    OOC: Guess they still land in the forest?

    IC: Reds mouth fell open and eyes widened when the students down the line got launched of, but she didn't even have time to scream before she found herself plummeting trough the air. Looking around in a wild panic she couldn't see anywhere safe to land while the world was spinning around her, causing her to go into lock down. Which translated to her going into a fetal position with her spinning toy clutched against her chest. As her instincts took over a dark impossible to see trough black space formed itself in the air around her, enveloping her fully in a orb. As soon as she was fully covered by the smooth surface small shining and spinning spots, looking just like real stars and galaxies, spread around the surface.


    Once the orb had hit the ground with an deafening crash, and left a nice little crater around it, it dissipated into small crackling embers and faded, leaving the short girl sitting completely unharmed in the middle of it all. Finally daring to open her eyes and look around Red breathed a sigh of relief. Slowly getting to her feet and brushing dust of herself. Supposedly they were supposed to be doing something now, but she hadn't paid any attention whatsoever, and had no idea what that would be. Well, best to hunt down some other student and ask them.

    Daredare acted fast while in the air, opening the case while still in the air and fastening the drill to his hand, the case itself seeming to vanished into particles. The weight of the drill caused Daredare to plunge to the ground at a rapid rate, building speed as the falling became more of a high-speed glide towards the ground, the drill spinning quickly as he continued to build speed, hitting the ground hard enough to make a crater a good 4 or 5 yards deep. The drill slowing to stop, the case materializing in Daredare's free hand. He sat on the ground of the crater, opening the case to place the drill back inside, and getting up again after fastening the drill back into the case. He escaped the crater in one bound and began to walk into the forested area.

    Edward hurtled through the air at high speeds with his large grin still on his face then he aimed his bisento towards a large tree which embedded itself into the bark allowing Edward to drag the pole weapon downwards creating a long cut in the tree that reached the bottom of the tree which was sped up by him sending a tremor in the air sending the large student crashing to the ground on his feet "hmm could've used some work, eh it was good enough" he said calmly beginning to walk through the forest to find his partner not noticing the group of trees he had managed to knock down with the tremor

    OOC:

    IC: Hearing a loud crash not quite unlike her own nearby Red started towards it at a run, weaving trough the forest undergrowth as easily as water. It was clear she was used to literal obstacles in her path. It didn't take that long before she saw something move a little ways of to her left. Changing course, but not speed, she launched herself towards whatever it was, caring naught that it might in fact be some wild beast and not a student. Luckily enough what she ended up literally running into was human, or might be, it was hard to say with the paper bag covering the head. Blinking a couple of times Red looked over the person in front of her more closely, before hugging it happily. "Oh, it's you again!"

    Mirajane watched as everyone began to be launched from the platform as it was her turn. Giving a slight grin as she was launched upward into the air. Clicking a button as her inactive weapon turned into a large scythe. Letting out a snicker as she fired the weapon, picking up speed as she soared over the trees. Twisting her body to the side as she raised her scythe in an arch. Swinging it downward as she caught the edge of a branch, causing her to go around in circles before she began to free fall towards the ground.


    Letting out a laugh, she landed on the ground, creating a huge crater as she flipped forward, landing on her knees. Mirajane twirled her scythe around as she cut a few trees in the process as she sling her active weapon across her back.


    Dust floated around her from her large impact as she glided forward, her body tense and ready to spring. She was hoping she wouldn’t meet her teammate until much later or not even meet them at all. She let out a sigh.. things never go her way.. that she learned the hard way in the past.


    ”speech.”


    ❝ 'CAUSE IT'S NOT TOO LATE IT'S NEVER TOO LATE❞

    Edward continued through the forest with the grin still on his face and a few decaying grimm behind him, a few ursas came across him so he killed them with his bisento and one miniscule shockwave, he heard a loud noise from nearby and started to walk faster towards it "sounds big, hopefully a strong grimm to battle" he thought remembering how he hasn't fought too seriously at all since his rebirth as he broke through some branches that got in his face

    Mirajane dodged an oncoming attack from a group of Grimm, her eyes narrowing into silts as she shifted her weight, leaping forward. She flipped over the Grimm, cutting the monster in half. Pulling the trigger back as she began to rapidly fire against the Grimm, hair flying back.


    She twirled around, hitting one of the Grimm in the face. She narrowed her eyes as she leaped back as the Grimm swiped its killing claws towards her.


    ”speech.”


    ❝ 'CAUSE IT'S NOT TOO LATE IT'S NEVER TOO LATE❞

    Daredare had been ambushed by a group of smaller Grimm, killing them by piling then all into one blow with his drill and drilling them 6 feet under. He continued walking, awaiting a challenge as he walked, tugging the bottom of his mask impatiently. A massive Armored Grimm broke through the trees, splitting the two it entered the clearing Daredare stood in straight in two. It bellowed quietly, holding a large sword, twice it's size, which is pretty big when you compare it to this 20 foot tall Grimm. Daredare immediately went to work, running rapidly around it and drilling the ground as he went, the ground beneath the gargantuan Grimm breaking beneath it, trapping it. Daredare dived within the beast, killing it from the inside out, and quickly jumping out of the crater as the Grimm dispersed. He sighed once more. Even that was easy. He needed an opponent with a brain as well as brawn, and these Giant Armors aren't exactly worthy of his full focus, much less effort exerted from Daredare. He continued to walk through the forest, kicking small Nevermore Grimm straight out of the sky just because he felt like it.

    Edward broke through some trees and swung his bisento through a grimm infront of him swiftly slicing it in half followed by the ex yonko using a weak shockwave to send the pieces forward but he used to much force and sent the pieces way too far forward "hope that doesn't hit anyone, don't want to get in trouble already" he thought with a chuckle as he continued forward hearing the sound of fighting nearby hoping that there was still enough grimm left for him to have fun

    OOC: ...

    IC: Making her way up a tree the old fashioned way of climbing the branches to get a better view Red grumbled to herself. So apparently the student, or students, since there had been two of them, had formed some sort of team she couldn't tag along on. Which was perfectly fine, since they had been nice enough to explain the objective to her. Finally! Now she at least knew what to do out here. Poking her head up trough the foliage up top she paused for a moment, stunned by the beautiful green view up here.


    Which was then abruptly broken by something, or someone, cutting into the very same tree she had climbed. Feeling her stomach knot as the world literally started sliding sideways and crash down around her she did her best to leap from branch to branch and eventually to safety. Jumping from the last moving branch and flinging herself towards an unmoving tree she managed to grab hold of the branch there, and swing herself onto it. Breathing in a shaky haste she cast her galaxy eyes around the now tree less clearing in front of her, gaze looking on the incredibly tall white haired man with a bisento walking away from it.


    Wait, wasn't that the same boy who had been on the platform next to hers and commented about her measuring herself? Using her small size to her advantage red ran along the branches to catch up while shouting after him. "Hey, big guy! Hold up!" He might have nearly killed her by chopping down that tree of hers, but at least he had seemed friendly earlier, not to mention he was clearly a strong capable fighter, judging by all the grim laying about. Surely he would be good to have on the team?

    Edward stopped when he heard the voice and started to look around before he spotted red "oh there you are, I wondered where the voice came from" he commented placing the bottom of his bisento on the ground as he looked towards the smaller girl then he started to chuckle loudly with a smirk on his face "so guess we're partners then according to the rules, nice to meet you I'm Edward Newgate" he added kindly with a smirk

    Mirajane dodged to the side quickly as she rolled onto the ground before coming up. Her body tense as she swung her scythe in a arch, catching multiple Grimm with the deadly blade. Spinning around, she blocked an oncoming attack as she fired, killing it.


    Letting out a small puff of air as she looked around her at the large herd, the Grimm slowly disappearing as she swung her scythe downward, it transforming back into its inactive state as she walked forward.


    ”I wonder what happens next...” She mumbled as she made her way deeper into the forest.


    Her eyes scanned the area around her as she slipped off her beanie, shoving it into her jacket pocket as she slipped between the trees. Her wolf ears flickered as they caught more sound than when she had covered them.


    ”speech.”

    IC: Hearing this Edward character start chuckling brought a smile on the red heads face as she leaped down from the branch and landing in front of the taller boy. The oversized purple rain jacket she was wearing seemingly not bothering her movements at all. Making a theatrical bow she held out one hand for the other to shake, the other resting at her hip with spinning top in hand. "And I am Roses Entangle Delicately, but just call me Red, makes it a whole lot easier. Nice to meet you, partner."


    Once she had gotten the customary introduction out of the way the clearly shorter of the duo turned her attention to Edwards weird staff/knife thingy. She had never before seen something like it, and it had her utterly fascinated. "That's your weapon right? It looks so cool! What's it called?"

    Edward looked at his bisento with a cheerful smirk "why yes it is Red, it's served me very well during my experiences despite it's...simplicity" he said cheerfully tapping his bisento on the ground calmly "it's just called a bisento, i haven't thought of a name for it yet" he said thoughtfully tapping his chin calmly then he looked towards Red's spinning top and pointed at it "is that your weapon"

    IC: "Ooh, that's a super strange name! But it also sounds so cool, to. Like something from right out of a tv show!" She clapped her hands together in glee, clearly genuinely in her joy. As Edward mentioned her own weapon she looked towards the metallic toy in her hand and nodded proudly, holding it up for her new partner to see. "Yup! This here is Fate, and she might not look like much now, but she is all the arsenal i need." Flipping it around in her hand she then shrugged, now smiling with a slight blush on her face. "And yea, I know it looks like s child's toy, which in all honesty it really is." Pocketing Fate again Red crossed her hands behind her head with a grin. "So should we get moving for those collectibles we were supposed to be getting? It looked like you were going somewhere before I stopped you, so why don't you pick the direction?"

    Edward chuckled politely and started to continue in the same direction he heard the loud noises from "alright then partner this way, I heard something loud so I thought I might aswell check it out" he said calmly as he walked in quite a casual manner despite the situation as his bisento tapped on the ground every so often "might I say that I believe your weapon looks amazing, it's very intresting" he added shooting Red a cheerful grin

    IC: Twirling the metallic toy between her fingers while walking next to her new friend Red let her peculiar spacy eyes wander the forest, looking from anything out of place. "You really think so? As far as I remember it was a gift from my caretak- ... Grandmother, when I was still little. I don't really remember receiving it though, It's just sort of always been there you know? But thank you all the same, I appreciate it." Looking back up at Edward she smother her skirt nervously before nodding towards the bisento in his hand. "So how did you get your weapon?"

    Edward chuckled and looked at his large bisento with proud eyes "I built it by hand at my orphanage, I wanted a weapon that I thought looked nice and be quite powerful" he said happily tapping it's blade calmly, it's was as sharp, durable and strong as usual like he liked it being, he looked towards Red with a large smile "I wasn't any good with mechanical stuff so I made it old fashioned and simple, did an ok job at least" he added with a short gurara

    IC: Jumping at the shout Red twirled her long red hair while adjusting her two non braided pigtails. Edward seemed nice, ut he sure was strange to. She hadn't quit decided if that was a good or bad thing yet. It might be neither, or insignificant, she would just have to see. "You built it all by yourself? That's really amazing, even if it's simple like yours. I could honestly never have managed anything even close to what your bisento is." She chattered back, deciding to ignore the comment about the orphanage for now. Apparently that was a sore spot for some humans, better not bring it up until she knew him better. Red still enjoying having a friendly conversation, even if her partner was a bit strange.

    Edward rubbed the back of his head and let out a small chuckle "thanks Red, but I dont beleive it's amazing I mean look at the weapons of some of the others, they're fantastic" he said kindly looking down towards read before raising an eyebrow when he realised he made her jump "was I a bit too loud there partner, I'm sorry if so I just cant help it at times" he added politely noticing that they where close to reaching a more open area in the forest
