The farther you go, the more mysterious it gets
INTRODUCTION:
Strange sounds, weird appearances, mysterious silence. This is the order of which the things happened in this place. This odd jungle, that you hadn't been in for more than a sunrise. You were confused, as you were told by an odd cat that this place was full of paradise and wonders, but yet, you'd seen nothing wonderful, or anything that looked remotely close to a paradise. It confused you, but you continued to trek on, thinking maybe you just hadn't found it yet. Maybe you just needed to go in deeper.
The further you went, the louder the noises got, the more strange sites you saw, and the longer the silence afterwards became. It was finally starting to creep you out. Mainly the silence, as with the silence, you never knew what was going to happen next. You didn't know what was awaiting for you in the darkness. It was like a horror movie, and your death seemed moments away.
It seemed like you were in this jungle for moons now, though only one had past. You barely ate, and the last time you had something to drink was miles back. The heat was getting to you, yet you continued your exhausting journey. You had barely slept a wink for the past few nights, as the silence turned into horrific sounds. You felt as if something was purposefully causing this all to happen. But you had no idea, that the jungle itself, was making your worst nightmares come true. After a few more paw steps, on your cracked pads, you begin to pass out. You manage to keep yourself awake for only a few feet before you pass out due to the heat.
When you awaken, there is a large group of cats, domestic Felines and natural wild cats looking at you. One white large tiger steps forwards, nudging you with his paw. You squint as you try to see if your eyes are playing tricks on you, but you blink and realise, this is reality. "Oh. Hello there, stranger. Seems you ain't used to the heat 'round here. But we'd be happy to take you under our wing. My name's Harper. I'm the King, and this is MysteryClan. I think you will adjust to the heat. Let's get you fed, and you can meet the rest of us." The tiger twitched his nicked ear, signalling for the small ocicat to help you. The ocicat helped you help, with a smile on her face. "Welcome, newcomer. I'm a knight around here. My name is Adilene." The she cat meowed, rather warmly. She padded on, following Harper. He placed his big white on a button, opening a rather nicely hidden underground cave. With a large smile, the brute turned his head back, flicking his tail and signalling you, Adilene, and the two others that were along into the large MysteryClan camp.
Before you stood a very nice town looking place, lit up from odd glowing crystals and fireflies. It looked old, yet new at the same time. Ancient ruins that the cats had made a home in, and a very nice one at that. "Welcome to MysteryClan camp, newcomer. This is the start of your new life as one of us."
Rules & Regulations:
Out Of Character
• No fighting/bullying. It will not be tolerated.
• Only one SHP and one HP per person.
• LGBTQ+ cats are allowed. Just be sure that not all of your cats are like that.
• Make sure you have at least one cat that is actually in the clan.
• No parentless younglings, students, or younger knights, gatherers, etc. Not every cat has no mother and or father. If you haven't got a muse to make the cat, make them an NPC.
• You are allowed to have big cats, but just know that they will not be overpowering others. They live in harmony with domestic felines.
• Be realistic, in terms of looks. Certain things are allowed, like accessories and such, but no rainbow colored maine coons, with wings and unicorn horns.
• Pictures MUST be realistic. If you have a drawing that better suits what your cat looks like, put it in a spoiler, below Other in your form.
• This is semi advanced, to advanced. This means that I don't want less than one paragraph(4-5 sentences). This also means you need to have fairly good spelling and grammar. I know I'm not perfect on my spelling, but I shouldn't see spelling errors that are out of control, to the point of me being unable to read your posts.
• Try not to flood the roleplaying thread too much. I don't mind if you are roleplaying a lot, but if you and another roleplayer see that you've gone more than 2 pages by yourselves, maybe slow down a bit and let others catch up.
• I will update the first post as much as possible. Please don't rush me. I do have a life other than this website
• Don't be your own mate, and crush. Roleplay with others. If you haven't got anyone to roleplay with, let me know. I will see if others are open, or even make you a character for your own.
• Cursing is allowed.
• No harming or killing anyone's characters without their permission
In Character
▪ King's word is the law of the land.
▪ Everyone, even the Detainees unless stated otherwise, are to be treated with respect
▪ Harming another within the clan, will result in a punishment, chosen by the King.
▪ Share with others.
▪Do not leave the camp at night, as the dangers of the jungle get worse.
▪ Every youngling is required to learn how to swim, at two moons/months old.
▪ Disobeying those of a higher rank is a punishable offense, unless it is proven that the cat was giving you orders to harm yourself or someone else
▪ NO ONE is allowed to leave camp by themselves, no matter their ranking. You must have at least one-two other cats with you.
Territory:
MysteryClan's territory is a very large place, full of twists and turns, but it is nearly impossible to get lost, as there will always be something to light your way. The camp is a very large cavern, with a bridge that leads to the underground camp. Inside the camp, is a large vast area, that looks nearly like the jungle above, with waterfalls and fireflies lighting up everyway, along with glowing crystals along the cave ceiling. The camp is much like a city, and it has building like caves, and a large cattle like place for the King, and Queen, and every huge event that is held there. Inside each cave looks nearly the same, yet they adapt to each rank. Knights have access to the training area, that is in the jungle above ground, Gathers have access to a training hunting area, and so on and so forth. They mainly look like this, with decor to match each rank.
The Main Territory is a vast Jungle, with a hidden entrance to the clans camp. Since it is rare for cats to remain in camp, there a lot of hang out spots outside. This is the Great Lake, which cats love to hang out at, and swim, hunt, and just relax. It is said for the water to rejuvenate you. Another spot, that is common for cats to hang out around is the Raising Branch, which is a large tree which cats love to climb on, and talk and share tongues.
Traditions:
Moonlit Blessing;; This is a tradition that happens when younglings are born within MysteryClan. Each kit or cub, individually, is gently and placed on LunarStone, where the moonlight shines upon. An ancestor will decend from the night sky, burning a mark into the cub/kitten's paw, to show the rank that they will be honored with. It is done the night of their birth, before they are returned to the mother. This is a very important tradition, as helps the kits/cubs fulfill their destiny within MysteryClan.
Bronze Trials;; Another important tradition within MysteryClan. After the kits/cubs become of age, they are sent off for one night, to endure challenges that are specific to their ranking. No trial is ever the same, as it changes with each different kit/cub, and adapts to them specifically. The Bronze Trials are not easy, but they aren't deadly just to ensure that every kit/cub returns. This is simply to prepare them for what they will be training for, and for the final test of their ability when their training is complete.
Golden Trials;; This is the final test after students have said to be ready to become their full ranking. Once again, no trail is ever the same and adapts to the specific cat. It can be hard, but it won't be fatal, as there is always cats watching to help if something goes wrong. In this case, if a cat has to be rescued during their trials, then they are to endure one more moon of hardcore training before they can repeat the Golden Trials.
Mate Ceremony;; After two cats become mates, they are given a mate ceremony, in which they are blessed by the ancestors. The are then visited in their sleep, marked on their opposite paw from their rank mark. This binds the mates together for life and in death.
Mysterious Peace;; Often called Peace Day, this happens once at the beginning of each moon. There is an odd peace that happens on this day, where nothing bad ever happens. This is celebrated, and games are played such as Scavenger Hunts, Duels, and a performance and a feast are held before the night ends.
Religion/Belief
MysteryClan believe in the Twilight Temple. This is a group of Gods and Goddesses that control what go on within the forest. Once cats have died, they joined the Gods and Goddess, returning to the overworld during Moonlit Blessings and the Peace Day.

[1/1] King - The King is the chosen leader from the ancestors, at a young age. They chose the laws of the land, and to show their ranking, they wear a crown. They have learned to fight, hunt, and gather for their clan, and it is rare to see the king on his hind end. The king is required to be male[HP]
Harper (BRUTE) - scar.
[1/1] Queen - This is the Mate of the king. They are just a normal ranking, with the title Queen. They were an amulet to show that they are the mate of the king. They can be either male or female, depending on the King's preference.[NP]
Milly Nichols (MOLLY) - tubig.
[1/1] Heir - The Heir is the chosen cat to be the next King of the clan. They spend all of their life, until it is their time to claim the throne, training in every area of the clan. They are required to help out everyone in the clan, even in their worst days.[HP]

[1/1] Advisor - The Advisor is the helper to the king. They make sure that the king knows everything going on within the clan, just in case they miss something, they help them shin their crown, and are a loyal servant to the King[SHP]

[0/1] Jester- The Jester is cat that puts on shows, and stuff for the clan, like a director. They mainly watch over the Jokers, helping them learn how to act and make things funny, or dramatic, or whichever they need for the show.[SHP]

[2/2] Witch Doctors - The witch doctors are the cats that talk to the ancestors, more often than anyone in the clan. They heal others with medicines, like a medicine cat would, and often can 'tell the future'. This just means that the will receive something from the ancestors about what is going to happen, but they have no idea when or where it will be. There are two of them. The more experienced one, and the student.[HP]

[6/-] Knights - The Knights are the main fighters of the clans. They are the cats that go on bordering patrols throughout the clan territory, Fighting off any invaders, or dangerous predators. They know how to hunt, just in case there is a shortage of Gatherers for whatever reason.[NP]

[3/-] Gatherers - Gatherers are the hunters of the clan. They go on scheduled hunting patrols, making sure that the kill pile is stocked. They have been trained in fighting as well, just in case of a invasion when Knights aren't around.[NP]

They know how to hunt, and often specialize in hunting larger prey, like Deer Calves, on those days so everyone eats. History
Nothing is know of how the MysteryClan cats came to living on this mysterious island. All they know is that upsetting the Gods and Goddesses of the Island will result in serious consequences. Though there is myths that there was a group of cats, that ended up here by boat and survived the dangerous island during the night, then being given access to start a life here by the Gods and Goddesses, thus starting MysteryClan.
