  • Just wondering is this still open to be joined, and if so, are there any stipulations on the character? Such as race, skills, backgrounds, whether or not there are multiple dragonborn, where in the roleplay you guys are, whether the roleplay is still active, etc.?

I just want to verify real quick before I go and spend like 3 hours on making a character because I tend to get a bit carried away... xD

  • The RP thread has been a bit still, but I don't mind having more than one Dovahkiin, and I'm not requiring skills to be stated in the forum. Go with whatever race and background you want, buddy!

Name: L'lana the Crimson (Goes by Lilith)

    Age: 21

    Race: Khajiit

    Gender: Female

    Sexuality: Bisexual

Personality (optional): L'lana is very outspoken about her opinions. When she feels a certain way about a topic or situation, she lets everyone around her very clearly understand her stance on things. Equally as honest is her ability to completely miss a point, phrase, or saying. Due to her rather naive nature it takes a little while for nuanced things to sink into her mind and take root. In one situation the rather brash Khajiit may give a heartwarming, moving speech about a topic, and on the other hand she might be clueless, asking the stupidest questions.

That part of her personality contrasts very differently with another part of her. Sometimes L'lana is a bit... too honest with her feelings. She's prone to unknowingly say the wrong things at the wrong times. She's equally vulnerable to outbursts of rage should something anger her enough.

All in all, L'lana has terrible control over her emotions despite meaning well most of the time. One thing she has overtime come to hold very dear is a sense of honor to which she tries to uphold. She does her best to be a kind person to those that are kind to her, but well... She's not the most socially adept tool in the shed.

History (optional): L'lana is a native Khajiit of Elseweyr where she was raised in lavish luxury within the confines of her clan's city-state. As one of the Aldmeri Dominion's largest allies in Elseweyr in their quest to destabilize the Empire, her clan held quite a position of importance. Not only that, but the upper sect of her family were avid worshipers of Hircine. As such she herself was a Werewolf

L'lana herself was essentially a princess in standing if not by name. When an Aldmeri formal party was held in the Summerset isles, she was one of the few who were invited from Elseweyr. As such dealing with Altmer racism was a common factor she had to deal with growing up from a very young age, and it shaped her to have a great dislike for them. While not all Altmer looked down upon the Khajiit, enough did that it eventually got to her.

At the age of around sixteen, after dealing with years of Altmer oppression despite her family standing, L'lana could stand no more. During a rather important gathering with several Altmer nobles and Thalmor officials, L'lana had begun to get insulted by several of the nobles for being a Khajiit once more. They talked about her being nothing more than a beast in clothing and how they didn't understand why Elsweyr was even part of the Dominion again.

L'lana snapped, unsheathing her claws and going for the throat of the nearest Altmer noble who's tongue moments before had struck at her with vile words. Blood splattered across her visage as she went from one noble to the next with catlike reflexes. Her father who had also attended the meeting could only stare in disbelief as his daughter tore through the High Elves like a monster.

It wasn't long before spells had begun to be cast at her, forcing her to retreat. The journey back to Elsweyr was an arduous task indeed, but eventually she made it back. Word has spread about what she had done however. The people of Elsweyr had dubbed her L'lana the Crimson. Some revered her as a hero against Altmer oppression. Others viewed her as a vile murderer that had only weakened relations between the Summerset Isles and Elsweyr.

L'lana knew she could not return to her clan for the Thalmor would likely be waiting to arrest her, so instead she camped in the distant woods far away from civilization so she might gather her thoughts. That would be interrupted however by the Daedric Prince Hircine himself. He applauded her talent, but was disappointed with her lack of honor in taking her prey. To give her a chance at redemption, Hircine directed her towards Skyrim. The Daedric prince simply stated that the greatest hunt of her life was to begin there should she be up to the task, calling her Dovahkiin before disappearing.

L'lana knew not what Hircine had been referring to, but she was ready to serve her Daedric Lord. An opportunity to prove herself in the hunt was exactly what the Khajiit needed after the catastrophe in the Summerset Isles. With haste she set off towards Skyrim with little more than a note delivered to her father saying she was pursuing Hircine's wiil.

Other: If it didn't come across in the history, she's a werewolf and also will find out eventually that she's Dragonborn.

  • That sounds awesome! I'm sure L'lana will appreciate another Khajiit around her since her self-imposed exile from Elsweyr. I can only imagine that Skyrim must seem devoid of the lively nature her people possess haha. Especially since Kenai can relate to her eventually struggle as Dragonborn!

    Also first post done!

  • Well, we're on our way to Riverwood, but I don't think we should dally too long in there, since there are others in or heading to Whiterun. So BASICALLY what I'm saying is we prolly all just gonna follow the trail and go through the motions 'till Whiterun. After retrieving the Dragonstone quest from Balgruuf and his court wizard we could do a better exploration n stuff of Riverwood, when more of us are incorporated into main plot. You could wait until there's points for plot development to respond, or just chit chat with the others as we go along
