He'd heard a lot about the Exiles, though honestly, what he had heard wasn't impressive. Yes, those tales of old Exiles strength were contrasted to what he heard today of how they were floundering with troubles, lumped together with the rest of the other struggling groups out there. Zedekiah had never heard the name of the Exiles said with fear.
So why was he here then? The albino wolf stood at the borders, looking honestly bored. He was a strange sight at the border, pale like a hungry red eyed ghost, with his black scarf about his shoulders. The only movement from him was from the wind tugging at his scarf or the one glance he gave over his shoulder to check if the others were following him.

So why were they there? Well, deep down, Alcibiades always wanted to return to this shithole. Honestly, when he lived her a few moons back, his existence was miserable and plagued with self doubt. He left after a month or so and began to wander again, and his travels were what hardened his soul, not life in the Exiles. But even with this place stinking higher than hell, the male always found himself at the border again. There was just something so attractive about stable life in an extremely free society with shit reputation aside.
Approaching after the paler wolf, the snapback wearing canine would yawn as he pulled to a stop at the familiar border. It was quiet, he guessed that border patrols became less commonplaced as membership levels dropped. Understandable, but he wasn't going to wait here forever. If it took too long, Alcibiades had no qualms about strolling over the border and hustling his fam into the unfamiliar camp. But that was all up to their alpha. "Ayyeeoooo, where you faggots at?" The canine would call out despite his own sexuality.DON'T LEAVE ME TONGUE TIED

CAUSE I AM, I AM A LITTLE WICKED ・゚✧ Thick, defined muscles rippled beneath the tawny fur of the beast as she hade her approach, show-cropped ears angled sharply forward to catch any sight or sound that made its presence as the gang arrived one by one at the border. "That's one way to inquire." She mused evenly, amusement lighting up her features as she drew up to a halt beside their alpha. The Exiles, once a great dynasty wrought to table scraps, a handful members, and apparently a fucking mini mall. Really? Because you know, a mall was a practical and threatening place to reside. Jesus christ shit had grown weird here. No matter, she had her gang and truly that's all she needed, even if clanmates might be actually useful.
Sitting down the doberman then tilted her head, her rose eyes observing the vast expanse of territory that stretched past where they resided. Huh, it reminded her of how the Sanctum had seemed before she kicked that shit into gear so she could step down. You see Duchess hadn't really wanted to raise her desires in such a heavily guarded place. Under the careful, stoic watch of Herthe it was hard to anything past basic shifts in rank and tradition. Such a stingey goddess, as caring as she'd been it'd been almost overbearing. She didn't handle well with a non-tangible leadership, for someone to have a presence made the difference for the miss.TAGS -
Hexer was the last to approach behind his pack members, purple gaze drifting slowly over the area with a frown upon his face. This.. wasn't very impressive. When he'd heard the name of this group, 'The Exiles', he'd expected something a little more threatening but this... this was a fucking mall. He was definitely glad the territory wasn't too scary, but honestly, they could have done better. Like... like a spooky forest or something. That was hella creepy, wasn't it? A little generic, but it worked. Oh well.
The bulky hybrid would give a huff at what lay before them, positioning himself so he stood slightly behind the rest of the group. "Are you sure this is the right place?" The canine would speak up briefly, ears flattening slightly. It was so empty, did anyone even live here? "It doesn't really look like 'The Exiles'..." Looked a lot more like somewhere rebellious teens would complain and smoke weed in than the camp of a fiercesome clan. That was all he could think about right now, he didn't really have anything else to go on with this place other than it's name and appearance. -
and this chaos, it defies imagination An ear flicked slightly at Alcibiades' remark. But it was true, where were they at? The albino lifted his chin slightly as he scanned the border, his lips curling with slight distaste. Glancing over towards Hexer, Zed shrugged. "Looks like we'll find out soon enough," the wolf remarked as he casually stepped over the border. "If they ever show up."
He tossed a glance over his shoulder, jerking his chin towards the mall. If no one was there to invite them in, Zed would invite themselves in. It wasn't likely that they would throw up a resistance, considering what he had heard of the Exiles' current state. "Let's go."tags -

CROWNEDCHAOS CRYAOTIC❝ IM WAKING UP TO ASH AND DUST❞
There were too few of us to be everywhere at once, as much as it sucked to admit it. I still wasn't sold on this place, and I'd made a point to bring it up to Morbidrealities that the entire place was practically glass- all it would take is one raiding party to come armed with bricks and we'd be cutting our paws for the next 6 months trying to clean it up. The only real option was to board up a majority of the windows, leaving gaps for lookouts. That shit was tiring work for a single person though, and I'd retired to the roof of the mall to relax for a few.
Most people had claimed stores in the mall for dens, but I wasn't comfortable sleeping in such a confined space. Or more likely, I wasn't comfortable sleeping around clan animals, weather they were exilers or not. So, I'd claimed the rooftop for myself, along with the back stairwell that led up to it (just in case it rained or the weather turned) and one of the best things about being on the roof was that I had a damn good view of the open grassland the sloped away from the hill our mall was on.
Which meant I had a damn good view of the dogpack that had just crossed into our border.
"Man, I can't get a fucking break, can I?" I'd growl, getting to my feet.
Things had been.. complicated for me on the social front, lately. You see, the problem was that I hated everyone, and yet there was still this part of me that was trying to connect, that was looking for reasons to let my guard down. And that was insane, because who were these people? Fucking killers. Psychopaths. Losers of the world that had come here because it was the only place that would let them hate the world as much as the world hated them. And I shouldn't want to connect with any of them. Not in the fucking least.
The building was old and worn, and I was young and fit enough to have learned to navigate down the many faces of it's walls. Soon I was making my way toward them across the clearing, pace unrushed but blue eyes narrowed. "If your here to join, say so." I'd call as I neared, and while my tone was mostly neutral there was a warning in it that lingered in my gaze as well. Small and falling apart or not this was still The Exiles and they had no reason to be trespassing. If they were here to join then whatever, I could overlook something like crossing the border- I wouldn't want to wait out there forever either. But if they were just being bold for the sake of being bold thinking that as a pack they could wander wherever they liked free of consequence... well, alone or not, I'd leave them all with a few scars to remember me by before I went down, and what I didn't finish those in the mall would.

FEELING YOUR COLD DEAD EYES, STEALING THE LIFE OF MINE
"For your sssake, i hope you are joining." The basilisk was heard before he was seen. As he slithered out into view of the others, he eyed them coldly. "Thisss iss the Exilesss." He warned with an amused flick of his tongue. He was wolf sized, for the moment, but he was not going to stay small forever. He was not going to stay this calm for long if they were here for trouble.

CAUSE I AM, I AM A LITTLE WICKED ・゚✧ As soon as Zed gave the word the doberman acted on impulse, her rose eyes narrowed against the depressive state of th presumably once great clan. Oh how far they'd fallen, as the leopard and the snake made their approach the dog angled her show-cropped ears forward. Christ, it was like a broken record playing over and over. Such redundancy was surely a waste of fucking breath. "We're here to join." The canine rumbled evenly, her words lilting due to her rather heavy and conspicuous accent. Coiling up and around the bicep of her foreleg was a primarily pink bush viper, that of whom was likely leaving their hiding spot somewhere along her collar or back leg to get a peak at what exactly was going on. Duchess seemed to pay no heed to their appearance displaying this was likely a normal occurrence.

CROWNEDCHAOS CRYAOTIC❝ IM WAKING UP TO ASH AND DUST❞
No fight for today then, it seemed. Oh well. There was always someone else. Unfortunately. "Welcome to The Exiles, then. You can call me Cryaotic, I'm a Sentry here." I'd say, offering a brief nod of greeting to the odd foursome. "There are empty stores in the mall you can claim for dens, but if you prefer the outdoors like some of us you can settle wherever you want, as long as it's not already claimed." Not unless they wanted a fight on their hands.

The rest of the fam handled everything so there was no need for him to talk until the sentry spoke about the fucking sad sack of shit mall they lived in. "Sounds just dandy," the canine would remark though his deadpanned expression begged to differ. How nasty was the inside of the place? Surely the good stores were all take and the shit inside was probably all jacked too. Looted and gutted, there was probably nothing left for him. "Alcibiades," the pale golden canine would then add as he glanced back at the dismal building that he could faintly see in the distance. He'll get a move on whenever the alpha was done fucking around with formalities.

and this chaos, it defies imagination The first taste of the Exiles came in the form of the spotted feline. The albino lifted his gaze from the Mall to Cryaotic. "If someone says they're here to join at the border, but no Exiles is there to hear it, does it make the joining valid?" he commented, tilting his head slightly. It was the smartest course of action to just head in, since their intentions were purely to join. Zedekiah was not going to waste his time there.
Zed did not even deign to answer the snake with words, merely giving Benji a quick dismissive glance before his attention went back to Cryaotic. Yes, thanks for repeating the obvious--if he was the expression of the Exiles' average intelligence level, it wasn't a surprise that they were in ruins at the moment. They knew it was the Exiles before they came here--why else would they be here? No need to say it again, as if the name meant something now. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Cryaotic. My name is Zed," he answered coolly.tags
