    Reese noticed Cecilys shocked look and narrowed her eyes at her in a playful friendly manner. Her excuse to herself was that she was just being friendly and initiating Zeref as a new solider. She quickly then glanced back at Zeref before taking another bite of food. Swallowing she replied to him, "Good", she said simply and finished her breakfast.


    Giving Rosemary her plate of food Kahn also made sure to grab some napkins to give the girl as well. "Eat up sugar", he said plopping down next to her and started to eat as well.

    Cecily smiled or well smirked and rolled her eyes before she sat down on the other side of Reese and ate her biscuits quietly..



    Rosemary smiled some happily and ate the biscuits and gravy happily the gravy clung to her face as she ate.


    Zeref grinned some and nodded finishing his food silently.


    Sora glanced to him as she followed the scent coming to a stop after a moment.

    Turning to Cecily, Reese wiped the crumbs off her face before speaking. "As you heard a patrol must go out. If you dont mind when you're done meeting me on the porch when your ready. Take your time eating, not in too much of a rush", she said and stood up from her spot. Starting towards the door Reese knew they needed one more shifter to join them, four makes a strong patrol and if separated they could split into pairs so everyone at least still had someone. "Rani, its been a while, but why dont you join this mornings patrol. I will be out on the porch when your done", she said inviting the young soldier shifter giving the girl a chance to pull her weight. With the people needed invited she was open to volunteers but continued on. "Zeref if your done I can brief you while we wait for the others", she said looking at the panther shifter as she stopping in the doorway of the kitchen.


    Kahn wanting to join a patrol but he wasn't quite ready to leave Rosy aloneso he kept in his seat and finished eating. Every other bite he would look to the little bear cub shifter as she ate and smiled at how the food clung to her face.

    Cecily blinked for a moment and gave a brief nod. Swallowing what she had in her mouth she said."alright I'll be there the minute I finish"she said.


    Zeref stood and gave a nod smirking he stood and followed after Reese"sounds good"he said


    Rosemary smiled as she finished crumbs and bits of gravy clinging to the small child's face.

    Rani nodded. She watched Reese before turning back to her plate. She grabbed another biscuit and ate them slow but not too slow. Once she was done, she got up from the table and went to the porch.


    Annaly and Jaxs grabbed two biscuits and a spoonful of eggs to eat.

    ooc: Aaah, I'm sorry! I did read it, too, but for some reason it didn't register in my brain XD I'm sorry, I'm tired.

    Let's just pretend Cole was making general conversation and referring back to the week before or something? Sorry again, I just struggle to remember all the details when I have to read through several posts that have built up ^^'


    Ic: "I repeat: you people are machines," Cole mocked in reply to Mallory's comment, his reactions a little slow as she offered to pour some coffee for him, "Thanks." He mumbled, holding out his mug for her to pour and waiting until it was three quarters full before saying, "When!" to indicate that she stop. Occasionally his eyes darted up as more people entered the busy kitchen, some of which he had seen before and some of which were completely new to him. Too tired at the moment to make proper conversation, however, he simply retracted his coffee cup and cradled it in his hands. The heat was glorious, and he didn't seem to mind how scalding it was. Blowing briefly across the surface of the dark liquid, he watched the plumes of steam dance and whirl as they were swept over the rim by his gentle breath.


    The next person that entered the room was someone that he did recognise. Reese, one of the first shifters he had met in the manor, had suddenly declared a patrol as well as briefly explaining what she intended to do. He sat for a moment, thoughtfully sipping on the strong coffee and trying not to grimace at the strong taste- he might prefer to drink strong coffee, but it didn't necessarily mean that he liked it- as he pondered asking to go with them. He said nothing for a long while, however, and it soon became apparent that he had decided he would rather stay.

    Matt was sweeping high above the forest now, keen eyes searching constantly for any signs of movement. Once or twice he saw a heard of deer ploughing aimlessly through the trees, snuffling through the frost-carpeted forest floor in search of food; another time, he saw the angry red flash of a hunting fox, though he couldn't be sure whether it was a shifter or not, even after diving down and alighting on a low branch for closer inspection. After taking flight once more, black wings buffeting cool morning air, he flew on for another half hour or so until something interesting caught his eye. Cocking his head to the side curiously, he swept down to take a closer look.


    It appeared to be a manor of some sort, with wide well-kept grounds and many signs of recent life. This was certainly hopeful... Giving a quiet quark of curiosity, he glided down to sit inconspicuously on the precarious but sheltered branch of a pine tree nearby, where he was given a clear view of the comings and goings from the house.

    When Reese reached the porch she leaned up against the railing and looked to Zeref. "The patrol pretty much explains itself. Do you have any questions?", she asked the shifter just wanting to make sure he was good to go before they headed out.


    Kahn kept eating and when he saw Rosemary finishing up he pushed a napkin closer to the child hinting for her to use it. Looking up as he drank some water his eyes were caught by Viviannes red hair. "Hey you got plans for the day?", he asked curious wanting to try and see if he could possibly spend time with her.


    Mallory stopped pouring when Cole said when and set it back on the hotplate before clutching her own coffee with both hands. "Well I'm off for the grove if anyone want to go for a morning stroll with me", she said heading for the back door grabbing a fuzzy cream blanket off of one of the reading chairs as she went.

    "Meh, I'm up for that. After this coffee, I'm now going to have to walk it all off." Cole shrugged, downing another large gulp, then pushed himself to his feet, "Plus, I haven't really taken the time to take a good look around the gardens- I've been kinda obsessed with the inside of this place, let alone the outside. It doesn't have a helicopter pad, does it?"

    Still in his raven form, Matt closely watched the comings and goings of the house. At first, everything had been relatively quiet. After about fifteen minutes of waiting, however, he caught sight of some movement by the entrance. Raising his head, he avidly watched the few figures who stepped out onto the porch. From where he sat, however, he couldn't quite hear the exact words which they spoke. Giving a small quork of irritation, he ruffled his feathers before swooping back into the trees and taking a round-about route, flying out of view before landing silently atop the roof of the porch.

    Zeref gave a nod"no I don't really have any questions regarding the patrol at least"he said giving a small smile.


    Rosemary blinked looking at the making she took it quietly and sniffed it before using it.


    Cecily soon finished and started to head out.

    "The last time I checked, no" Vivianne said nonchalantly to Cole while spreading butter on her slightly burnt toast. She sat on the countertop, her legs swinging underneath her. "Oh and I'll join you in a little Mal." she said, attacking her toast with ravenous hunger. She hadn't eaten much the night before, and she regretted it while she was trying to sleep last night.

    Oliver nodded a goodmorning to the rest of the people in the kitchen and grabbed a piece of toast from the loaf, and poured himself some water.

    "Shame. I guess that means you don't have a hidden army base and machine guns either, huh?" Cole replied impudently, downing the last of the coffee and deciding he would put together some breakfast for himself later. With his body still wishing it was fast asleep, it hadn't quite gotten to the point where it craved a bacon and egg roll.

    "Well I won't necessarily deny that..." She said jokingly, but with some truth in her eyes. "I mean, we do have an armory if that's what your looking for. We've got knives, swords, guns, all kinds of killy killy stuff to play with." She said, finishing the last of the toast and washing her hands.

    "Ooh, 'killy killy stuff' sounds like fun. You need to show me this infamous den of murderous treasures. Right now, though, I think I just need a walk before I fall asleep on the table." Cole replied, tossing his mug into the dishwasher- something which was still strange to him, since he was used to washing everything by hand.

    Vivianne was already walking towards the back door, following Mallory who was already outside(?). "The only people who have the key to access it are Reese and Cecily so you need permission or a reason to go." She said over her shoulder.

    Rani walked on the porch and sat down on the railing. She looked at Reese smiling as they waited on the others who were eating.


    Jaxs and Annaly looked at each other before eating. Once they were done, Jaxs went and got them each a bottle of water, since neither of them drank coffee.

    "Alrighty well seeing that everyone is here lets get this patrol under way", Reese said after everyone showed up. Making her way off the porch she led the way away from the manor and into the forest. Once in the woods she shifted into her panther form taking comfort in having her paws touch the earth. It wasn't as if she was trying to not talk to anyone, if they wished to say something they could and she would respond. Being that all of them were land animal shifters they wouldn't have any eyes in the sky so they would need to be extra vigilant. The panther shifter didn't waste any time leading them in a straight line to the border.


    Kahn felt slightly hurt that Vivianne ignored like she did but he did his best to shrug it off and looked to Jax and Annaly. "How is your leg feeling Annaly?", he asked wanting to make sure that now that a week had past nothing serious was giving her any problems.


    Despite the cold Mallory continued to walk barefoot on the cold almost frozen grass. Channeling her cheetah side she let her body temperature rise to help keep her warm as she enjoyed the crisp clean morning air. When Vivanne and Cole joined her she smiled at them. "I can remember when I thought I would never breath in clean air again, thank God for the peace treaty", she commented. Most places alway had dusty air due to the constant bombing and because of all the dead the air was always heavy with the stink of death. However the air here was quite the opposite and the cheetah shifter was so appreciative.


    Broxious came slowly to a halt not a couple paces away from from Sora. The scent they were following had continued to get even more faint as they continued and was almost non-existant. Giving a small questioning whine he cocked his head at the big cat shifter wanting to know why she had come to a stop.

    Vivianne laughed "Thank God for freedom." She said looking at the plants, many of which were starting to bloom. Mornings were always the perfect time to be outside.

    Oliver made himself some coffee and poured himself a little. Coffee wasn't a morning ritual usually, but today he felt as if he needed an extra source of energy.

    Calla blinked looking to Khan silently for a moment.


    Cecilyfollowed after taking her liger form easily and glanced around ears pricked


    Zeref walked beside Reese thinking nothing of it as the male shifted to his black panther form.


    Rosemary missed a few pieces or spots of gravy on her face as the bear cub shifter got down from her chair and shifted before the cub went down the hall.


    Sora paused glancing around. She sniffed the air before glancing around for a stronger scent. Though the scent only got fainter and her ears flattened a low growl escaped the liguar

    "You can say that again", Mallory said in agreement to Vivannes comment on freedom. "I can't wait for there to only be shifters left in the world cause then there would never be any shifter haters. Like I dont hate all humans, heck I've even had human friends during the war who helped me out and vice versa, I only hate the haters." Mallory said ranting about her feelings like most girls do. "I guess what I'm trying to say is that I hate being pre judged by someone when they haven't taken the chance to get to know me."


    Shifting back into a human Brox looked to Sora, "You loose the scent too? Maybe we should wait for Matt to come back seeing that he has a birds eye view. I'm sure he'll be back soon enough."
