    I got called a "Stupid dumb Christian" by my 22 year old sister. She asked what I thought of her having sex with a girl who was married with a kid and I told her the truth. It's morally wrong and she shouldn't be doing it. So she blew up at me. Called me all kinds of nasty names. I was just like "You can be mad at me all you want but you know it's wrong or you wouldn't have asked me. Then she went on YET ANOTHER rant about how the Salem Witch Trials were somehow MY fault.

    She also needs a history lesson. The Salem witch trials were wrong for the most part, but that was people doing what they thought was best. They have always done that, always will, no matter how hypocritical it is at times. Doctors weren't that great at the time; they couldn't recognize the health issues those girls had. Get a fucking life, Janet, I'll flip your fucking pan of cookies. That could have been her.


    She was probably caught up in the spur of the moment and wasn't thinking straight. Your parents, your sister, they want a reaction. My advice is to ignore them unless action is needed; this has helped me in times when I would have gotten my head chopped off. Pray about it, bro. I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

    They go out of their way to make EVERYTHING i do come back to how I'm an evil Christian who oppressed witches, even if what I say has nothing to do with religion. I could say "so a recent study found that children without a father are such and such more likeky to commit crime" and they'll some how twist it around to make me a hypocritical evil maniacal Christian.

    for me, i avoid saying things that might make my someone go off on me. i don't talk about hate crimes against black people or muslims, because i get pushback when i do. i avoid saying anything that could be considered 'bad' to peeps, because it's when i state my controversial opinions that i get hate for it. irrational people try to hurt other people's feelings when they feel cornered. your family is probably just irrational, no offense, and they probably feel like the only way to make their point is to try to make you feel bad. they're wrong. you're a great person eld, and i hope you get out of there as quickly as possible.

    No the thing is I could be playing a video game and they just walk up like "HEY BRYAN GUESS WHAT GOD IS EVIL!"

    OR they will trap me in a debate. I'll be in the car with them and my dad will say "Hey Bryan what are your views on abortion."

    I'll sense the trap and reject it but I get screamed at until I say something and then he will follow up by calling me evil, naive, and stupid for being a Christian.

    There's a reason Matthew 10:22 ("You shall be hated by all because if Me, but the one who endures to the end shall be saved") is my favorite verse.
