Look out - Here Comes the Mushroom Guard! (P)

IC: Mario was laying on a bed in the hospital, barely breathing, in fact needing a machine to help him. Bowser had beaten him so badly, he was barely able to stay alive. Cappy came out of his hat and he nodded to him as the ghost like hat flew off to find his new partner, Joey

Ooc; Following the sudden death of Mario, Joey and Cappy join their other friends to create the Mushroom Guatd, the Mushroom Kingdom chapter of the Freedom fighters. Will they be able to save the day, or will evil rule forever?

(You can start at the hospital with Mario if you wish)

A Toad came out of the hospital "Sad to say but.... Mario has suffered irreversible brain damage and one of his lungs got crushed. There are two options, keep him on life support and try to save him, or take him off life support and just let it be. His family can't decide, so they've requested your opinion

"We can TRY surgery... but that surgery only has about a 15% success rate."

"So... what do you suppose should be done

The Toad nodded. "You may... come in and see him one more time if you wish..."

The Toad nodded

When he got in the room, Mario was hooked up to the oxygen machine, surrounded by his family and friends. He had a big bandage around his head as well as other marks and bruises, and his heart monitor was showing that his heartbeat was slow

"I guess this is what happens when your arch nemesis breaks into your old house and steals all the power ups you have there and then use them against you... hehe *cough*• Mario said weakly

"I suppose... your right..." Mario weakly said

"Yeah... heh..." Mario weakly chuckled, before the Toads took him off life support, making his heart beat even slower

"Yeah... *shudders* that would... mmm.... Pasta..." Mario weakly smiled before his eyes closed and then the heart monitor straight lined
