  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Valeria had never been to the beach before. She had seen the rainforest, the desert, the mountains, any possible landform, but the ocean had been a mystery for a while. Her intense goldenrod gaze mixed with the frothing blue, and the sea foam gurgled within her eyes. On the wind, the scent of sea salt fluttered, and as she opened her mouth, the smell settled upon her tongue and gave her a taste of the sea. From the Town of Litore behind her, voice fluttered upon the breeze and lapped against her ears like the tides of the water. The methodical sound of waves against the wet sand soothed her and mystified her into a stupor that calmed much of the noise in her head. Briefly, she wondered what would have happened if she and her mother could have experienced this ephemeral moment together. The sand almost seemed to smile and nod at her as she dropped her leather bag to the soft, plush grains.

The ocean licked at her paw. Feeling the fur on her paw dampen, Valeria glanced down, her expression stony. As the water pooled around her creamy white paws, the blackened tabby cat her gaze out to the distant horizon. The thoughts bounced around in her head for a few moments, the sinking sun calling to her. The wind began to pick up until it whipped around her, pushing her forward and forward, until the calm waters had reached her chest. Red had begun to bleed over the sea until the blue had become purple, so that the yellow of her gaze was lost in its darkened depths. The forest whispered from behind her, rumors and secrets passed from leaf to leaf. A cacophony of sound erupted in her mind and bled into the world around her, infecting everything she had once loved about the picturesque scene.

The noise stopped. The water calmed. The wind stilled. She stepped back and the sea receded back to its home and stared at her. Nearing her bag, she flipped open the sundried leather and batted out a clear, obscure bottle. From its bottle, she lapped out a dark substance and licked her lips.

  • The golden-pierced tom had just returned from a hunt, the blood of his victim still staining his jaws as he laid his eyes on the trespasser. He was all the way across the beach, and sure she couldn't see him, so he watched. The strange female seemed to be mesmerized by the ocean, almost as if it was her first time seeing it. Maybe it was, but still, why was she seeing it on their territory? He took slow paw steps forward, sure to keep a close eye on her movements. There was no stopping the paranoid theories that danced in his head, but it wasn't long before he was closely approaching the other. "I'm Suga Arcanium, the Commander of SunClan, who's territory you're standing on," He said with a blank tone, three tails waving patiently, "And who are you? What brings you to our land?"

[ yes wow my rp style can not compare!! anyway, welcome to sunclan! i hope you & val find it enjoyable here ~ if you have any questions, my pms are always open :3 ]

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — The deep chestnut liquid that flowed from the opaque bottle soon ran dry, all of it now embedded deep within the stomach of pitch colored tabby. Her rosebud pink tongue appeared from behind her pink and lapped up anymore of the bitter taste that still lingered on her lips, just as she was placing the bottle back where it belonged, in her leather carrier. The taste still burned deep in her stomach and the residue in her throat seemed to almost choke her, but she relished in the feeling, not in the taste. Before long, she wouldn't even remember standing on the edge, watching the ocean pull her deeper. All she would remember would be the pounding of her head and the sunlight in her eyes.

She turned steadily, her chrome gaze landing on the lithe figure of Suga. He seemed a ghost, his presence quiet and his fur a deathly pale, with the only splashes of color being the crimson staining his jaws and swirls of dark pink adorning his flank. If Valentina had been weaker in mind or lily-livered, she would have been over the hills by now, but now, she stood her ground. She smiled easily, but her teeth seemed to quiver and her lips wavered. She was unstable, and her smile only highlighted the fact. "Greetings and Salutations, Suga Arcanium," she spoke, her voice airy and far-off, as if it had escaped to a separate reality. "Heard of this place and figured I needed a change of pace. Call me V, I was hoping Sunclan had an open policy for people like me."

V kept her words painfully vague, offering little to no context for many of the peculiar things that flowed from her tongue. Perhaps she intended to keep much of it a mystery, for it seemed she kept her reasons guarded and close to her heart, or whatever still pumped in her chest. Her smile wavered again and she licked her lips once more, casting a forlorn glance to her leather bag. She regretfully mounted it upon her shoulders.

[ aaaaa, thank you!! happy to be here <3 ]

  • Verona approached the scene shortly after Suga, offering her brother a shy smile before turning back to the newcomer. Their names were fairly similar, both starting with V and ending with A. The champagne vixen studied Valentina with a cautious icy blue gaze. This joiner, judging by her expression and her voice, seemed rather distant. However, Verona would not comment on this out of courtesy.

"W-welcome t-to SunClan, V," She would greet the unfamiliar feline, "I a-am Verona Arcanium. F-feel free t-to ask if you h-have any q-questions or need a-anything." It seemed as if she was improving her social skills. There wasn't a huge difference, but she seemed visibly calmer.
