not naturally talented but tries their best. tries to sound smart.

likes to have fun. really nice kid. confident.

goofy and funny. mischievous, and a bit of a trickster.

actually really insecure because they're salty about talented people not having to work hard at all. just wants to be helpful and not a complete failure.

self hatred.

body completely made of shadows, and highly unstable. contact with a solid object would cause their body to break apart, but they will form together again quickly. species is shadowhound, a cross between a shadowhound (grim) or a hellhound.

appearance: (copy pasted) Though they may appear to have a solid form from a distance, their body is, in reality, completely made of shadows. Glasspaw's constantly shifting form resembles a canine on the smaller side, with a skinny torso and stronger limbs. The shadows on their body seem to almost melt into their surroundings and sometimes even detach as if they were shedding their fur. They are extremely fragile due to being only half shadowhound, and if their body makes contact with a solid object, they will break into many separate parts and form together again elsewhere. Basically, they are unable to touch or be touched, which poses a bit of a problem. Instead of walking normally, they hover inches off the ground instead, as touching solid earth would likely cause them to break apart. Glasspaw's facial features are barely noticeable, which is why they are often assumed to be cold and emotionless. However, their eyes are a very noticeable bright yellow.

[fancypost='margin: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; borderwidth=0px; width: 50%; font-size:12px;']after a while of lazing around in the shade, glasspaw began to feel a little... well, 'tired', in the least physical sense of the word. it was more like they were bored of metaphorically sitting around, doing absolutely nothing but existing, like they always did. they wanted to get out, do something, meet someone, not stay the complete loser they've always been. a slight ruckus from somewhere nearby startled them, and they looked into the colorful eyes of a confused-looking stranger. that was damn great timing, if they did say so themselves. glasspaw floated forward, the shadows of their form shifting rapidly as a result of their... excitement. yes, that was what it's called. [i][color=#877769][b]you look quite alarmed,[/b][/color][/i] the hellshadow observed, their expression seemingly neutral. hopefully, the mental message they had broadcasted would get through to the female, but since this was their first time testing it out, they didn't count on it. [i][color=#877769][b]er, my apologies.[/b][/color][/i] the shadows on glasspaw's body calmed down a bit, and their ears were able to pick up what the feline said.

"in a free hour, when our power of choice is untrammelled and when nothing prevents our being able to do what we like best, every pleasure is to be welcomed and every pain avoided." but in certain circumstances and owing to the claims of duty or the obligations of business it will frequently occur that pleasures have to be repudiated and annoyances accepted. the wise man therefore always holds in these matters to this principle of selection: he rejects pleasures to secure other greater pleasures, or else he endures pains to avoid worse pains.
