He aimed the scepter at the burrow and it shifted to the side, as if blown by wind. A tiny blood red snake looked up and hissed, darting towards them
-
She moved back
-
The snake coiled itself slightly and shot for Tut's crippled foot. He pulled back but lost the fragile balance he had and hit the floor on his back. He pulled himself backwards slightly, trying to angle his good foot to push himself back up but the snake was faster. Just as it bared it's fangs to strike, Kay's cat leapt onto it, yowling furiously. The snake hissed and bit the cats shoulder just as the cat killed it. Tut sighed in relief, pulling himself forward to check he hadn't been bitten

She watched him
-
He lifted one out, setting it over his neck and raising the scepter. "Great Aker, the Pharaoh Tutankhamun requires the ground to be as it was! Demons are using the sand to hide and are attacking my guardian feline!" He said loudly and after a moment, the sand started vanishing
-
She watched
-
He sighed in exhaustion when the sand was all gone and his illusion faded too, leaving his skin rotten but the cat didn't seem to mind as he scratched under its chin
-
She watched him
-
He slouched back onto the small throne, which he had kept
