He nods at her and smiles for reassureance whenever she looked at him. It seemed she was doing as good a job as she could, and that was always good.

She takes in a shaky breath and continues, "One day the woman was standing by this window and looking down into the garden, when she saw a bed which was planted with the most beautiful rampion - Rapunzel, and it looked so fresh and green that she longed for it, and had the greatest desire to eat some. This desire increased every day, and as she knew that she could not get any of it, she quite pined away, and began to look pale and miserable." Her voice is beginning to shake but Ahi's smile makes her feel a bit better.
-
He keeps smiling and nodding, trying his best to keep he as calm and comfortable as possible.
-
Molly starts to read again but she looks anxious. She opens her mouth for a second, hesitates, then speaks. "I need a break. Sorry. My brain doesn't do so well with reading out loud."
-
"That is fine. You can take a break if you need one." He nods gently at her.
-
She sets the book aside and closes her eyes for a moment, taking purposefully deep breaths.
-
Ahi stretches a bit as she does this.
-
Molly yawns softly. "Sorry, I'm... tired." She doesn't realize how much she's apologized but she'll definitely feel guilty about it later, which will lead to more apologizing.
-
"It's fine." He didn't bring up her apologizing, trying not to embarrass her.
-
She sighs and mumbles to herself, "Get more sleep, then this won't happen..." She picks the book up again though she still looks sleepy.
-
"You want to get some rest? You know, because you are tired and all that."
-
"I..." She turns her attention to the book. "I don't want you to leave," she admits sheepishly.
-
"I dont have to..." He wasn't expecting her to be so upfront.
-
Nervous eyes look his way. "If- if you're sure then I guess I'm going to, um, get some rest." She sets the book down again and pulls a blanket from the back of the couch. She doesn't say it out loud but he has the option to share the blanket with her if he wants to.
-
He hops of the couch. He didn't want to share the blanket, just in case she didn't want to share the blanket. He hops on another chair and sits there.
-
She curls into a ball under the blanket and falls asleep fast, leaving him alone to read or cook or whatever he wanted to do.
-
He explores the hut a bit, just seeing what is there.
-
About half an hour later, she wakes slowly and stands carefully. "Ahi?" she calls softly.
-
Ahi walks over to her when he heard his name called. "Huh?"
-
"Oh, there you are. Sorry, just wondering." She folds the blanket carefully.
