  • The second meeting since the famine had faded into nothing. Things were looking upwards. They were strikingly less thin then last week. The new tree and plaque had been implemented by the riverside, a memorial for those who perished in the hunger. Of course, people were still sick, recovering and tired but compared to what they had all been during the middle of the famine, this was a vast improvement. Littlestar was already positioned atop the staircase, her golden eyes blinking as she adjusted herself into a more comfortable position. "HAWKFAM! MEETING TIME!" Her husky and strangely mature voice was heard throughout the camp. Soon enough, the normal amount of Hawkclanners had gathered before her, seating themselves where they pleased. She didn't even care when one was lying down, watching her through slitted eyes. "This week has been really good, guys. Some things, however, have gone a little bad but I'll talk about those later. This week, our activity has been the same as last week, really damn good and I'm proud of you guys for the millionth time. Please keep it up. And remember, stay inclusive as fuck to all our cute new members and shit. Say hi to them, really, really include them." It was imperative her clan stayed on their feet in that regards. Their activity, compared to the higher clans, wasn't the best. Their kindness towards members and their uniqueness was kept them them. Littlestar stretched her paws and continued on through the meeting. "Events for this week. The most important is the funeral I hosted for those who lost their lives in the famine, right here. We put up a weeping willow tree by the river, alongside a plaque. Feel free to pay your respects whenever you wish. Vani has held a weekly tasks over here so go over if you want stuff to do for the week. We've currently got no ally events! I also.. believe that's it for events in the clan?" Littlestar tilted her head, wondering briefly. Eh, if she missed something out, someone was bound to tell her so she wasn't all too bothered by it.

"This week we will be hosting the celebration party and also, the hawk ceremony where you will all be assigned your hawks!" Littlestar announced with a dip of her head. Some members pumped their little paws and she let her eyes glimmer warmly. She let her stub tail waggle side to side, liking the happy atmosphere. "Joiners this week. Our first is Genji Shimada. Cool fucking as name, huh? I thought so too. Say hi to him. Second joiner is the beautiful and stunning Daisha and I'm by no fuckin' means exagge- however the fuck ya say that, her prettiness. Laura is not a joiner but rather, a newly birthed member of our clan. She's adopted by Vani, a cute little dalmatian pup that I expect you all to treat with the nicest words ever. I believe that's all. Not many joiners this week but that's fine as we had a whole load the week prior to this shit." Littlestar sighed and shook her head a little. It was fine that they weren't bursting at the seams with joiners. In fact, the Monarch preferred it that way. "Before I move onto rank shit, I'd like to formally announce the passing of one of our beloved Guards, Rinto. He was found in his den earlier this week... he died because he chose to kill himself. I know ya won't have expected me to say it aloud but I'm willing to be the most transparent piece of shit with you all. You're my family. I don't hide things from you." The tabby licked her lips and dipped her head. "He was buried with a hawk feather, as tradition goes. Feel free to pay your, uh, respects." He'll come bac- no one else did. What makes you think he will? True. No one she knew ever came back from the dead. The three legged feline sighed softly. "Okay, warnings and demotions. I've only got one warning; Wintermoss. I'm doing this so ya can get back up on your feet. Other then that; nothing else. All of our high positions are doing swell, however. Keep it up, fam." She inclined her head to the side and continued. "Shoutouts; Vani, Lessa, Obscuro, Seth and Luca. Well done, guys. Now, promotions. I'd love it if Seth would step up to either Trust or Regent. Take your pick man, just tell me about it. Luca, I'd also love it if ya could follow Seth and take your pick from either two spots. Obscuro, I'm bettin' ya can guess what I'm gonna say now; take your pick from Trust or Regent! That's it for promotions. Thanks guys." She ran over her mental list, brows furrowed before nodding. That was it, she believe, to conclude the meeting.

    "Alright, alright; meeting dismissed fam."

  • Maybe it's a twisted kind of love, Maybe I'm not giving enough!

Obscuro walked into the meeting with more woe than was normal for her, usually she was bright and happy about these, but knowing that one of the announcements already- knowing about a clanmate's death still unnerved it. It made the sword on her back feel all the more heavier, but there was a hope lost souls sometimes found thier way back and it was what Obscuro would cling to.

Her promotion was a welcome distraction, and she offered a bright smile with regards to it- honnestly she would do better if she took the regent tittle, but with the way things were- she knew that there were few- if any trust within the clan. "Trust" Obscuro said, voice light.

  • Luca was quick to gather with the others. Most of the announcements passed over his head, although he mirrored the way his clanmate's heads dropped at the mention of death. But ah, there was his name again! Luca's eyes shone as he stared up at Littlestar, his lust for power barely hidden beneath that bashful guise he rarely dropped. He mulled his choices over in his mind, biting at his lower lip. He wanted to keep up his pacifist charade, but the role of Regent was much more appealing to the demon. Plus, Obscuro had chosen Trust so... "Regent please, Lit," he mewed, echoing his decision telepathically just in case she hadn't heard him. He was infamously quiet, after all.

  • Vanilabean knew that the mentions of the deaths were something that was important, and she knew that there were some that didn't know about the deaths of those that had already happened, but the mention of it all, and the mention of Rinto's name caused Vani's head to drop, her ears to flatten a little, and her tail to lie still in the grass on the ground, and her thoughts rushed her mind for most of the rest of the meeting. She only pricked her head once more when she heard her own name, being called out for good activity, and she would simply nod her head. She then listened to the words that Obscuro and Luca spoke, and a look of surprise washed over her face. She had expected both of them to choose the opposites of what they had chosen, but she was glad that they had chosen differently. They had no trusts since she had been promoted, and now Obscuro was one. It was good to have trusts around the clan.

  • WE'RE ALL MADE OF STARS — Poe — HawkClan — He/him

A lot again this week. Poe was glad to hear HawkClan was doing well, and that he hadn't particularly missed too much the week he was out. He would have to get to know the new guys better- Seth, Obscuro, and them. It was a shame about Rinto, but he was glad to hear about the celebration and the hawk ceremony. It would be amazing to have a live hawk companion... Hmm, he should start thinking of names!

The rest of the meeting continued on, and Poe turned to grin at Luca as the other declared he would like to be a Regent. Seemed he had a buddy now! How exciting. "Congrats, you guys."

  • Oh, that was a lot to take in. Lando wasn't even sure what he needed to say, he wasn't use to this weekly meeting thing. He glanced toward Poe, then around at the others, "Uh, yeah, congratulations!" The whole hawk ceremony probably stood out to him the most, because holy crap they would be getting hawks? Didn't those things carry cats away like no problem? He wasn't as small as a domestic, but still it was concerning... also exciting. Lando rubbed his head with a paw, lopsided smile on his face.
