Sandy couloured paws drummed against the ground as she approached, moving at a leisurely pace. It was mid day and the sun was high in the sky, the heat beating down on her back. The air was warm indeed and even she would be glad to seek some respite from the heat. As she approached the border line she was being far from sneaky, a bright tune being hummed as she moved. It was evident that the girl was making no effort to hide her presence.
The feline's black nose was twitching as she approached, the scent of the clan slowly becoming stronger. Then it was as if she'd hit a wall, the scent suddenly filling her senses. Clearly this was the border. Instinctively the lioness came to a halt, her humming (the tune had sounded somewhat like 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star') stopped and with wide doe-brown eyes she surveyed the territory before her. So this was SunClan? The sound of movement caused her rounded ears to twitch, her head turning to the source in time for her gaze to fall upon a clanner coming her way. Perfect.
"Hey," as she spoke a friendly smile lifted up the corners of her mouth. "I'm Lina, short for Carolina. Lovely to meet you." The introduction came with a nod of the lioness's large head and a swish of her hooked tail. "I'm here to join, if there's a place for me that is." Evidently the feline had no problem talking to strangers, brown eyes bright and an easy grin on her maw. Was she concerned about this whole joining process? Not at all. At nineteen moons she figured she was a big girl now. Certainly big enough to get herself into a clan without help.
