    My idea takes place in a world where angels, demons, and humans are the main three races. Others, such as vampires and others if you want, exist, but aren't as common. Angels live in the sky while the other races live on the ground, and angels believe they have some sort of "divine responsibility" to protect the humans from the demons.


    Character A is an angel who has been raised hearing that angels, demons, and humans are the only races. One night, they are out on patrol/guard duty on the ground when they meet Character B, a vampire they originally mistake for human. The two start to talk, and meet up again by accident a few more times before becoming friends and seeing each other on purpose. The first time A sees B drink blood, A freaks out because they thought B was human. B explains to them about vampires, information which A immediately takes back to the angels' governing council. A thinks that the rest of their people are as misinformed as they are, but the lie about how many races there are was actually told on purpose and A's truth-seeking gets them kicked out of angel society, which is how they become a fallen angel. The only non-angel A knows is B, who must now take care of an injured and terrified A.
