He glanced down at the clearing, seeing about a dozen hyenas. He saw Marina instantly, catching her white fur as she ran around with three hyena cubs, all black while the adults were brown with black spots. The cubs often leapt on each other, chasing and fighting and they never ran out of energy. Marina seemed like she fit right in with them

Fang watched for a second before backing away. It hurt him like hell. But he just padded away with his tail between his legs.

Falcyn watched his son and narrowed his eyes. He went down to where Marina played and snarled something at her. She pulled back, hurt in her eyes then she turned and ran away. The hyenas all glared at Falcyn but he ignored them as he called Marina, watching her bright figure race down the other side of the mountain

Fang returned to the lake, diving his claws into the dirt as he stared into the water. Growling at his own reflection he lashed out at it. "I'm never good enough"he almost sobbed as he started to cry.

Falcyn ran after his son and walked up to him, "Fang, its not you who isn't good enough. If she's going to act this way, its only herself she's ruining.... Its what the albino curse really is." He said softly to his son

Fang growled "there is no curse"he turned to him "i meant nothing to her! She only talked to me because I was the only one there! I'm nothing"he snarled

"That's not true, Fang. I didn't lie to you when I said I could see how much she liked you. That wasn't fake. There had to be another reason she pulled away." He said

"Because she'd rather mate with this hyenas!"he snarled before running away so he wouldn't hit his dad out of rage.

He sighed, watching him go. He didn't think that was true either, given her reaction when he confronted her. He hoped she would make her way home once she had calmed down. He knew Fang needed time alone too so he went back to see Ally

Allison wa having a break from the newborns. Luna was training her back to health. She was clutching the wall as she tried to walk.

Ally hadn't seen him yet. Luna smiled "right first steps be brave"she grinned and ally shakily took a few steps before stumbling.

He turned human and walked towards them, "your doing great, huntress." He told her affectionately

She glanced up at him "damn walked in here"she chuckled as he stood up straight "thanks"
Luna beamed "isn't she!"

He smiled at them both, "keep going like this and we'll be on that holiday before you know it." He said, not wanting to worry her about Fang while she was focusing on walking

"Hm that's a great motivation..give me your arm"she aske as an arm reached out for his so she could try and walk to him. Luna hummed "holiday?"

He gave his arm to her as he told Luna about the beach holiday they had planned

"That sounds great. I'll be back soon"she went downstairs to get ally's medication.
Ally let go of the wall and held his wrist as she walke slowly to him before becoming out of breath "God I wish I could just walk"she said as she leaned into him weakly.

"it will happen." He said to her, helping her move the way Luna had

After an hour ally laid back down exhausted "just need to build stamina"
