  • Will post the rest tomorrow! A tad too late for now haha

Meeting time.. and honestly she wasn't all too thrilled about it. Well, it was all fun and games but she couldn't be bothered to stand up on those staircases and announce many things of which they'd heard several times before. Even so the three legged tabby forced herself to stand up onto the top of the leaders lobby staircase and make the usual meeting call; "HAWKFAM! MEETING TIME!" Quickly did the people of her clan trickle in. Almost all of them carried their birds on their shoulders or on their backs. Some were dwarfed by their hawks which amused Littlestar quite a bit though she knew they'd prove feircesome allies in battle. The feline sighed and sat herself down, stub tail twitching and ragged ears pricked. "We've had some really good activity this week, guys! We made it onto the frontboard again and moved higher up so I'm pretty proud of you guys. Keep it up and don't forget to be welcoming to all those joiners." She reminded the clan. Nothing had really come up before for her people about cliques and nastiness and she was glad of that, hoped it stayed that way forever and ever. The Monarch ran through her mental list and decided she'd continue once more arrived, her golden eyes raking the crowd.

  • Luca was, surprisingly, one of the first to arrive. Cinnamon fluttered down to sit next to him, and he stroked his bird's feathers idly as he waited for Littlestar to continue. He'd been bonding with his hawk lately, and it was all pretty fun. More so than he was expecting, anyway. He hadn't had a pet since he was human. Back then he used to have a ton of cats, although that was super weird to think about now that he lived among them. Super weird and creepy. He looked up at his leader, dull eyes only really half-interested in what was going on around him.

  • ・゚✧ going against the grain, going insane!

Despite his best attempts at staying active around here, Kantor found that maintaining a social and work life at the same time was harder than he thought. Ever since his joining the maned wolf had spent most of his time outside camp filming, only interacting with people when it was deemed nessacary. Hell, he wouldn't be surprised if nobody recognized him. Sitting down next to Luca, he would quietly murmur a greeting before looking up at Littlestar.

  • WE'RE ALL MADE OF STARS — Poe — HawkClan — He/him

Hey, some good news! Yavin had already claimed a large spot below Littlestar, and so Poe bounded over to join his hawk. Everyone- save Luca- seemed to be in really great moods after the hawk ceremony, including Poe. He loved his osprey, even if the large bird really didn't seem to think the same way. Oh well. They would learn to love.

The pilot turned his attention to Littlestar, awaiting the rest of the meeting patiently. Any other exciting news?

  • Littlestar guessed that was a sizable audience so she proceeded to speak, her voice it's normal confident and clear enough for them all to hear. She sounded tired though but it was nothing new. "We've got some radical events this week. Blizzardclan and The Sanctuary invited us to parties so go here and here." Fuck it, she was tired. This wasn't going to be the best meeting of all time but she normally put effort into her meetings regardless so she assumed a break, at least one, would be okay with the Hawkclanners gathered in the vicinity. "Our joiners this week; Ikar is the first to go on the list, a pretty cool dude who's literally just joined. Second is Hiraeth, a pretty two tailed kitty cat who seems very lovely. Fore is the third who's a very different but rad looking creature. Swedishfish also joined us this week, a flirty playboy type guy who'd be more then willing for some nice welcomes. Donovan is another joiner, a galaxy pelted bear like how fucking cool is that? Elsie is the next and she's a pretty looking celestial princess thingy-ma-bobby. I don't even know, if ya wanna know more, ask her. We also got two returners; Vahriinlok and Maria Reynolds. Welcome back to them! I think that's all? If I've missed anyone I'm fucking sorry, I'm a mess right now." She grunted, rubbing irritably at an itchy spot on her flank.

"Shoutouts. Luca, Poe, Hanzo, Kantor and Vani. Warnings, uh, none right now! Demotions, none as well. Promotions.. I want Luca and Poe to try out Sentinel. The following week will be me deciding whether to keep you in those high, high positions or not. I want Kantor to step up to Guard, congrats my man. Hanzo, I want you to try for either Regent or Trust, pick between the two. That's all for this week. Special member shoutout of the week goes to Lessa. She's had my back for a while now and is the most reliable Shaman I've ever known-" A stab of guilt hit her as Shininglight's face was brought to mind. "-and for that, I want her to come collect this item of thanks." Surprisingly or maybe not so, it wasn't a usual dagger. It was a necklace Littlestar had got made from a special loner who'd made her own daggers and the necklace was black but it had a midnight blue gem in the middle and was likely to fit perfectly around the pine martens head. "That's all for this meeting. Thanks and big cheers for Lessa."

Lessa had slipped over to sit beside her friend Poe, Calum plopping down contently on her paws. With an attentive smile, she perked her ears up and listened to the announcements as they went by, sending a grin Poe's way at the mention of a promotion for him.

Surprised, the marten blinked when she heard her own name, brow furrowing in confusion before she realized Littlestar was giving her a gift of thanks. Her cheeks warmed up considerably. She was only doing her job, something she honestly loved. She hadn't expected anything, but smiling sheepishly she dipped her head before trotting up to her leader. "Thank you."

  • To say that Hanzo was surprised was an understatement. He didn't expect anything close to a promotion given that he was still not quite used to everything going on these days, but this time the self-doubt was far lesser than it usually was. Of course he wasn't present in the crowd around the area as usual, but the moment he heard his name being announced and the decision being presented to him, he stepped up hesitantly from the sidelines he had been situated in, slowly meandering over through the people to stand a bit closer. He swallowed thickly as he realized he needed to make a decision of basically whether to go into warfare or something more... tame. But as much as he wanted to avoid the warring part of himself, he knew which area he would excel in. No point sitting somewhere he wouldn't do well in. "I am honored by the promotion... I'll take Regent, please," he murmured out, dipping his head towards Littlestar.

  • All that had been said that Vani had heard had been good things, and the female was glad for that. There had been so much bad in the past that she didn't want it now, and didn't know how she would handle things had there been something bad mentioned while she had been there, so when Littlestar had mentioned allied events and that there were no demotions but a ton of promotions, she couldn't help but let a smile come to her face. She now had new coworkers with her, both in her own rank and below, and that was good - she had felt as though she might need a bit of help anyway - and she listened to the words of her clanmates - and would listen - as they each chose whether or not to take the ranks, and if they had the option to choose between two on which they would choose. ( After all, they didn't have anyone in charge of the regents, but they had three now in charge of trusts, though things seemed to go well all the same. )

When Lessa had been called upon, the sentinel had pricked her large ears, eyes casting over the growing crowd, looking for their healer before her eyes landed on the little pine martin, making her way up to the front, up to Littlestar. Listening to the words that the leader spoke, Vani's smile would grow wider and she would wag her tail in response, a 'congratulations' leaving her maw before she quieted down, eyes gleaming. She had received something from Littelstar, and although that had happened twice so far as Vani had been in the clan ( and in the past couple weeks at that ) it wasn't a common occurrence to receive something so special at a meeting.

  • WE'RE ALL MADE OF STARS — Poe — HawkClan — He/him

The news was all good. Poe made a note to try and attend one of the ally events and tried to match a face to the name as Littlestar announced each new joiner. He had already met a few of them. He perked up when he heard his name mentioned in both a shoutout and an announcement that Lit wanted him to try out the Sentinel position. Sentinel? Him? The pilot felt extremely honored to be considered.

Lessa was also given a special announcement, and received a gift as well. Poe let out a cheer as the pine marten received her gift. He couldn't tell what it was from his position, but knew it had to be something special. And with that, the meeting was done.

"Thank you Littlestar. I'll do my best," He called out, a grin on his face.

  • Luca's eyes widened at the sound of his name, and he blinked twice as the shock of being promoted hit him. The surprise faded soon enough, leaving his eyes to fall half-lidded again and a wolfish grin to spread across his fanged maw. "Oh?" He purred, half-leaning against his bird, much to the annoyance of the avian, who pecked a little at his ears. "I'll try my best not t let you down," he continued, running his tongue over his teeth. The rest of the meeting passed in a flash. If anyone asked Luca what had happened aside from his (perhaps temporary) promotion, he wouldn't have been able to answer them. He wondered if Littlestar was aware of what she was doing. Was she testing him? Luca wouldn't trust himself further than he could throw himself, which was not at all, but maybe that's only because he knew himself better than anyone else did. He hummed softly, a single quiet syllable that dissolved into the air like sugar in hot water.
