  • little more than over an hour has passed since chica appeared in the sanctuary's territory, and now that all of the melodrama (the drama that she created, no less) has subsided, she dares to take jelloshots away from her annoyed clanmates, wishing for a one-on-one conversation with her newly-founded daughter where others cannot lend an ear. and so her travels take her to a foggy atmosphere, where the grass turns mucky underfoot, and water churns between her toes. the marshlands of course, is where she brings her daughter. she is unaware of the danger here, merely wanting to speak with jells someplace private, but she'll be damned if she lets anything happen to the other under her watch. her dusky ochre pelt blazes then to light up the dank atmosphere, harmless fires enveloping her fur and skin as she plops down onto the muddy ground, indifferent to the uncomfort. a shot of orange eyes focus on the hybrid, "so kid, how's life?"

Jello had followed her mother with ease really. The girl was struggling to not freak out, as she was afraid of water. The girl would jump up onto a log that was near her mother. Her wet paws a reminder of the land she was in. Her ears perked as her mother spoke. How was life? "Life is dull, to be honest. How have you been?" She replied with a slight wave of her lion tail. The dangers in the swamp made her nervous and she was scanning the waters for trouble.

  • ah, fear, what a shitty feeling. water doesnt get to chica like that. really, nothing does except for maybe feeling powerless. helpless against whatever the world would throw at her. she's been in situations like that, believe it or not, and its.. not something she wants to experience again. ever. how have you been? "shitty, what else?" her twist of dark humor encourages a bark of laughter from her, a rich, booming, and vibrant sound that spills from her jaws. she has lived a pretty shitty life, though. from her nearly fatal poisoning to her fiancé's death, is it any wonder at all that she behaves the way she does? reckless, one to not give a damn about her actions, one who doesnt care who those actions affect so long as she gets something out of it. yeah, yeah; she's a bitch, but what else is new? "mm..." a sigh escapes her in a long draw of breath, and amber eyes flutter shut as she brings herself to think, "hey, ya ever find anything out about yer other mom? uh.." shit, what was that crazy bitch's name again? "victoria. how's she?"

Fear. What a word. It was not her thing at all. She hated being afraid of water. She was struggling still to keep her nerves together. "I am sorry to hear that." She replied with a nervous sigh. Then she was asked about her other mother. Blinking, she shook her head. "To be honest, I don't know her ether." She admits with a chuckle.

  • "yeah well, not everything is rainbows and sunshine." she responds dismissively, swatting an ear at the conversation regarding how bad their lives are. no use dwelling on it, yeah? "really?" eyes widen a fraction as she digests what jello tells her, blatant disbelief present on her face. vic was more of a bastard than her yeah, but she always figured she'd do her damnedest to reconnect with her children, just like chica has.

a frown pulling at her lips, an audible tsk escapes her, followed by a mere remark, "should've figured." damn hoe's heart is as cold as ice, there is no way in hell she ever bothered to look for jelloshots, and chicagocrimes doesnt hesitate to say so, "tori never was the motherly type, y'know. i wouldnt be surprised if she even remembers yer name." her large head shakes from side to side, silently shaming a woman not present in her actions.

"Nothing can be rainbows and sunshine all the time. I don't trust the moments that are to be honest." She replied with a slight chuckle. Her eyes drifting from the water to her mother. Looking away from the water was the hardest thing she had ever had to do. Ever. "Yeah but I am not gonna dwell on it." She admits with a shrug. She noted the disbelief on the females face and tilted her head a bit. She had only known one parent, and that was Chica. Jello never bothered to track down ether one. Though she hoped they would hunt for her.

An ear twitched at the tsk. Jello was a bit surprised at the next part. "Really? She wouldn't remember my name?" She asked in shock. That part hurt a little bit, but Jello didn't show it. "That's okay. You came to find me. That means the world to me."

  • chica has never been the type to sugar coat anything. she's blunt and to the point, dealing out the facts and letting everyone else stress over it. "tori was very unstable. if she cant remember me, she won't remember you." chica and her were even an item for a little while, for christ's sake!

at the next comment, the girl blinks once, twice in succession. "kid, I thought you were dead. I didn't know you were going to be here, it was just luck." okay, that's not what any child ever wants to hear from their parent, but chica isn't going to feed her fantasies. she's going to tell her how it is and even if that's harsh, so be it. she isn't a friggin saint, and she won't act like she is.

This made the girl frown and she looked away. She couldn't be mad at that though. After all, it was her fault she was even here. "I can understand that. It was my fault anyways. I shouldn't have wandered off." She admits with a soft sigh. She loved her family ether way.

  • chica watches the girl through slitted eyes, lips pursing in thought. hell, does she beat herself up over that shit or something? when she was a little shithead, she ran off into every clans territory that she could come across, ranging from the exiles and shadowclan to the knights and riverclan. sadly, she didn't have a mother to worry over her for it, so she got her ass beat more times than she likes to admit, "mm, don't worry kiddo, ya ain't the first one and ya def ain't the last."

Jello shifted a bit and blinked her pale blue optics. The little white and silver creature in her mane becoming exposed for a moment as she did so. The girl would then offer a bright smile. "Kids are a pawful, after all. It is kinda what we do." She laughed a bit before looking out at the waters. "So, you must be one hell of a fighter, no?" She wanted to change the topic, and this was her attempt.
