  • So this was where her family had originated?

Well, not here exactly. She knew that much, at least. SunClan hadn't always lived here, and they definitely hadn't lived here the last time her family had been here. But they had been in this clan. Amanda herself, she had never been a member of SunClan, but she'd heard tales of their former glory and, as it so seemed, their current return to power. She was a traveler, even at only eleven moons. From what she'd heard, these folk referred to her sort as loners. But they weren't, not by any means. They had friends and they met people along the road and Mandy certainly wouldn't count herself as a loner - she preferred the term wanderer.

Nimble deep red paws moved over the ground effortlessly, carrying her tabby body towards the borderline. In the glow of the afternoon setting sun, the girls red and white fur seemed to be golden. Cerulean eyes flickered over her surroundings. Many said she took after her grandmother - physically they were practically identical and for most of her life people had told her she had inherited her grandmother's confidence and spirit. Not that Amanda had ever gotten to meet her. For all of her life her mum's mother, Faunalife, had been MIA. Nobody seemed to know where she was. Faunalife had merely been a whispered name in the young woman's life, hanging around the edges as the lady that Mandy apparently got all her spunk from. It was the stories of her relative that had brought her here when she'd heard news of the clan's rising power. SunClan. Until now it was just another name, a part of her family's past that she knew little about.

The tabby figure came to a halt by the border, her head tilting to the side, a small smirk turning up the corners of her mouth. "So this is it..." The girl's thoughts came out aloud in a gentle hum, blue gaze flickering over the land. Not what she'd expected... but it was pretty. "So, hello then, SunClan." These words came out louder in a cheerful tone, her keen ears having already picked up on the sounds of people nearby. "Name's Amanda, but Mandy will do. Here to join." From what she'd heard that was all she needed to say, and unless they asked for more than that was what the red and white furred cat was giving them.

  • SARANGEREL ♥

Had Sarangerel been able to hear Amanda's thoughts, she would have considered them kindred spirits. The Goldenblood herself had only halted in her wandering a few moons prior - even their reasons for returning to clan lands was similar. Family heritage and stories. Sarangerel had sought her father, seeing as her mother had abandoned her and forced her to go it along. Though Nighttales was everything she had hoped for and more, the anti-clan orientation was not. Now she was in a pro-clan with someone she loved, there was little more to seek - it was the turn of someone else to do that.

"Hello, then, stranger." spoke Sarangerel, mirroring Amanda's tone as she approached the border. Dipping her head to the unfamiliar feline, the sylph nodded at Mandy's introduction and began her own.

"Welcome to SunClan, Mandy. My name is Sarangerel, but many shorten it to Saran or Sara." greeted the servaline, a warm smile rising on her lips.

"I hope you will enjoy you time here."

  • Like Amanda, his parents and their parents and their parents before him had all been born, raised, and died in SunClan, even himself. That was how they differed, of course, as he had known most of his family members, even if they died while he was young. Now, after all that time, he was SunClan's leader, and he had kids of his own to raise here. Although he didn't yet know of his new clan-mate's heritage, he would hope that she could continue her line here as well. "Welcome," Greeted the four-winged male as he took a stand next to his fiance, "I'm Suga Arcanium, SunClan's Commander. Just through those gates behind us is Solar City, our capitol. You can find a home there to claim and sleep in, and you can join and train in either, any, or none if you choose, of our three guilds, Medicine, Commune, and Warfare."

  • The cerulean eyes of the feline had fallen upon the creature as soon as they appeared, her head curiously tilting slightly to the side. She was met by a smooth grey-blue fur and bright eyes. There were white angelic wings to go with it, a sweet voice and a welcoming smile. The girl before her was beautiful. With her red and fur and bright blue eyes, Amanda was striking. But as her gaze widened slightly and her smile spread, she could not deny that this SunClanner was a gorgeous creature. Mandy was appreciative of all things beautiful - some might call her vain for she admired her own looks too, but there was nothing wrong about loving the body you were born with.

Her smile matched the other's as her vibrant voice rang out. "Sara it is. It's a pleasure to meet you," the girl's head dipped respectfully. "I must say, you're rather beautiful." 'Rather beautiful?' She was more than that. Her blue gaze rose to meet the girl's violet accented eyes as she grinned. It was evident that the compliment was genuine. "Gee, talk about girl crush." A light laugh escaped from her mouth as she spoke the words. Heck, if she wasn't straight as all hell then she'd be totally up for taking her chances with the girl. "Pity I'm straight." Her words were joking, spoken more to clear up the fact that she was not hitting on the SunClanner more than anything else. Although really, she was just being honest.

The arrival of another had her blue eyes moving away from the feline. Her gaze once landed upon a creature that was striking and yet still... not a natural thing like she herself was. The creature before her was, like most were, larger than herself. It looked part feline and part fox - apart from the multiple tails and wing things. The stranger had a pair of golden eyes with red centers, a strange gaze that Amanda met with her warm smile. These SunClanners were evidently not the usual sort of creatures. But hell, she had to hand it to them - they looked pretty good.

"Lovely to meet you, Suga. Thank you for your welcome," alas, it was the part on guilds which had her attention. "Are the guilds a new thing? I've heard quite a lot about SunClan's history - my family came from here. Is medicine an open rank now?" Healing was in her blood according to her mother. Her great-grandfather, Sabretooth/star, had been a healer. So had her uncle Darcy. Amanda had never met either of them, but the impression she got from her mother was that the rank had been a prestigious glory, not merely an open position. Offering a smile she gave a small shake of her head. "Sorry - full of questions over here." A light chuckle came with her words although she did not take back her query. She was curious. She'd come here to learn more, so why shouldn't she ask about the ranks her family members had held?

  • Fairy was the next to approach, a rather timid looking deer who nodded ever so slightly as she joined near Suga. "Welcome to SunClan," she would greet gently, giving a smile as she asked another few questions. Some, of which, she could answer- others she could not, not being an old member of SunClan herself. "I don't... know if it's open but Robespierre is the Head of Medicine." Fairy glanced to Suga briefly, knowing he would have better answers than she did, unfortunately. "My name is Fairylights," she added lightly- nearly forgetting the introduction all together. "It's nice to meet you."

  • Robin smiled, leaping over. She loved new joiners, since they signified that Sunclan was indeed growing. "Hello; I'm Robin, head of the Warfare guild," She spoke, and then looked at Fairylights, then back at Mandy. "The guilds are always open; anyone can join them. However, the guild heads, also known as Goldenbloods, are a high position, so they're not." She said, nodding.

  • Ahh, another joiner. There seemed to be quite a few of these in SunClan, though it wasn't surprising to Verona. They were a growing, thriving clan, which was a good thing, though this fact tended to make the girl slightly anxious. Larger groups and crowds were a bit scary to her, but if they were all her clanmates, perhaps it wouldn't be a problem. The vixen came to a halt near her peers, studying this newcomer with a small, shy grin making it's way onto her maw. "Welcome, Mandy. M-my name i-is Verona. I-I hope t-that you f-find SunClan t-to your l-liking."

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Sunclan was a clan of history. V too had heard the stories, fairytales upon the tongues of weary, age-old travelers, who whispered of the clan's glory days. They always told her how they shone like the sun back when they were so high, but V knew that they were merely an Icarus who went too far and came to close. These vagrants always had one thing in common; their grandparents or their parents or their aunts and uncles all came from the same place, and they were the only ones to break the trend. V could never understand how they managed to glorify a clan they had never been in, so she simply boiled it down to them only having an identity founded in those that passed before them. V pitied them. She could never imagine wanting to take after her father.

Perhaps that was why V looked upon this stranger with such disdain in her striking goldenrod gaze. She made no move to hide the glimmer of disappointment that shimmered within the saffron, and that little shimmer was the only thing of note in her guarded, protected eyes. The dark tabby was a small one and her body seemed almost hazed over, but her presence was large and her charm apparent, even as she made a show of separating herself from her clanmates. "Hello Mandy," she greeted smoothly, placing an easy smile upon her creamy maw. "You can call me V. Just a cog in the machine here, but I'm always willing to talk."

In the back of her mind, V secretly hoped no one would take her up on her offer.
