  • OFFICIAL EDIT:

For the stalkers of threads I know will appear eventually [much love ♥], Dream_scape and I are doing an 1-on-1 Warriors Clan roleplay. Foxstep was a well-respected senior warrior in SkyClan. He was known for a well-developed hate relationship with the Clan's deputy. Foxstep was found murdered on the border of the Clan's territory. Now, half of SkyClan is demanding to see the deputy punished for the crime but while half of the Clan demands blood, the other half is determined to prove the deputy's innocence, sending the entire Clan into a war against each other.

I'll make this all pretty eventually. loool OKay, sooo uh do you have a specify name for this clan? or a plot? aaand do you want to be the leader or deputy or medicine cat?

  • okie dokie

wanna be unoriginal and go for the name skyclan? xDDD

    um for plots..........

    uh

    1. an illness that kills the medicine cat whom doesn't have an apprentice.

    2. a senior warrior is killed and everyone thinks the leader/deputy did it because they had hated each other so the clan is thrown into a rebellion.

    that's all i got. ;c

  • Suure. Sounds good. Do you want to start or shall I?

I just make characters up as I go in 1 on 1 rps, I hope you don't mind.

Also, do you want to play the character who killed the warrior or ?

  • I do the same thing don't worry

I can also play the character that killed them yes.

And you can start yeah :)

  • [I'm thinking they can go on a patrol and find the dead warrior then we can start the plot from there.]

Sunstar was lounging lazily on the smooth stones of the gorge. The sound of trickling water filled his ears and calmed his racing heart. Life was good for SkyClan, for once. There were no threats from the other four Clans and everyone seemed content with life and living. A new litter of kittens had been born to one of the newer warriors of SkyClan and some kittens had been apprentice. There was a new medicine cat apprentice and everything seemed just like it was supposed to be. With a content sigh, the large golden tabby rolled over and let himself stretch. He would go down and see about joining a patrol.

Embereyes, a small black she-cat was sitting on a low hanging branches. Her hindlegs dangled carelessly and her head was resting against the leaves. Her dark green eyes were visibly although slightly closed. It was obviously the younger female was attempting to take a nap.

  • Dawnlight walked precociously along one of the patrol paths within SkyClan's territory. His mouth was slightly open to taste the air for predators or one of the other clan's members. They hadn't had much of a problem recently with much of anything. Maybe an apprentice falling into a thorn bush at most. Everything was so peaceful and all of the warriors were plump with prey and content with bathing in the sunlight until night. As he was daydreaming about the clan's life, one of the members of the patrol spoke up behind him.

Bouldernest's throat rumbled behind Dawnlight. His apprentice was trailing along behind him, gawking at everything around. It was the young one's first patrol and he was struggling with teaching him the ropes because of the lack of attention from the apprentice. "Dawnlight, I'm pretty sure Embereyes is ahead." The large tom-cat huffed as he spotted the she-cat in the branches above.

  • Embereyes hadn't bothered with much patrols lately. Everything seemed so peaceful it almost seemed unimportant. Thus, she had taken to napping seeing as all the apprentices had mentors and the newborn kittens in SkyClan were far too young to become apprentices. The sound of approaching pawsteps and muffled voices made the ebony-colored she-cat opened her eyes. Her tail-tip twitched slightly with annoyance as she pushed herself to her paws and glanced around the canopy of the trees."Ah, Bouldernest, Dawnlight. Afternoon." Embereyes greeted lazily. She took a seat upon the branches of the trees and gave her chest fur a few licks in an attempt to look presentable. "On a patrol?"

  • Ooc: Sorry for being so absent. I've been getting ready for a convention

Dawnlight eyed the she-cat, and flicked his tail for the others to come to a halt. "Afternoon Emereyes, would you like to join us? Seeing as though you don't look to be busy. I'd love to chat with you," he let a smirk escape his lips, "unless i'm mistaken and you're too busy for your deputy." The tom-cat smiled up at her warmly. He didn't think they needed an extra patrol member, but with how peaceful everything was lately, he wanted to get closer to the clan members. If he was ever going to be the leader of the clan someday the least he could do would be to make time to converse with the clan. That and he was pretty fond of the she-cat anyway. Most other members bothered him. There was a lot of mistrust within the clan towards him.

Bouldernest quietly watched the deputy, as he knew not to interrupt. He could only think of what was done this morning. The feeling of flesh between his teeth and the ripping of skin beneath his claws. The feeling of knowing that the senior was helpless underneath his jaw as he bled out. He could still taste the metallic taste of the blood on his tongue. Of course, no one knew what he had done...Or why. That was all within his mind, and he'd be damned to give out that information to anyone. He was just hoping that the deputy would be to blame for what he had done.

  • Embereyes' obvious raise of her eyes showed her interest and her relentlessness. It wasn't like she didn't believe the SkyClan deputy, she was just too bothered to leap down. Nonetheless, after a moment, the ebony-colored she-cat nodded. "Alright. I suppose I can grace you with my company." She teased. Embereyes raised to her paws and with a few nimble steps leaped down from the thick branches. The black she-cat's emerald eyes danced as she watched Dawnlight. She lifted her paw, directing the warrior to take the lead. "Well, where are we off to?" She inquired. The she-cat tossed a look towards Bouldernest, offering the tom a friendly nod.

    [ that's okay! ]

  • Dawnlight flicked his tail forward to motion for the patrol to continue on the path. "Thank you Embereyes...We are just walking some of the perimeter of our territory. Nothing too special, my apologies." The burly tom strode forward, weaving his body along the bushes and roots with ease. "Everything seems to peaceful lately.. I really hope it stays like this for a while." Dawnlight thought out loud to the group. The midnight black tom turned his tan speckled muzzle to Embereyes and smiled softly at her.

Bouldernest nodded towards the she-cat and then turned his head away quickly, avoiding eye-contact. "Yeah. Everything is pretty peaceful lately isn't it." He turned his head towards his apprentice, noticing that the younger cat was lacking in attention still. "Webpaw, please stop gawking. It's like you've never seen the light of day before. At this rate you're going to walk face first into a bramble bush." He muttered, flicking his ears in annoyance.

  • Embereyes nodded, following quietly after the Clan deputy. "No need to apologize." She meowed. The ebony feline's paws padded among the tree roots. Her paws shuffling among the dead needles and sharp pinecones that littered the floor. The tom-cat's gaze sent ruffles down Embereyes' spine. Her emerald-colored eyes studied the cat. After a moment, she titled her head. "Why are you staring at me like that?" She snorted, trying to sniffle her laughter.

The patrol continued to walk, the sun rising higher in the sky as noon came. Eventually, the pretty she-cat came to a stop. She breathed steadily, taking in the mixing scents around her. The faint smell of blood brushed past her tongue. Her body froze. "Do you two smell that?" She quickly asked, turning between Bouldernest and Dawnlight.

  • Dawnlight and Bouldernest opened their jaws slightly. Dawnlight raised his head and followed the scent. "Maybe I spoke too soon..." His voice trailed off as he walked quickly towards the scent. "Bouldernest, bring Webpaw back to camp and let Embereyes and I asses this situation. Then go find Sunstar." He watched as the two dashed quickly towards camp. "Lets go investigate." The deputy flicked his tail forward, motioning for them both to find the source of the smell. He quickly bounded forwards towards the smell, leaving his mouth slightly open to make sure he was headed in the right direction.

  • With Bouldernest and Webpaw heading back to camp, the ebony she-cat focused her attention on the situation at hand. The smell of blood became more intense as she followed after the SkyClan deputy. Her paws skimmed past fallen branches and leaves were overturned by the pair of thundering paws. Eventually, they came to a small creak that ran through the territory, exiting just before the border between SkyClan and a Twolegplace. Part of the water was running with blood. Embereyes slowed to a brisk walk, following just short of Dawnlight.

The ebony she-cat mentally tried to prepare herself for what the two would stumble upon. The scent of SkyClan was strong, just underneath the smell of blood. As she shouldered herself through bushes, she found her feelings of dread were right. When the last piece of bramble fell and exposed the ground, Embereyes' heart sunk.

Before her laid Foxstep. Scratches cut deep into the former warrior's russet coat and bitemarks printed around his throat."Foxstep.." Embereyes's voice break as she laid beside the body of Foxstep, resting her forehead against his own. Foxstep had been one of the older warriors of SkyClan. He had been a wise mentor for Embereyes when the ebony she-cat had been an apprentice. Respectful and a good friend of literally everyone. Well, except a few.

While the she-cat wanted to grieve, she knew Foxstep's death wasn't an accident. Immediately, anger burst inside Embereyes as she stood up. She turned to Dawnlight. A look of disgust but also confusion lit up in her emerald green eyes. When she spoke, it was heartbreaking and she failed to form proper sentences at first. "Did.. was thi-.. Dawnlight.."

  • OOC: Just got back from the convention so now I'll be very active!

As Dawnlight walked into the scene, his heart dropped to his stomach. Nothing could've prepared him for the scene in front of the two clan members. The deputy scraped his mind for any suspects. The stench of blood filled his nose and made his lips drew back in disgust. He wasn't filled with any sort of sympathy. All of it was replaced with curiosity and disgust at the scene in front of him. He also couldn't place any particular scents, which made him wonder who could've done this...but one thing was for sure, it was an in-clan rivalry.

Embereye's stuttering snapped him out of his shambled thoughts. "Embereyes, I know you are smart. If I had done this I wouldn't have been so quick as to bound to the scene. I am just as concerned as you are. Even though Foxstep and I haven't gotten along in the past doesn't mean I would kill him randomly over a feud from since I was a apprentice. It wouldn't make any sense for me to take action now..." The deputy trailed off and stared at the dead senior. He knew the clan wouldn't see it like that. He had hated the retired warrior since he was young. The senior had taken his mother from him, and the whole clan knew that. He just hoped that some would side with him anyways.

The deputy shook his head and put his thoughts into the back of his mind. "Alright. Help me take him back to camp. Enough talking about the situation, his body shouldn't be out here where the other clans could stumble upon it on a patrol or something. We will deal with the rest later." The burly tom carefully made his way around the corpse and grabbed his scruff, motioning for the she-cat to help him out.

  • ooc That's cool! How was it? Oh, i'm going to change Embereyes' name to Fallowheart. I was just going to make her a brief character so I picked a weird name but I really like her and going to keep her so I want to change it. Hope you don't mind. :P

Fallowheart wasn't sure what to do. Her mind was racing with anger, sadness, and the sinking suspicion before her was a murdered Clanmate and his killer. While deep inside she told herself Dawnlight was not behind this, her mind wanted to do everything in its power to convince the rest of her being it was a lie. During this, Fallowheart only stared on. Her emerald-colored eyes filled with horror and equal disgust as she watched Dawnlight.

The ebony feline couldn't deny there were things in this world she would kill for. It could be done, even from a cat like her. Was it really hard for Dawnlight to do this same? Foxstep and Dawnlight's feud ran deeper and longer than Fallowheart had ever seen a feud run. Was it really that impossible to jump to the conclusion he was behind this? It was logical to believe Dawnlight couldn't have done this. He was right. Who would willingly come back to the scene? But it was also logical that was what a killer who knew its victim and its Clan would do to cover his tracks. Play it off, right?

Fallowheart was at war with herself. She watched Dawnlight carefully as he picked up their deceased Clanmate. His sudden concern for Foxstep, no matter how late it was, made the she-cat make up her mind. Dawnlight wasn't responsible for Foxstep's death. Attempting to shake off her accusation and guilt sinking in, the ebony she-cat flashed forward and grabbed her fallen Clanmate, taking some of the weight off of the tom.

She paused. Her eyes turned to Dawnlight, sadness visible beneath her other building emotions. "Foxstep's family will have your head for this, Dawnlight." Fallowheart meowed, warning apparent in her voice. While Foxstep was no longer as prominent in a warrior's sense, his family was and Foxstep's family was one that Fallowheart had admired since she was an apprentice. They always had each other's back even when it meant disobeying their superiors. "And half of the Clan will blame you." She went on, "What are you going to do? This can't wait until later!"

  • Ooc: I don't mind at all! I went to Anthrocon and it was a blast. Totally recommend it. Everyone was so friendly and lovable

Dawnlight kept a steady tone and didn't let any emotion shine through his calm appearance. He needed to be calm for his clan, and for his fellow clan mates. "Well, if I still have some people on my side, then we can get through this. Lets just get him back to camp. There isn't much I can do standing around and talking. Thank you for believing me though..It means a lot to me." The midnight black tom mumbled through the mouth full of fur as they started to drag the senior back to camp. Even though his face seemed to be set in stone, you could see all of his building emotions in his eyes.

"You know..I did look up to him at one point. There is no denying that he is and will always be a very respected senior. If he hadn't of done what he had done..I'm sure we would've gotten along...We must get to the bottom off whoever did this. Will you help me?" He cast a side glance at the she-cat. His eyes practically pleading her to help him. He would never be able to get through this alone. He pushed all other worries aside and put his mind onto figuring out this mess of a situation. Whether the clan wanted to see him as a monster or not. He wanted to prove his innocence.

  • ooc: That's awesome! I really want to go to a Supernatural convention. They have one here where I live on the 9th but i'm waayy too nervous to go.

Fallowheart was unsure of what was going through Dawnlight's mind. It was clear he was trying to hold himself together. Was it fear that made him seem that way? Or was it genuine sadness? Perhaps guilt? The black she-cat watched the Clan deputy for a while. Her emerald eyes searching for clues, anything that would allow her to understand. She didn't have the heart to ask what he was thinking. There was a killer on the lose and that terrified her. She would worry about feelings later. Fallowheart rested her tail on Dawnlight's shoulder. She hoped it sent a silent message that she was here, thick or thin. "I'll help you. Whatever it takes." She meowed. Fallowheart knew now, in her heart, Dawnlight wasn't responsible for this and he was just as much as a victim as the recently-deceased Foxstep. When the two got back to the SkyClan camp, it was in chaos. It was clear Bouldernest and Webpaw had returned back to the camp and alerted the Clan leader about what was going on. Fallowheart rested Foxstep's body in the center of the camp and turned to Sunstar. The tom cat was sitting on the Highrock, his green eyes sharp and swimming with anger.

"What is the meaning of this?" Sunstar demanded. It was natural to think the worse when news of a disturbance in the forest came running into the camp. However, he never would have thought it was his own brother, Foxstep, who would be the disturbance. Let alone that he had been murdered. Loud cries of murderer rippled through the Clan like a wave. Sunstar could spot his mother already racing to the body of Foxstep, not caring about the rage seething within SkyClan's ranks. The light-brown turned his attention to Dawnlight. "What happened?" The SkyClan leader demanded, his tail lashing wildly behind him.

  • Ooc: You really should! Conventions are really fun as long as you're willing to talk to people :)

Dawnlight was so relieved that the she-cat had sided with him. When they got to the camp, fear rippled down his spine. He slightly pressed up against Fallowheart for a moment to make himself feel better and then suppressed all of his emotions. He had hoped that she had felt his energy in that brief moment. The burly tom stopped for a second before making his voice loud and clear to his leader. "Sir, I was on a patrol when FallowHeart and I caught breeze of the stench of blood. I sent Bouldernest and Webpaw back to camp to tell you while I brought Fallowheart to assess the situation. When we had gotten there, it was already too late. His body was slightly cold, so he had been there for a while. I'm so very sorry for your loss." He finally looked up at the leader after he was done speaking, his eyes and body language expressionless.

Bouldernest and his apprentice sat aside, watching the scene unfold. His eyes flicking past all of the yowls of dismay and focusing on Dawnlight and the Sunstar. He had done it. He could tell Sunstar blamed the deputy, his eyes told it all. The look of anger and betrayal shone like a million stars in the darkness of night. There was nothing else to do but sit back and wait until the clan declared war on the deputy and he would finally become deputy after his long awaited time as being a warrior. He knew he was next in line if something were to happen to Dawnlight. He just had to help things move a little more quickly.
