"Welcome, one and all...
To the one place we may call, in literal terms, hell.
Otherwise known as The Infurnus Dimension, it is an odd wormhole-like place that is sucking in species from all across space and time. How do they react? Intergalactic war. Obviously."

Name: The Masters
Age: Unknown, but it is possible that they have been around for millions of years as time flows differently in the Anteverse.
Species: Precursors
History: The Precursors are an alien race that colonizes planets from their homeworld in the Anteverse, consuming their resources before moving on to the next in a constant cycle. This process has been ongoing for perhaps billions of years, save for an unanticipated setback when their attack on Earth ended with their loss.
Tactics: The Precursors are masters of genetic engineering, and the culmination of their achievements are monstrous bio-weapons known as Kaiju, each individual designed for certain skills and strengths. The Kaiju are sent in successive waves of extermination of an indigenous population on a target planet for colonization.
The first wave consists of scouts, who begin clearing away the "pests". This wave is short-term, and often the cycle ends there. However, if the indigenous do find a way to retaliate, the second wave occurs, which is long-term and allows for the Precursors to learn the fighting style and weaknesses of their opponents so that they can create new Kaiju to counter-attack.
Homeworld: Anteverse
Hivemind/Leader: The supreme leader of the Precursors is unspecified.
Hivemind Personality: The Precursors appeared to be ambitious, ruthless, and power hungry in expanding their rule over other universes, similar to stereotypical alien invaders in fiction. They seemed to despise existence of other sentient beings, considering them as pests worthy for extermination.
Warriors: The Precursors use genetically engineered giant monsters known as Kaiju as living weapons. More information on these creatures can be found below.

The Kaiju ('Strange Beast' in Japanese) are the giant shock troops of the Precursors, highly toxic, incredibly strong, and capable of devastating cities in a matter of days - simply put, living disasters. The fact that such things can exist is frightening enough, but what is terrifying is their hivemind intelligence, a terribly clever trait given to them by their creators and masters.
Lesser Controllers: Cardinals, Bishops, and Ambassadors. Rank can be determined by the shape of their crown-like head protrusions.
Doomsday Devices/Racially Distinctive Abilities: The Precursors use oceanic portals that use energy from a planet's tectonic plates to connect the target dimension to the Anteverse.

Name: The Engineers
Age: No one knows, but it seems that humanity's last contact with them was around 2,000 years ago.
Species: Mundus gubernavi (Universal Pilot)
History: The Engineers are an advanced spacefaring civilization known primarily for their emphasis of genetic technology. They had a habit for traveling the universe and seeding barren planets with the beginnings of life, and thus were often revered as gods by their creations.
Various ancient civilizations on Terra have depicted Engineers to be the creators of the human race, often in the image of giant beings pointing towards the stars, suggesting that when the time came, the humans would come and find their creators.
Tactics: While not typically conquerors, if they feel that one of their creations has lost their way, the Engineers will utilize the 'clean slate' card - the complete reset of life on the planet through total annihilation. For this purpose, they created Chemical A0-3959X.91 – 15, also known as 'the black liquid', an extremely potent and virulent mutagenic pathogen that infects non-botanical life and rewrites their DNA, eventually killing them...or producing something far worse.
Homeworld: Unknown
Hivemind/Leader: ---
Hivemind Personality: N/a
Warriors: Engineers do not have warriors, per say; however, they can don bio-suits that give them increased strength and defense from most physical attacks. Much of their dirty work is accomplished through Chemical A0-3959X.91 - 15, and the predator lifeforms it creates.
Lesser Controllers: ---
Doomsday Devices/Racially Distinctive Abilities: Chemical A0-3959X.91 - 15 (described above).

The Precursors have arrived, and have set up shop on the water world of Brehrie. This is only the first step in the complete domination of the Infurnus, and with their Kaiju they might just pull it off. Assuming no one interferes...
