  • Maybe it's a twisted kind of love, Maybe I'm not giving enough!

Under normal circumstances, Obscuro would scoff at the idea of her weekly task, this was riverclan people here should know how to swim, right? Yet time and time again- Obscuro found that thought proven wrong and it's disappointing that they don't know how to even do thier namesake well. Obscuro was well past twisted, and her name meant twisted in latin, so- what where these fish-fuckers doing? Really- it had been so long since she even used that terminology, but obscuro was a little past manners at this point. Sure, she gotten the task as a means of distraction- a while ago. And yet she found herself actually doing it, not because she wanted to but because they needed it.

Thankfully, the sun was out and harsh. Would make the sand painful to anyone who was unused to it, not as hot as it could have been- she would know she lived in a dessert before. But it was enough to sooth the beast, the sun reflecting the worn body like warning sigils. Warming her back and really- a perfect day for sunning- and swimming alike. So there wasn't as much hassel to teach it as there could have been. Still- Obscuro dug out a small relatively shallow ditch next to water's edge for any smaller children that wanted to partake on the lesson- and would serve as a humiliation-time out sort of thing for anyone who disobeyed her. Yes, she was being serious, because people shouldn't be drowning and washing ashore on their clan border. It was ridiculous, and set a frown on the beast's maw as she announced her swimming lessons.

"I'm hosting swimming lessions over here, and before you turn around, were learning how to save a someone from drowning just in case as well." Obscuro knew that other's would consider themselves good swimmers- would think this is unnecessary, but saving a life- seemed to be a great deal here and Obscuro had no idea why- it was just annoying to bury the bodies since no one seemed to think burning was an option.

  • "nice." he personally didn't need swimming lessons because he thought of himself as a pretty good swimmer but some other people may need them. obsy seemed quite grumpy today, however, and he was unsure how he felt about that but he came over anyway. it was really hot today so he went and sat down on the shoreline to wait for more people, water licking at his paws and rump in a cool manner. at least the water was nice.

  • Chance was one of those pathetic members who needed this lesson. Granted, he could swim well enough to support himself for a little bit, but not enough to be able to save someone. Rough waters would also be a little difficult. Practice and proper instruction would be nice. Although, the big scary would was intimidating. Maybe he should just turn around?

No, too late for that now, he was already approaching the shore. "I'll participate." His bark was soft out of nerves. Thank goodness he wasn't the first one there though, and he knew Wi a little. Not knowing the big scary wolf was a little nerve-racking, but Chance didn't want to introduce himself. The stranger would have to first, if at all.

  • Vaughn considered himself a decent swimmer, but he thought it would be good to learn how to save others from drowning and stuff. That sounded pretty important. Though if he was going to be honest, the thought of someone drowning around here had never crossed his mind. He figured everyone here was incredible at swimming. Oops. "I'll join too if uh... that's alright." the corgi would add, sitting down beside the other canine and waiting for class to start.
