  • "Gather 'round for a bit of stress-relieving medical advice," shouted the Head of Medicine into the Solar City. His first, official Medic meeting.

I should have hosted this sooner.

The tiger supposed he'd have to also make a little get-together for them all sooner or later. After all, the plant guys had to stick together. And he wasn't any sort of Head of Medicine if he didn't know his own people.

Today's meeting was for everyone. It was simply a little presentation on stress relief, something which Rob and he supposed many others would need.

Dropping a woven basket on the cobblestone Rob looked through it to make sure all that he needed was there.

    Give aways.

He had little burlap bags filled with herbs for tea and all that jazz to give away tucked inside the basket.

Chamomile, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Valerian root...

  • I'M TAKING BACK MY FREEDOM

When Marina had first become a Sunclanner, she'd felt a bit of a draw towards the medical guild. In the time since, however, the nymph felt a calling elsewhere--the warfare guild, specifically. However, she was still torn. If she knew anything about medicine, perhaps her mind would change... but she couldn't get the images of her crushing loss in her first raid out of her mind. She needed to improve her fighting far more desperately than she needed to improve this. Still, she wasn't going to pass up an opportunity. The feline bounded over, offering Robespierre a wink as she perched in front of him. "Stress-relieving? Sounds handy! for anyone else, anyway. I've never been stressed in m,y life," she purred, blue eyes glittering. Perhaps she was telling the truth... and perhaps not. Either way, she seemed perfectly at ease at the moment, but she eyed the herbs displayed in front of the medic with great interest nonetheless.

  • Nmik was a fairly decent medic, she knew what herbs helped what for the most part, and through the Force she had the ability to accelerate healing, if she had the energy and concentration required. She had just held a class for her weekly task a couple days ago, so it was nice to listen in on one now. "Good afternoon Lord Rob." That sounded incredibly awkward, but that was the Clan's customs. Whatever.

  • Nomes interest was peaked by the smell of chamomile and lavender, she loved tea. As she approached she heard Rob call out. Stress relief? Nome wasn't normally stressed but maybe Pallis could use it, though. She could surprise him one night and make it for her friend. So it was with curiousity that Nome approached the small group, her tail in its normal curled up position and her ears shoved forward. The dog wasn't normally shy but she was quiet here, ready to learn. Oh, lord, she had so much to learn! She had only recently joined the medicine guild so there was still so much she didn't know, but Nome was a fast learner.

  • Commander Arcanium already knew all about medicinal stress relief, but it was rare for the tom to apply it to himself. Even though he'd been a healer for pretty much his entire life, he'd always forgotten that not only could he heal his clan-mates, but himself as well. He took this chance, this medical training event, to attempt tp refresh his mind on the subject and hopefully get something out of it. With the things on his mind right now, he had doubts that it would help much, but it was worth a try. Suga sat next to his apprentice after giving each of them a short nod of a greeting and then placed his golden-red eyes upon the Medic in wait.

  • Having attended Alba's training recently and created her own little herb garden inside her apartment, the young kitsune was no stranger to working with herbs. But she did not study them for mental relaxation, of all things. So, taking a seat next to Suga, she swept her fluffy tail around her dainty paws, waiting for the training to kick off.

Rosary's newly found sense of purpose had driven her to join the medicine guild, though it had also found her deeper in the library versus picking the brains of more experienced healers. The kitsune-hyrbid had been on the way there when she'd heard Robespierre's announcement about stress-relief. Knowing that he was the Head of Medicine, and that any medicine training was good training at this point, Rosary headed that way. She took a seat next to Azazel, giving her sister and her father a smile in greeting before turning her attention back to the tiger before them.

  • Lord Rob. The title she found perplexing as she arrived, walking in her ink black lioness form. White pupiled eyes were latched on to the male that had called for this stress relieving type of medical training. Hmm, well she would have to say that she was never one for being stressed. No, she dealt with her problems in a more simple manner and that was usually with getting rid of the problem before it spread and became a disease. The lioness approached then, eyes other only real part of her face that was visible for the time being and she settled down among the crowd. Her tail swayed lightly back and forth, eyes narrowing just a bit on the sack which had a multitude of smells floating from it. A bit overpower she thought but then again most things were for her senses. "Do tell how these...plants help with stress relief."

  • Looking towards Marine Rob sent her a smile, "Then you haven't lived~," spoke the male with a smirk in reference to her stress-free way of life. He wished he could stay stress-free but with all the political mumbo-jumbo and such Rob just couldn't find the time for anything, let alone relieve his own stress.

    Lord Rob.

Osiris, titles. The only person he bothered calling by their true title had been Suga. Glancing towards the coyote Rob dipped his head in greeting. Knowing that she'd held a medical training session just a short while ago was enough to make Rob curious on what she'd be doing in the future. They certainly hadn't bonded enough despite their shared Guild.

Seeing the others join Rob sent a quick acknowledgment their way. Well, at least people had shone up.

Seeing an unfamiliar face join them the Head of Medicine let out a small laugh, "Magic~," he spoke quietly with a joking flick of his white tail. Sometimes healing seemed like magic, after all he didn't have the knowledge of what chemicals did what within the body, just the knowledge of what worked.

"So, this is going to be a basic class on stress, anxiety, and all that jazz with herbs everyone should be familiar with so it'll be easy to remember," spoke Rob over the gathering crowd. Picking up a dried bundle of chamomile Robespierre held it up to let the others see. "Chamomile," he started as a few petals fell to the floor, "-makes a nice tea but also helps with stomach problems, skin irritations, and relieving anxiety. A go-to for our stressed high positions, aka me, if they ever need a pick-me-up," said the tiger, afterwards looking towards the crowd to see if they needed anymore explanation, "You usually take it in tea form but just eating it or making a pulp out of it and applying it just about anywhere would be fine," spoke the male with as he reminisced on the teas his mentor Morrigan used to make.

  • theo daremo-uenm-ongnyen ☆

Theo didn't know anyone who had gathered all too closely, so she just decided it would be best to sit next to Suga. Theo offered a respectful dip of her head to the Commander. Her dream-catcher swung lightly with the movement, and the lioness glanced at it briefly with her heterochromatic eyes before turning her attention towards Rob. Out of all the three guilds, Theo was interested only in two, and medicine wasn't one of them. Yet, it seemed that warriors and, like Rob had said, high positions seemed to get stress and anxious a lot. Who knows where the lioness might be in a year? She could need these. With this in mind, she payed close attention.

  • Giving Rosary a grin back in return, the dark foxy turned her golden gaze back to the head healer leading the training. The tea thing itself seemed reasonable - she knew that sometimes tea was the best way to get someone to eat herbs they needed, so it seemed to be just another use case for the same tool. "What makes for a good sleep aid?" she asked, her head cocking to the right as she asked, curiously.
