  • In a tiny sailing town, there wasn't much point in cars, or at least driving them within the town in good weather. You could easily walk or bike anywhere in what the locals called Skull Bay, and usually the weather was gorgeous, so it was infrequent that the shelter cars would provide was needed.

    That being said, Ryan liked cars, and he was pretty lazy, so he still drove around sometimes. It also was a gorgeous day, aside from the sweltering heat, so he was outside in front of his house, washing his jeep, though it was hard to tell what had more water on it - the car or him.

  • Coins clinked in her deep purple and red bag, amongst other items, and hanging from her mouth was the white stick that had a dark blue raspberry lollipop at the other end. Gabriel had introduced her to that particular sweet, and now that was the other thing she had quite a lot of stored away in her bag. Her next stop was the beach before she spotted Ryan working on washing his car. She knew more about sailing than she did about cars. Check that, she didn't know anything about cars beyond the fact that they were another form of transportation specific to land rather than water. "Hi, Ryan!" She said, waving her hand and walking over to him the same time she reached for her bag. A few seconds later she had a neatly wrapped, bright red lollipop held out for him to take. "Want one? I've got plenty." He might not be fond of lollipops, or sweets for that matter, but it didn't hurt to offer him one, did it?

  • It was a day to be out in the neighborhood apparently, but unless you had an AC, being inside was like being in an oven. Not that being outside was much better, but outside the air at least moved.

    She had a car, but she rarely ever drove it unless she was going out of town or it was raining. Ryan was another story, however. Today he was out washing his car, and apparently himself. "Are you using yourself as a sponge?" She called, joking. Slyly, she slid over to Xylia, signaling with her hand that she wanted a lollipop.

  • And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies

    Calla exercised a little too much- she would admit that, ran every day, and when she wasn't running or working- she would be finding a gym. Something she hadn't found yet- but she was working on it. There was only so much one could do from the floor of their room, and it was too hot to stay inside. So- jogging it was.

    Running while it rained was actually calming to her, and now she still felt like bliss, she was beyond the point of her limbs feeling numb, breath comming out in huffs. She probably smelled- but at that moment, she had little care- the water would wash it away. Even if it only made her more and more sweaty. It was worth it.

    She had spotted the three other's and she took a moment to breathe again. Okay- she might've stayed a little longer because she heard lollipop's but- whatever. "I heard lollies?" Calla walked into the yard, bright magenta eyes looking at sel- slyly winking towards her before she turned towards xylia. "Could I snatch one?"

  • Eyes lighting up, Xylia's hand shot into the bag to grab a lollipop for Sel, and then one for Calla when she heard the other approaching the now-trio around Ryan. Still holding out the red lollipop for him in case he wanted one, and still rolling the blue one she had in her mouth, she picked out two random lollipops that she offered to Sel and Calla. "Here you go, take your pick!" One was a lime green color that was sour green apple flavored, and the other was a dark purple grape flavor. There were reds and oranges too, and of course the blue ones, but those two flavors were the ones she happened to pull out of the bag first.

  • Ryan looked up from the car as Xylia approached, offering him a lollipop. "No thanks." He said, bending down to pick up the hose again. "Kinda busy." It was only a few short moments after that that Lucy appeared, with a quip ready as always. He gave her a look. "No." He tried to think of something witty to use on her, but came up with nothing. Instead he aimed the hose at her, but didn't turn it on, even when the urge to spray Calla as she winked at Lucy became rather strong.

    //what even is this

  • Sel's hand twitched, wanting to take hold of Calla's, but it stayed hanging by her thigh. It was too soon, and not the right place. Even if it hurt not to be able to lean into the other woman. After the twitch in Calla's direction, her hand only moved to take the grape-flavored lolli from Xylia, and pop it into her mouth. "Thanks."

    She wanted to make a joke that was completely inappropriate for the present company - specifically Xylia - but even if it wouldn't be completely horrible for her to say in front of a kid, the joke was forgotten when he aimed the hose at her. She yelped and ducked behind Calla before realizing a few moments too late that he hadn't turned it on. "Hilarious." Sel said, reluctantly stepping out from behind her human shield.

  • And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies

    Calla was very observant, and the way sel twitched made her bite down a smile, yan's tight grip on the hose didn't really stop her- if anything she wanted to do it out of spute She wasn't very good at hiding her emotions with her eyes, so rather the female simply took the sucker offered to her. Giving a bright smile towards xylia as if it were enough thanks.

    Sour apple wasn't too bad- but call prefered more peach flavored things. She popped the sucker in her mouth. Resisting the urge the crunch it. Instead she rolled it between her molars, humming, even as suddenly sel cam to hide behind her- she only turned towards the other and offered a smile. Arms resting on her hips in a mock defensive stance. "Speaking of sponges, you might need one- unless you have a wrag?" She didn't plan to offer any assistance. Instead underhand tactics, she aimed to lean into sel- who was still somewhat behind her. Smiling a little at the petty win. she never claimed to be nice.

  • "Isn't it?" He said to Lucy, a shit-eating grin on his face. He was deeply amused by her going to hide behind Calla, especially since he hadn't even turned the water on. He forced it remain even as the latter leaned back into the former. "I've got a sponge." He jerked his head towards the bucket sitting a few feet behind him.

    //anyone want their char to get wet? hehe
