Ah, what a wonderful day to roll around. This would be one of the first major Clans he himself had been in contact with in a very long, long time. Gilbert had long retired from most things--the last group he recalled in being was in ScarClan. After that was death, reincarnation, some memory loss--and then he had the good grace of finding Aima again. The universe was not so random as most people would put it.
"Mhmm, what do you think it's like living up in the clouds, babe?" Gilbert offered towards his two companions as he stopped to view the mountains up ahead. Tall jagged peaks, like stony teeth reaching up into the sky. If they were actual teeth, must be some big ass creature there. So that was where WindClan lived now? Wow, things had certainly changed for the Clan that enjoyed fucking around on the flat plains. Now their place was far from flat.

GLORY AND GORE GO HAND IN HAND ・゚✧ Thick muscles coiled like adders beneath the jet fur of the lioness, striking forward with every casual step she took alongside her beloved. Her golden eyes shifted over the horizon for a long moment as she loped along taking quiet note of how things have changed. Like her husband it'd been a long time since she'd been around to see one of the major clans. Life and duty got in the way one could say and she had to take her leave for a while, it was by fate she was sure that she'd run into Gilbert oncemore. After being reunited it was rare to see her far from his side, life was too short not to enjoy the presence of those you loved. "A tad on the chilly side, but beautiful I'm sure." She had never been one to shy from vanity, pretty things were a favorite of her's, even if those things happened to be massive expanses of land.
"What about you love? What do you think it's like living up in the clouds?" He himself reminded her of a cloud, his fur was pale and his eyes resembled the scarlet that painted the sky right before night and in the early mornings. In the martriarch's opinion that much made him very easy on the eyes, a bonus to the otherwise dedicated and loving relationship. Score.TAGS -
among the list of things that ruben did not like was couples. especially couples like the two before him, who made him wish he'd stayed in his box instead of venturing out. the closest he'd ever gotten to love was a very strong hatred, which he'd imagined was rather similar to the feeling. "could you two be any more affectionate? i'm kind of doubting your relationship right now." he mumbled, smoldering amber gaze narrowed as he gazed at the pair. he attempted to wipe the irritated expression from his features as he drew closer, replacing them with a rather forced half-smile. "welcome to windclan how can we help you." he called, louder this time, choosing to pretend his initial comment had never gotten past his lips. he'd said it rather quietly, after all, and he wouldn't want trouble with two much larger creatures

If Kate was going to be honest, the sight of the couple being so sugary sweet seemed to make her feel jealous in the pit of her heart. Her own marriage was the farthest thing from perfect, and she was fairly certain the only reason her husband said sweet things to her on occasion was to keep her around and nothing more. It wouldn't be nice for the advisor to be jealous however, and especially not to outright voice or express it, so she would push the feeling down and welcome in the other feeling bubbling inside her; excitement to meet new people. The sheltie came to stand beside Ruben, tilting her head slightly to the side as she observed Gilbert and Aima with a smile.
"Would you mind if I asked what your names are? You look like a very interesting pair." she'd request, genuinely curious. "I'm Kate, by the way. It's nice to meet you."

Honestly, Maegor wasn't sure why he was following this old timey couple around. Maybe it was a kink of his? He wouldn't fucking know for sure, but considering how ill he was in the head, it probably was. The scarcely maned lion would not speak as he trailed after 'mom' and 'dad', half because he didn't care to talk at the moment and half because he was wearing a bright red ball gag. He found the funny looking human object and decided to add it to his look for a while, it looked pretty funny didn't it?
Glancing at the mountains the larger lions were marveling at, Maegor's seafoam eyes quickly wandered away from them. They were just mountains, nothing spectacular. Shifting his attention to the two approaching Windclanners, again, the pale golden lion would not speak considering the ball gag prevented him from doing so. Instead of doing the proper shit, he entertained himself by periodically chewing the red plastic ball that was fastened into his mouth by the strip of black leather.I GOT A FEVER FOR THE VIOLENT BEHAVIOR

i'm gonna sell this soul of mine Chilly? Just chilly? "Too cold for my ass," he commented with a small chuckle towards Aima, turning his head to grin at her, pale eyes bright with amusement. Look at the snow up there--it was summer and there was still white on the mountains. It must be fucking freezing. An ear twitched as he heard someone else approaching them--two people. The first one, Gil was sure that he saw their lips move so they must've said something earlier, but he couldn't hear that. Ah, then, the general welcome. Same as it always had been. "You can help me by telling me if us three could visit WindClan," the cave lion offered.
The other one asked them the name. Ha, well, that was both parts of the name and business! Gilbert allowed an easy smirk to cross his features. "I'm Gilbert, this hot mama next to me is Aima, and the one with the ball if Maegor. We're just babysitting him for now," he offered cheerily. -
Luke appeared next, looking over the slightly larger lions. Sure, they were bigger, but he had a larger mane. Ha. He was grateful his father was not around in WindClan, as he didn't take kindly to other male lions. Understandable. It was an instinct to become defensive when another male stepped into your territory. "No reason you three can't visit. Welcome to Windclan." He glanced over the three, lingering on the one with the ball stuck in his mouth. Whatever... "Uh, nice to meet you... I'm Luke Skywalker." He quickly looked back to Gilbert.

Kate couldn't help but look very uncomfortable as she noticed the third person approach with... well. That on his mouth. He wasn't going to... always wear that, was he? The canine would step back so she was standing behind the leader now, quickly turning her silver gaze towards Gilbert and Aima. They were an interesting group of people, weren't they? "Welcome" the female would murmur finally. "If there's anything I can get you guys, feel free to let me know." she'd add.

DEAD HEARTS — SAMANTHA BLACKWOOD
"SAM", BIOGRAPHY & PLOTTING THREAD
What an... interesting trio to seek shelter with WindClan. Sam shouldn't be so judgemental of them: StarClan knows how absolutely foolish she and her family must have looked when they first stumbled across WindClan. But it was hard to deny that Maegor was a stark contrast to the rather happy couple quietly discussing the clouds between them. "Babysitting him", Gilbert explained. Sam wasn't fond of the explanation, but chose to not comment on it and remain polite as she drew over after Twistedsister, earthen gaze flicking between the unfamiliar trio and offering a courteous smile as she neared, taking a seat closely alongside Kate as the sheltie eyed the odd third member. It was worth noting that all of them were some variation of lions: WindClan already had plenty, and it seemed they were adding even more. Then again, they said they were just visiting- how long were they intending on staying? They'd find out soon enough, Sam supposed. "Gilbert, Aima, and and Maegor." Sam repeated their names quietly to herself, lifting up a paw to adjust her thick scarf. The names, at least two of them, were familiar. "I'm Sam," the champagne lioness introduced herself softly, deciding against voicing one of her many questions about the strangers. "Welcome to WindClan."

GLORY AND GORE GO HAND IN HAND ・゚✧ So many strange faces, as well as one that was vaguely familiar, but in a sense of time passed. Perhaps as another name in another life or time. Turning her golden eyes onto Kate the huntress dipped her head in greeting, a pleasant smile gracing her maw. Despite Ruban being Ruban the beast saw now reason it wouldn't be a pleasant visit. "Alright so bloody freezing," the beastess would admit with amusement edging her tone, her fur fluffed up against the low, constant breeze. This did differ from her old stomping grounds in the desert, that was for sure. "We thank you for your hospitality." Aima hummed formally with a slight dip of her head.
