.

  • Once the discourse and discussion began, Imperia was content to sit back and keep quiet. Conflict was something she preferred to stay out of if she could do anything about it. Large purple flowers captured her attention, studying the flower crown in detail before placing it carefully on her head. She was only halfway listening, humming a song under her breath, and then she heard it. She heard Pad make a comment on Jacob's appearance. She saw the boy begin to cry and then she saw him run away. It was all in slow motion. She wanted to reach out and hold him, to reassure him that Pad was just a bully and that none of it was true. But her limbs were lead and the air was syrup. By the time she had full control of herself, Jacob was gone. So Imperia turned to Pad instead.

It was not rage, nor could it exactly be called anger. It was cold. A frigid blue fire burning behind those silver eyes. "How dare you?" Her voice was so low that it was nearly a growl. A disgusted expression twisted her lovely features into a frown, luminous eyes narrowed into slits. "That boy only ever treats people with love and respect. I am absolutely disgusted," it was rare that Imperia was ever moved. She was so passive, so quiet. But nobody messed with her Jacob. Nobody. And then she turned on her heel and ran off to find Jacob.

  • Dew dropped her smile and her expression rather soft neutral now, tho her ears flat on her head and her tail flicking from side to side. She looked after Jacob, he really too it hard. "Why would someone go out of their way, just to hurt someone else. For no reason...?"
