  • Ratpaw was sitting by herself, feeling quite lonely. She wanted to have friends, but everyone seemed So caught up in their own worlds to notice the apprentice.

    The snakebite was clean, but it was itching, which worried her. She knew she should've gone straight to the medicine den, but she didn't want to risk getting in trouble. The pretty calico decided to find something else to and since the majority of the pain had gone down, Ratpaw was walking without issue.

    She scent the air, curiousity clear on her face, hoping to find someone hunting and be able to join them.

  • Pipetpaw!

    Apprentice
    Mentor: Gorsestep
    Family: Smudgedpaw | Sister
    Love Interest: Open
    Interacting With: Gorsestep
    OOC: Mouse-dung! The tom hadn't expected his mentor to guess what his move was going to be. Turning to face Gorsestep once more, he flicked his ears as the older tom spoke. Pipetpaw took off towards Gorsestep once more flicking his eyes towards the right of the tom once more. This time, however, in stead of running to where his eyes were looking he leaped straight into the air aiming for the older tom's back. If he could get up there then he would be safe from attack and he could still deal damage to the bigger cat.
  • Harpypaw sighed as his mentor seemed to be busy with something at the moment. He was eager to start training as he wanted something to show Spiritpaw when she got back from exploring the territory. The tan tom looked over to find Ratpaw sitting by herself. Once again, another beautiful calico. He was starting to think he had a thing for them. Puffing out his chest slightly, the large apprentice padded over to the she-cat. "Hello Ratpaw," he greeted. "How are you today?"

    Spiritpaw padded alongside Rainstar, eyes wide as she looked around. "So, how would you get to the Moontree?" She asked. She had always wanted to visit that area, despite Applespice's claims that it was solely for leaders and medicine cats. That didn't make her any less curious and now that she had the freedom to roam...well, it would be a great time to explore.

  • Shadow || Pebble

    ( Male - 26 moons ) ( Female - 26 moons )

    Shadow watched as Huskypaw pushed more seeds towards Pebble. "Thank you," he murmured, taking a seat next to his sister. She seemed to be calming now, but if she started fighting it again, he'd have her eat the seeds. She needed to rest. She could hardly walk here on her own. Besides, if she was resting, she won't get overly curious about this place and end up hurting herself more.

  • Smudgedpaw!

    Apprentice
    Mentor: Twistedjaw
    Family: Pipetpaw | Brother
    Love Interest: Open
    Interacting With: Applespice + Shadow
    OOC: Smudgedpaw trotted into camp carrying a large squirrel, it's fluffy tail dragging on the ground between her short legs. "Thanks for taking me out, Applespice!" she mewed around the scruff of her squirrel. With energetic bounds, she made her way over to the medicine den where the strangers were. "I brought you this!" She said proudly, placing the squirrel on the ground in front of the tom and pushing it towards him with her paw. "Be sure to eat all of it. You'll need your strength to recover."

  • Shadow || Pebble

    ( Male - 26 moons ) ( Female - 26 moons )

    Shadow looked up from his sister as he heard pawsteps, his eyes landing on a younger cat. He saw the squirrel that she carried in her jaws. He looked between her and the squirrel she offered for a moment, having not expected this. He sniffed at it, seeing as it was fresh, and flicked his tail towards the young shecat. "Thank you, but you didn't have to go through the trouble," he meowed deeply. It wasn't as if he was ungrateful, but he simply didn't know how to react to those helping him. He had been so independent for so long already.

  • Smudgedpaw!

    Apprentice
    Mentor: Twistedjaw
    Family: Pipetpaw | Brother
    Love Interest: Open
    Interacting With: Shadow
    OOC: Smudgedpaw couldn't help letting out a giggle as the tom finished his sentence. "It's no trouble at all! Here in FireClan everyone hunts for everyone else. Especially the sick or weak. We're raised to respect what others have done for us and to give back as much as we can. I'm sure you two have had a hard journey. Brining you food is the least I can do! Oh I'm Smudgedpaw by the way!" She sat down, making herself comfortable in the medicine den. These cats were new and she couldn't help but be curious.

  • Shadow || Pebble

    ( Male - 26 moons ) ( Female - 26 moons )

    Shadow's ears twitched as the shecat spoke, seemingly very energetic indeed. He looked at the squirrel once more as she spoke of everyone caring for each other. It was odd since he and Pebble had only cared for themselves and each other. Well, more him than Pebble. She was much softer when it came to others.

    "Im Shadow," he offered Smudgedpaw, seeming to be getting a bit more comfortable around her. She didn't seem to want any harm to come to him. "And our journey wasn't exactly a fun trip, to say the least," he said, nodding his head at her statement. He looked towards the squirrel a third time and finally gave into his hunger, bring the squirrel closer. He wouldn't eat it all though, as it was habit to save some for Pebble.

  • Ratpaw perked up at the coversation Harpypaw was attempting to make with her. "I'm well, thank you for asking!" She meowed, unable to contain her purr. "What about you? You've had a big day, Harpypaw!" She meowed, "Congratulations by the way, I guess this puts you one step closer to being a warrior!" She meowed to the slightly younger tom, her green eyes glowing slightly.

    "Since Voletooth doesn't seem like he'll take you out soon, would you like to set up your nest in the apprentice ten? I'll show you where to get all the softest moss and the best place to put it!"

  • Rainstar looked at the apprentice with amused eyes "the Moontree?" She meowed "that is a rather far journey, but in time I know you will visit it" she meowed with a purr (or is it in the territory?)

    Gorsestep felt Pipetpaw on his back and felt a flicker of pride at his apprentices cleverness, he felt himself becoming tired under his apprenticeship weight but still could easily stand.

    Huskypaw is ufi

  • Applespice arrived at camp, only to have Silverfox come up to her, looking concerned. "Are you alright?" He asked quietly and the tortie queen frowned, looking towards the silver tom. In the background, she heard Smudgedpaw thank her and she smiled at the young apprentice, nodding softly before turning back to Silverfox.

    "Of course," the older queen purred. "I decided to get out and do some hunting. Smudgedpaw is turning into quite the hunter. I'm afraid I'm out of practice." She narrowed her eyes. "Why did you assume something was wrong?"

    Silverfox sighed and nodded to Harpypaw. "They were made apprentices while you were gone. The queen's eyes widened and her fur bristled. She had missed their own ceremony!? Applespice shook her head, looking at her paws.

    "I...I didn't know," she whispered and Silverfox nudged her gently. She was one of the few cats he could talk to willingly and he didn't enjoy seeing her so upset.

    "It wasn't your fault. They did very well on their own...I don't think they are mad, perhaps worried," he assured her and the queen sighed, looking over at her oldest son. He was there, talking with Ratpaw. Of course. He definitely had a thing for calicos...much like his father...

    Spiritpaw brightened up at the sound of that and padded alongside Rainstar eagerly. She had so many questions but didn't want to overwhelm the leader. The dark ginger tabby observed their surroundings, taking note of places she would want to explore later. Perhaps some of the apprentices would like to come along with her as well. Spiritpaw wanted to try and make more friends since they would be living together in a den for the rest of their lives. It also was nice to talk to someone other than her brother.

    Harpypaw noticed Smudgedpaw slip into camp with prey hanging from her jaws, followed by his mother. HIs ice blue eyes narrowed at the queen, his tail tip twitching. Huffing, he decided that Spiritpaw would disapprove of his anger and really, causing a scene now wouldn't benefit him in the slightest. He was a strong, brave cat and didn't cause worthless fights like kits did. His blue eyes glanced down towards Ratpaw, who seemed way too excited to be talking to someone.

    The young tom put on a charming smile and nodded his head. "That would be great! I can even make a nest for Spiritpaw for when she gets back. I suspect she will be tired from roaming all of the territory," he added with a purr, dipping his head as he got to his paws. "Show the way."

    -------------------------

    Pounding. Pounding head. My head...AH!

    The black and gray creature lumbered down the forest pass, groaning and shoving his head against the ground, rubbing it against the soft dirt. The badger snarled as the pounding in his head increased and the creature staggered, his vision blurring. His sides heaved considerably and his jaws were opened, panting heavily. The male badger stumbled again, making another sound of aggravation.

    He had been out about three moons, looking for food when suddenly his mate came out nowhere and attacked him. She had bitten him in the shoulder before lumbering off. When he returned tot he den, the cubs were gone and she was dead. He concluded that a fox had taken them when his mate had went after him. The male didn't understand what had happened. His mate had been one of the gentlest souls and it was odd for her to attack him.

    The only connection he could make was when she was bitten by a strange, mad cat that came out of nowhere as well. That had been two moons before he got bitten and his mate had often complained of not feeling well. It wasn't until this past week she had been more volatile and violent...

    And now, he was feeling the same. Wandering around since then, the male could feel himself fading faster and faster. His large paws tripped over himself and he growled in frustration. Lifting his large snout, he caught a faint smell of cats. The scent hinted they were some distance away. A large group of them. Normally, if his mind was clear, he would have second guessed about attacking a large group of felines. However, his mind was pulsing and his stomach rumbled. He was hungry. He wanted food. And kitty sounded wonderful.

  • Ratpaw chuckled, rising to her paws and practically prancing into the apprentice den, "Now, I think it's a bit unorthodox for anyone but your mentor to take you out of camp, but I make a habit of picking up soft moss and once Voletooth shows you around, I'll show you which trees have the best moss." She meowed, "There some moss in corner, I suggest putting your nest in the very back. It stays dry there, and it won't get too hot. Not a lot of cats put their nests back there so it won't be cramped either." She meowed thoughtfully.

    Ratpaw didn't have many friends in the clan. So the opportunity to have someone to at least talk to was better than moping around worried about her snakebite.

  • OOC: I will need an update after being on vacation if possible, as well as who my characters last interacted with if anyone remembers. If not I can just scroll through and read.

  • OOC: Yes, of course! I just didn't get any heads up and we assumed that you had left for whatever reason. Sassy will be gone until Friday I believe so Pipetpaw and Smudgedpaw will be inactive. I will remove your characters from adoption.

    RECAP: Spirit and Harpy were made apprentices. The clan is winding down and interacting with each other right now. There will be a badger attack soon but I might wait until Sassy comes back so we don't rush the plot too much. Ratpaw's bite I believe is becoming more infected...and I don't think there is anything else major that is happening.

  • The leader lead Spiritpaw to the sun border "how you check if a order is fresh, you scent it, if the scent is fresh, that mean Fireclan Dawn patrol has done its work" the leader meowed, gesturing to Spiritpaw to give it a try.

    ((Could we kind of skip ahead to where they are going back to camp??))

    Gorsestep waiting for Pipetpaw

    Huskypaw is ufi

  • (And yes, of course we can.)

    Spiritpaw arrived back to camp, following Rainstar as they slipped through the tunnel. The ginger she-cat glanced around, flicking her tail. She spotted Applespice and the queen ran up to her, nuzzling her. "They told me what happened...I'm so proud!" her amber eyes glowed with sadness. "I only wish that I was there for you..."

    Spiritpaw smiled and puffed out her chest slightly, " That is okay...we are big cats now, Mom. We have to learn to do things on our own." She nuzzled the tortie she-cat in forgiveness and the queen licked her head, wrapping her tail around her small fiery ball of fluff.

    Harpypaw listened to Ratpaw's ramblings, his face showing signs of content and amusement. In reality, he was trying to find a way to shut her up. The she-cat spoke a mile a minute and he found himself struggling to keep up. The tan tom flicked an ear, ice blue eyes briefly searching for any signs of another apprentice. He had to make as much friends as possible.

  • Huskypaw trotted up to Harpypaw and Ratpaw "Ratpaw" he meowed with amusement "slow your words, I'm sure Harpypaw would like to get a word in to" he chuckled, seating himself beside the newly made apprentice "excited?" He me owed to him

  • Shadow || Pebble

    ( Male - 26 moons ) ( Female - 26 moons )

    As time passed, Shadow had been content to simply lay near Pebble, grooming his fur. He had many tangles in it from their travels and, seeing as there wasn't much else for him to do, he took the time to finally pay some attention to his peppered fur. Pebble had woken up some time ago and Shadow had made sure she eaten the second round of seeds to help her sleep a little longer. Now she was beginning to shift again. Shadow glanced over to see Pebble roll over, letting out a low breath as she finally began to wake up.

    Grinning, Shadow stood up and stretched out a bit, flexing his claws into the dirt. Shaking his peppered fur, he walked over to Pebble, flicking his tail over her nose. "Morning, sleepy-head," he teased lightly, earning a low growl from Pebble as she tried to claw his tail away. She blinked up at him, confusion glazing her tired gaze as she glanced around.

    "Where are we?" she asked drowsily as she tried to sit up, only to earn a shot of pain through her hind leg. She glanced down at it and sniffed at what had been spread over her wound, recalling all that had happened before she fell asleep.

    "We are still in the camp," Shadow answered her softly. "Take it easy though. Your wound is still healing." He sat down across from her, sniffing her wound. "Though it seems to be doing better." His own scratched had begun to lose their sting as well. Whatever was used on them must be working.

    Pebble glanced past Shadow towards the opening of the den, curiosity instantly lighting her gaze. Shadow sighed lightly. "Don't get any ideas," he warned and Pebble flattened her ears as she looked at him once more.

    "You're no fun," she whimpered as she carefully shifted to a more comfortable position. "I just want to have a look around."

    Shadow rolled his eyes. "Need I remind you that you want to look around is what started this whole mess," he meowed as he curled his tail over his paws. It was Pebble's want to explore and follow new things that got her hurt in the first place. The last thing he wanted was for her curiosity to get her into trouble while they were here.
