    General Bonami was returning back to the capital city of Memphis along with his small legion. They had been sent out by their great Pharaoh Okpara to the Nubian kingdom to conquer their capital which they had succeeded in and had even taken back their princess as a captive. Bonami planned to give her to his betrothed who was awaiting him in the castle

    Princess Khepri(means morning Sun),Egyptian Princess


    Ic: Khepri had patiently awaited the arival of her betrothed. She ha paced the hug halls of her and the Pharoh(her father's) throne room. She had stopped glancing to the entrance way .

    Hudiya,Nubian Princess

    Hudiya was rather iratated as she was dragged along ropes tied tightly around her wrists.

    Bonami approached the palace's great hall tugging along Hudiya by her restraints. He soon so his betrothed and ran to her. "Khepri my darling. I've returned from battle with a surprise for you" he said after hugging her

    Khepri saw Bonami and with a smile she went to him as he went to her and hugged him. Her eyes were bright green eyes looked up to him eager"oh you have I'd love to see this gift"She said


    Hudiya glared daggers at the man before her whom dragged her into the Grand halls. She tugged at the ropes angrily unhappy with her capture.

    Bonami held the hug for a bit before pulling away and tugging on the rope enough so the Hudiya was tossed before Khepri's feet. "I present you the Nubian's beautiful desert flower, Princess Hudiya. She's to be your new hand maiden. Treat her well my love" he said

    Hudiya was sent flying forward landing down on her knees as she was presented before the Egyptian princess. She could care less about her name but she heard that she was to be a hand maiden and that just didn't settle well with her."I won't be some lowly hand maiden to a spoiled brat like you"She seethed not caring for what came from her mouth or what consequences it would reap.


    Khepri blinked and smiled some."oh thank you my love she is perfect"Khepri had mnged to 91st before the Nubian spoke and her smile faltered green eyes looking down to the new hand maiden kneeling before her

    Bonami scowled hearing her protest and knelt down so that he was eye level with her. He grabbed her by the chin forcefully. "You'd better watch your mouth. Remember I could've ended your life back in your home country like I did your father. Be grateful I even presented you as a hand maiden to my betrothed. You will be her servant or face my sword, understood?" he asked sternly

    Hudiya glared at Bonami as he knelt before her and grabbed her forcefully by the chin. Her pride seemed to falter for what seemed like a breif moment as she remembered him ending her father. Pulling her chin free she remained silent if only for the moment as she looked down amberish colored eyes filled with hatred.


    Khepri watched grateful that Bonami had taken care of the situation. Her smile returned for the moment as she ordered two gaurd and her head hand maiden to go get Hudiya prepared for her duties ahead.

    Bonami glared back at the young Nubian princess right before she was escorted away by Khepri's guards and her head hand maiden. He turned back to his betrothed and took her hand to kiss. "I'm sorry your new hand maiden is so stubborn. I'm sure she'll be more well behaved after spending some time with Habibah" he reassured name dropping her head hand maiden.


    Meanwhile the four had arrived at the chamber of the hand maidens and Habibah looked over Hudiya. "I'm glad to see I won't be her only Nubian hand maiden. Now let's get you more presentable for court" she said leading her to the vanity and sitting her down to do her make up

    Khepri smiled a tiny but grateful."I'm sure she will be. I trust Habibah after all of anyone can did a stubborn new hand maiden it's her"Khepri replied smiling some thankful for her betrothed reassurance.


    Hudiya muttered angerily as she was brough away by the two gaurds and the head hand maiden. "Your Nubian as well?!"Hudiya as shocked and yet disgusted that a fellow Nubian would be a head hand maiden to the Egyptian princess.

    Habibah started styling her hair so it was a mixture of both the traditional Nubian style and the Egyptian style. She then moved onto make up and began to tell her tale. "I am, I was taken long before your time. In fact I was brought here as a gift like you to our current pharaoh back when I was young though I wasn't a hand maiden then. I...had a different job, but I was well liked so I was allowed to stay." She finished up the make up and smiled before having her stand up to change her dress from the tore one she wore now to a simple dress like hers. "I know it's hard for you to accept that you're now no long the great princess of our people, but I promise you that I'll make this situation a bit more bearable. I do have some comforts from home that I will share with you" she offered.


    Bonami smiled at Khepri and placed his hands on her waist. "I have no doubt my fair desert flower. Perhaps by tonight's banquet, she'll be ready to be presented before your father" he suggested before leaving a trail of kisses starting from her neck up to her lips

    "How can this be a bearable situation I am still a princes and shouldn't be treated so lowly"She said slightly upset. He shook her head"What kind of things?"She asked looking at her.



    Khepri smiled And stepped closer to him."Perhaps....lets hope so"She said softly letting him kids all the way up her neck to her lips. She kissed him back.

    "You think it's any better for me? Twenty years ago I was queen of all of Nubia, one of our most powerful and then I was taken in a raid on our capital to be the pharaoh's little mistress" Habibah admitted. She then took Hudiya's wrist and led her to her own personal room that was decorated like a bedroom from Nubia. "I managed to get some spices and some of my old jewelry back" she explained

    Hudiya's temper faded at Habibah's words. She shut her mouth going with her to the room decorated much like home. Hudiya looked to it and looked down dark strand tring to come free of her hairstyle. She wouldn't admit that she missed home missed her father even whom had died at the sword of the man who took her captive.

    Habibah saw a necklace on her table and went to place it onto Hudiya's neck. "To remind you of home my dear" she explained.


    Bonami smiled at the princess beside him and took her hand. "Khepri, would you like to celebrate my victory over the nubians tonight after the banquet by doing something special?" he asked

    Hudiya was quiet wanting to cry but she was too strong for that or that's what she told herself. She blinked when she had paced the necklace on her. She was quiet as she looked at and for once since her arrival have but a small smile"t.thank you"she said quietly.


    Khepri smiled some"something special....sure is love to celebrate your victory"She said with a smile

    Habibah smiled glad to make the young woman happy at least for a moment. She gave her a small hug before pulling away for a moment "If anyone takes that from you, tell me and I'll deal with it. Now I believe we must go help Khepri get ready for tonight's banquet" she said before leaving her private room and motioning for Hudiya to follow.


    Bonami smiled hearing that. "Exactly, just meet me in the garden after the banquet is over. Now go and get ready. I'll see you soon my love" he said before kissing her

    Hudiya blinked and quietly she followed giving a small nod. She followed quietly. She wouldn't say anything to the princess but that didn't mean she had to like her she could still hate the Egyptian princess.


    Khepri nodded smiling some"alright I'll see you soon love"She said and went off to her room where the head hand maiden and the other hand maiden would be to get her ready for the banquet

    Habibah smiled seeing Khepri as she entered the room. "Evening princess, let's get you ready for tonight's banquet" she said as she sat the princess down before the grand vanity in the princess's room and began to style her hair. She motioned for Hudiya to get the red dress out for Khepri to wear for the night
