  • Spell was glad to be forming a strong bond with his brother again. Feather had irritated him recently by slipping into his group meeting, but he had to admit that he admired his persistence. Spell knew that Feather was stronger than he was in spirit; he probably wouldn't have been stubborn enough to follow after being told no. Anyway, Spell wasn't here to address that today. Today Spell had come to continue assisting Feather in his ongoing vampire struggle. It hadn't been easy, but Spell was confident that his brother could at least learn how to come to terms with his vampirism if not be cured. Once again, the apprentice waited to talk with his brother.

  • Feather moved himself to the meeting spot, Spell had changed quite a lot, he was a bit prideful now. Feather felt like Spell thought he needed to protect him, which wasn't true in the slightest, if anything Feather should be protecting Spell! ``So what did you wanna talk about?`` He flicked an ear taking a seat beside the ginger tom, narrow blue eyes scanning over his littermate.

  • Spell hadn't noticed the slight ego problem he had developed. He had tried to convince himself that the arguments he and his brother got into were merely because Feather was stubborn. In reality, it was all Spell. Despite the ambassador's attempts at staying democractic, he was developing a need to be the leader between the two. He was starting to act like Feather required his protection. Maybe that's because he wanted Feather to need him? When Spell had been captured by Bill, he had realized how weak he was. He hadn't even been able to fight back when the demon attacked him. When he had finally returned, Feather had grown up so much despite still looking like a kit. It frustrated Spell. He was happy for Feather, sure, but he felt like he was falling behind him. Here he was, still in the same spot he had been in since he was a kit. He wanted to be the older brother. It was stupid and it was selfish, but he wasn't sure how else to face his insecurities. Besides, Feather was still a vampire, and he at least knew that his brother did need help with that. "I wanted try to help you with your vampirism again." he announced, hoping his brother wouldn't be irritated by that. He didn't want to argue.

  • Feather nodded to Spell slightly, a small smile drifting onto his maw. ``Ah, I guess we should keep dealing with that. Any books you found?`` He curiously asked trying to make good time with his brother. Hopefully they can get over their kittish disagreement.

  • Spell smiled in return, glad that Feather didn't mind his help again. "Uh, yeah." he said, "Most of the cures I've read don't seem all that useful in your situation." he said, his frustration clear in his expression, "There was something about genetic experiments, which sounded kind of scary. Not to mention that we don't have any of that crazy technology those books talk about. Another one said you needed to kill the person who turned you into a vampire." he continued, "I don't think those hold any water, but I was thinking it might be helpful to talk to another vampire if you haven't already. I know Benedict is a vampire." Stormclan used to have an abundance of vampires who they could have talked to. However, now Feather and Spell were left only with the grouchy dogon.
