  • Blizzardclan. The place had most definitely been his home for the longest of times. True, until now he had been absent from it- but in the past when he had been the head combatant, he had most certainly been a key member. Those times had long passed, but that didn't mean he couldn't come back. It wasn't as though he had been exiled or something else great like that. He had just simply.. disappeared off the face of the earth- unwilling to stand through as much interaction as before. Now though, the electrified canine was back- his lack of power over his elemental influence of electricity still quite clear as it was the day he obtained the power.

Seating himself silently on the border, Matthew would wait patiently for someone to come across him- hoping neither him nor the stranger would end up getting hurt from their little unsuspected meeting.

  • ALEKSEI

Well, that was certainly a creature he had never seen before. Aleksei paused as he glanced over the strange canine-like creature. Thin, with longer ears....hmmm. He would make a note to inquire in some time. He was always intrigued with those creatures that didn't seem to fit the other categories of species he knew better, probably because he himself was one of the types he was interested in.

Aleksei emerged from the foliage, tilting his head slightly to the left so that Matthew was in the full view of his remaining eye. "Joining? Or business?" the paladin commander inquired. Probably the former, the sha did not smell of any other clan he knew.

  • Vaughn had no way to tell who this guy was, but that was only because he joined Blizzardclan last week and he hardly knew anyone, let alone a returning member. That did not make him any less curious as to who Matthew was. He looked... he looked like he knew what he was doing. Like he'd been here before. The canine took a moment to look him over, pretty impressed by his cool appearance. "It'd uh... be nice to know your name too." Vaughn would chime in after Aleksi.

  • It wasn't hard to recognize the male at the border. There weren't many others that she knew with electricity elementals and only one of them was a Sha. Approaching after the others she glanced briefly at each. She couldn't recall exactly when Matt had disappeared, but it was apparently before Aleksei had been born and of course before Vaughn had joined recently. "Matthew, you're back!" she exclaimed with a smile, turning her attention back to the other canine. Only after did it occur to her that the Sha may not recognize her. This wasn't her birth body, plus she had never been close to the other. "I'm Çelina, if you forgot." The wild dog's tail swished back and forth excitedly. It wasn't often that her old friends returned to the Clan, but it was always great when they did so. A small part of her hoped that maybe others would show up again, especially Storm. She hadn't seen her brother for quite awhile.

  • Two strangers. That was what Matthew saw in his odd, glowing gaze. They both seemed to hold different questions as well. One asking for his name- while the other requested his business. The sha did suppose though that this was probably one of the simple ways to battle the cliche statement of 'name and business', in this case splitting the phrase between two different members. Sadly though, the phrase was still told in a rather monotone way, which was a bit disappointing to him. Weren't these creatures excited to see a possible joiner? True, he could easily be seen as an enemy to them- but they just in general seemed to lack emotion in their voices.

Opening his mouth to respond to the two, the male would soon be interrupted as the wild dog came bounding into the scene. Celina? Was it really her? He would have thought most of his friends from when he lived here would be gone by now. True- he had always been much closer to her brother- Storm- but that didn't mean he couldn't still remember her. She had definitely changed forms since he had last seen her though, as she was no longer an arctic wolf like she had been. "Celina? You're still around? Is Storm here too? Or anyone else?" Matthew would inquire in response to the african wild dog. He pretty much just forgot about the guy he was going to respond to- however maybe Vaughn would at least be happy that they now had a name to reference him by.

  • ALEKSEI

Aleksei couldn't care less for a name, hence why he didn't ask for it. There were so many people in BlizzardClan and most of them he really did not care for, which seemed incongruous with his current position as Paladin Commander. No matter, the reputation of BlizzardClan was of greater stake than individuals in the context of things. There was a small snort of annoyance as Celina interrupted everything and Matthew chose not to answer his question, instead addressing Celina. It was obvious that he did not like Celina, for the sake of some petty grudge over a game in the past. Well, there were two others here--he wasn't needed. Aleksei offered no words as he turned away and headed off, leaving Vaugh and Celina to deal with Matthew.

  • Fadingmoon

    BlizzardClan Deputy.
    9 months old.
    Current body: Domestic feline.
    Art done by Desmond.
    Played by Frostsoul~

Ah, so it seemed this was not merely a joiner. It was a person returning, under the same guise as before. She knew that many had tried to return in a new body or under a new alias, for some reason. But this one went by the same name and seemed to have the same body, as Celina had recognized him. So that made her immediately feel more comfortable with him. She didn't like when people snuck around or lied. Putting on a bright smile, the she-cat stepped forward and dipped her head in greeting. "Hey there! My name is Fadingmoon. I'm a Deputy here. As for Storm, I haven't seen him in quite some time but I don't think he actively left? Probably just busy."

  • Looking over to one of the others who had come by- that being aleksei- he frowned. Had he ignored them? He hadn't meant to, but now it seemed as though they were leaving because of it. Rabbit-like ears falling to lay flatly beside his cranium, his yellow gaze would find the ground.

The stare to the ground however did not last long as Fadingmoon was the next to arrive to greet him. "Nice to meet you Fadingmoon- and that's okay. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Storm left. You can't expect people to stick around forever" the sha would respond, giving a slightly disappointed shrug. That was okay- it just meant he would need to find new friends. How hard could that be?

  • Her gaze followed Aleksei, not quite sure why he had chosen to leave. She knew he wasn't the most social, so maybe he just didn't see any reason to be here. And, she wasn't going to try and ask him to stick around, not in the mood to upset anyone. Instead, she was left to think about Matt's question. Was Storm still around? Çelina told herself there hadn't been any formal announcement that her brother had departed, but he had resigned his position in the Clan not long before she noticed his absence. As far as anyone else, the canine couldn't recall who would be familiar with Mattie that was still an active part of BlizzardClan, other than herself.

She was saved from replying by Fadingmoon, as the feline approached to also introduce herself. What she said seemed about right, so Çelina simply nodded. She was silent until hearing the Sha's last statement. You can't expect people to stick around forever. He likely meant no harm by his words, but the wild dog felt her fur bristle slightly. Was it selfish of her to have expected Storm to remain by her side? Perhaps he'd gone to pursue his own desires. Left to find another Clan or to stay alone. Maybe she'd even been the one to push him into making that decision. Their relationship had been strained ever since Çelina had snapped at her sibling. It had appeared as if he'd forgiven her, but it had always been hard to tell what Storm was feeling. "Yeah," she finally said, her voice significantly less enthusiastic than moments ago.

  • Matthew seemed to be a vaguely familiar face and name - however Sweetophelia could not actually determine whether or not she had ever met the dark creature before or if this sense of familiarity was simply a mistake. Nevertheless it was clear that he was a former member of BlizzardClan, returning perhaps? He hadn't answered Aleksei's question. Striding over to join the group, Sweetophelia seated herself beside Fadingmoon, her pale eyes watching Aleksei as the Paladin Commander stalked off before returning to Matthew. "Hey there, it's good to see a former BlizzardClanner. Were you interested in rejoining or did you just come to visit a few old friends?"
