  • Spellpaw padded over to The District with not a basket, but an elegantly sealed letter clamped tightly in his jaws. The apprentice gingerly placed the envelope at the border and held it down with a rock. "Spellpaw from Stormclan here to invite you guys to an art talent show!"he called, "I'm leaving the invite here." In case they hadn't heard him, the invite inside contained all the same information and further details on when, where, and how the event worked. The letter inside read exactly: You are invited to an art themed talent show. At noon in Stormclan's camp. Feel free to come watch or perform an act. Acts must be art-related, appropriate for kits to watch, and not exceed twenty minutes in length. Otherwise, the act is entirely up to you. We look forward to seeing you there.

  • Interesting... he wasn't going. Vaguely, nobody else would be interested in his oboe playing. Amir didn't even want to hear his own playing. He just enjoyed exotic instruments. "I cannot accept this." He noted aloud, waiting for someone else to show up.

every situation has the potential to be profitable

  • Could Greyscale accept invitations? Possibly as Scholar of Politics, though definitely as Principal. Of course, he had no knowledge of his recent change in ranking, though Windchimes being gone meant he could accept it, right? Hopefully this wouldn't get him in much trouble, if any, from the missing feline if- no, when she returned.

"Um, sure! We can go," he replied, eyeing the note with curiosity as he was only able to read a portion of it. An art talent show? Probably the only artsy thing Greyscale had done was that day when Jules brought all that paint. Where was Jules, anyway? Maybe Windchime was with him. Or maybe he was just going crazy.
