  • Morningcloud thought it was a perfect idea, to go hunting. She'd missed running after prey. Climbing trees... Oh yes. That sounded amazing. Without second thought she bolted out.

She didn't come very far before she stopped and panted, she was already tired. Well, no running after mice, it seemed. She looked around and spiked her ears up. She had no sense of smell. So she couldn't feel anything if they were close, but she looked up the tree... A bird. It was time to surprise it. She was pretty good at staying quiet so she jumped onto the tree, and decided to climb her way up.

Something stopped her half way, her leg just sat in a lock and she tried to push it out of it, it let out a huge crack, a painful one and her whole leg started to cramp up. she lost the grip of the tree and feel down, slamming her body down on the ground. She laid there for a while in pain and sighed to herself as the bird had flew away.
It was then it hit her..

"Morny.. You're getting too old, it seems. If not, just worn out.." She sighed and decided to lay there like a wounded animal. Running and climbing wasn't something her body could do much more it seemed. Was she really -that- old?! But she wanted her last joy before going away from being a warrior to an... ew.. Elder....

She sat up halted back to camp to sit there. "Maybe... Some kittens." she told pretty much herself.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Nymeria loved children, but she seemed to not remember any

of hers in her past life - none of them. But they were no longer connected

to her. She came from a different family that was alive, was there for her.

Most were in different clans, only her mother was apart of this clan. She

    wasn't active thou.

When she saw Morningcloud fall close by she ran over. "Are...Are you alright? Do

you need someone's aid?" She didn't say medic since there was none but she was

a former medic, so she knew how to help.

  • she hadn't seen what had happened, but it appeared now that Nym was making note of a rather injured looking elder. or well- what she had thought to be an elder. perhaps they weren't quite there yet. whatever the case though, it still sparked worry in Elsa over one of her new clanmates. it seemed like there was some sort of injury after all- considering the way Nym was acting.

"is everything okay? i would help- i really would love to, but i don't know how" the blonde maine coon would ask as she hustled over, instinctively making her way over in hopes of helping injuries. she had most certainly been through the worst after all when it came to injuries- and the injury she thought of wasn't even her own- but rather an injury her sister had gotten. which reminded her, she was supposed to be looking for her sister. oh well, it wasn't like her sister would be getting into too much trouble. surely she would have time to help this elder first.

  • Morningcloud looked at both of them that approached, with concern for her, it warmed her hear but she shook her head as an answer. "I'm fine, really. I just... I suppose I'm a bit out of shape. There will always be the time where you can no longer jump around like a kit." she chuckled, looking semi sad over what she said but then shinned up happily again. "I have a question for the two of you... How would you two feel for new kits in the clan?" She herself love the idea, the though of two small kits filled her heart with flattur, but she didn't wanna burned clanmates with something they might not be able to carry.

  • "kits?" Elsa would repeat, sounding rather shocked by the idea. it wasn't because she didn't like kits- they were alright she supposed. it was just the idea of someone being pregnant. was Morningcloud pregnant? no.. the other was too old, surely. or maybe she wasn't quite at that point. all the same though, it was a bit surprising to her. why would someone so old want kits? or maybe that was exactly why. because they were old. after all, it wasn't like elders had much to do. they couldn't quite hunt, and fighting in general was probably just out of the story. "perhaps kits would be a good thing" the female would continue, her blue gaze blinking curiously. maybe Morningcloud was going to get herself some kits. she wouldn't mind children running about, and her sister would probably love to have little kits to play with.

  • Morningcloud nodded again, she wasn't that old just yet... or well.. She sort of was. "I got my signs of me getting old, I won't be able to go on much longer with a lot of energy. I want my last joy, since I won't be able to enjoy what I do the most, hunting. And something to carry on my legency." She lowered her head to think for a moment before opening her mouth again to speak. "I was thinking, hopefully three. To send two of them off to an alliance clan."

"I'd feel more than happy, I love children" The border collie barked,

wagging her tail."It's a lot of work I was told. But you do what you want, I

would be happy playing around with them." She remarked, smiling.

  • "my sister would probably love to help raise them as well. i would offer myself up- but i'm afraid i'm not that great with hanging around kits myself. or well, i don't know how really" Elsa would respond as the other voiced her idea of having three kits. oh, send two off to an allied clan? but wouldn't the third be lonely without their kin? probably spoiled as well, since they would have the love of their mother whenever it was needed. and like Morningcloud had admitted herself- she would be around camp plenty so it was definitely likely the kit would grow on the elder. it still brought her curiosity though why someone would have kits just to give them away. wouldn't that.. like.. defeat the purpose in general of having kits?

I don't know when to stop.

Whenever he was intoxicated, there was always a chance that he'd have a drunken litter on his hands, if it wasn't something simple like a mass adoption to boost Clan activity. Now he was very cautious, but he knew that old habits never die. One day he'd just spiral into that old hellhole once again and be a father to a ton of kids, some in ThunderClan and a lot in other groups he'd never even visited before. But kids, he liked them. Really. He wanted to be a better father to a litter that'd hopefully stay in ThunderClan to adulthood and be a good role model, even if he was a demon that struggled to express simple emotions and constantly drank. He just wanted a family that'd stay with him.

"I'd love to see little kids running about," the canine remarked to the serval. "I'll try to keep 'em safe as well." Now for that nosy question. "But who'd be the father?" From her talk of an alliance Clan, he'd assume that an ally would be the other parent. But who knows? Maybe it'd be a solely ThunderClan litter. Or she could adopt.

  • Morningcloud seeming very happy with the support, and the help they were willing to give into it. If she got much worse, she'd probably need some help. "Thank you, everyone. It warms my heart hearing this for you all.." she sighed happily then offered Fl-.. Zjarr a nervous smile looking away for a moment to gather herself before looking back at him and just tenses her shoulder as if shrugging. "I suppose we got a problem there."

  • "I'll also be glad to add on to the support to you too, Morningcloud." Feliciano decided to say as he came over. He thought that having ThunderClan with kits would be a nice place indeed, since so far, it was currently filled in with adults, and apprentices as well, even elders, but so far, there's not much kits going about around. Thinking about it deeply, maybe it was alright to reveal it, that he too wanted kits himself.

Taking a deep breath, he was definitely going for it, and with ears folded and eyes looking away slightly, he spoke "My mate and I are also looking into the possibility of kits too, you know, since we both are near to the end of our apprenticeship." he paused at thaat, hearing about the problem with having a father for the kittens... "Maybe an alliance litter of sort could work? Or do you know someone around here, like a friend, that could serve as the father?"

  • "Adoption could also work if you don't wanna go through the hassle of finding a suitable parent," Zjarr chimed in after a bit of thought. Sure, it was different than having biological children, since their genetic conditions and personality traits would be unexpected, but it was still having a child. He adopted before, though not as frequent as actually having them, and he loved them no less than his own flesh and blood. In the end they were still an Ignibus...even if they weren't here now.

  • "ah yes of course- you could always go and adopt. there's always young children running about in need of parents anyways, so if you don't want to go through the stress of actually carrying your own, that could serve as a suitable option" Elsa would nod as the idea of option was placed onto the table. in the long run, it wasn't actually her decision, but it was probably one of the best ideas. especially since she wasn't too sure how safe it would be for someone so old to have a litter of their own. and she definitely didn't want any deaths coming out of what could have been a harmless litter.
