  • One of his two weekly tasks was to host a painting competition in the spirit of Blazestar's supposed desire for more "artsy stuff" according to the dogon Benedict. And he was a horrible painter, but he admired art greatly, so he very much enjoyed his task. Set up in a corner of the camp was a collection of blank canvases and different buckets of paint off to the side for those who desired to participate.

"If you'd like to paint, gather here," the corgi called out. "This is just a friendly competition to have a bit of fun - for those who are joining, your task is to paint anything related to summertime. I'm also looking for a judge or two to decide winners. The victor will get...erm, bragging rights. And maybe some nails and strings to hang up your painting if you want. Good luck!" He didn't have a prize on him at the moment, so he decided to leave it at that.

  • "I'll join." Spell said as he padded over. The ambassador painted about as often as fish tried to swim on land and was about as successful, but it sounded like fun.

  • "Begin whenever you're ready," Bentley barked, dipping his head with a grin to Spellpaw and Featherpaw. Two people would be fine to start with. Hmm, lot of younger people in StormClan. He was rather young himself, so it didn't matter.

  • Spell joined opposite Feather so the other tom couldn't see what he was painting. Not that it was anything magnificent; Spellpaw had begun attempting to paint a cat that beginning to take a strange, lumpy shape. Spell stopped and thought. Use your math skills. Spell reminded himself, doing a double take on the mess he had started.
