  • AIN'T IT A FINE LIFE — Ben — BloodClan — He/him

It was a cool autumn evening at Hogwarts castle, the only sounds being the patter of feet, the chatter of children, and the rustling of the leaves in the trees. It wasn't cold enough for snow yet, but it was cold enough for a certain Hufflepuff named Ben to bundle up in his coat and traditional yellow and black scarf. He passed a group of girls laughing at something or another before reaching the courtyard, glancing upwards to see what the sky looked like-

And promptly had a bucket of water dumped on him. The dark-haired teen shut his eyes and felt the water drip-dripping off of him, making him shiver. He could hear laughter coming from the left of him, most likely the perpetrators. Ben clenched his fists and grabbed his wand from his pocket, turning to face the laughing group. "What was that for?" He asked, tone both embarrassed and annoyed.

  • [ ooc ] literally did a test to figure out if nik was ravenclaw or slytherin

Technically, it wasn't Nikolaos. He'd watched it happen and he knew who exactly had been responsible for the prank, but the boy said nothing else. In fact, his hazel eyes avoided direct eye contact with Benjamin. He diverted his gaze back to the scenery, letting himself absorb his surroundings as wind rustled past his chocolate hair. Some years ago, Nikolaos had been sorted into the house of Ravenclaw for his rather intriguing intellectual capabilities, but most days the student felt rather lost. He was always a witness, watching quietly behind the scenes as he merely took mental notes. When others spoke to him, his reply was almost always honest but meek and pitiful. Nikolaos didn't exactly care how others thought of him though. When others called him names or seized opportunities away from him, the adolescent would often find a unique way to recover. That was as far as his reputation went. Well, that and his habit of speaking out of turn.

"Most likely for the entertainment," Nikolaos said, loud enough for Ben to hear as he opened a book, flipping to a few pages.
