  • pretty little psycho

a sleek figure haunted the alleyways on this night, naught but a shadow as they made their way towards bloodclan territory. a ghost perhaps? no, a flash of a pink collar here; the glow of violet eyes in the moonlight there... no, this figure was no ghost. as the 'shadow' reached the hotel, it paused, a small grin forming on the strangers maw as they stepped forwards.

Pale cream fur was illuminated by the quickly dissapearing moonlight, show to be littered with swirls and spikes of golden orange and splashes of pure white; as an overly feminine figure stood tall, watching the hotel from across the street. Butterscotch couldnt help but congratulate herself on making it there relatively unseen, as sh knew firsthand how hard it was to do so... or at least, how hard it had been around the time she was first born.

as the dawn light began to filter into the city, she slowly strode forward, easliy slipping inside as she took a deep breath, hyper aware of every sound as she cautiously walked into what would likely be her new home. she politely waited for someone to notce her presence, expecting of course to be questioned and probably threatened. after all, she was a complete stranger to most, as she wasnt even a member yet.

  • He was squandering again, and he wasn't even aware of it. His nose was scrunched, his ears were still, his eyes were dull from the uninspiring city that bustled and screamed. Nikolaos' body moved like an aimless predatory beast, lanky limbs mechanically shifting one after the other. There was order to each waking step, a systematic approach to his flickering gold hues. His dark, panther-like fur glistened within the reaching, warm light as Nikolaos stopped with a mild twitch to his whiskers. His body was swallowed into the penumbra of trash cans, slinking pass them with gentle steps as he stalked after the cream coat that seemed unfamiliar to the scrawny tom. He halted, taking one whiff of her unfamiliar scent.

"Good evening. Is someone expecting you?"

bright smile gracing her maw, the feminine tabby would daintily sit down, her fluffy til wrapping round her small paws."not particularly, no. i'm simply here to join.... although i do suppose rejoin would be more accurate." she mused, her eyes wandering over Nikolaos' figure. Despite her cheerful demanor, she eyed him up like a wild animal would their prey, a n eerie coldness in her eyes. Her white ear twitched, the feather and flower lodged there rustling slightly.

  • ooc: welcome!! wist here is her brother, so feel free to have her recognize him! <3

He had been minding his own business, per usual, when a familiar scent touched his nose. One so old and dear to him he'd never imagined he would catch it again, but here it was. Pupils growing, his paws quickened their pace until the feminine blue tabby was well on his way towards the border where indeed a cream and white tabby awaited him. Wisteria paused a distance away, gaping, before lunging forward to press his nose to her shoulder, a silent show of affection from the selectively mute cat. Undoubtedly, Butterscotch would know of his affliction and why he did not speak, as he doubted she would have forgotten him so easily.

this time, a true smile would light up the she-cats features as her violet eyes took in the sight that was her brother. unable to hold back her laugh, she cheerfully pressed her own nose into her brothers fur, sighing happily. [b]"Good to see you to Wist..."[/ b] she murmured, before gently prying herself away from him. She didn't expect a reply of course, but she knew her brother had missed her just by his simple display of affection. Of course; Butters had her own little afflictions, so she was understanding enough when it came to his choice of living a life of selective silence.

// cool, and just a heads up that Butterbutt here is going to be a doting and over-protective sister since one of her key traits is the fact she only feels real emotions when around her family

  • Waffle

A little kit ran over noticing the new comer. She smiled to the pretty tabby with a curious tilt of her head. ``Hiya there! I'm Ai, nice to meet you!`` She flicked an ear. The small calico studied the pelt of the new comer carefully, who was she? Anything important that was missing for a while? Probably. Flicking her eyes to Nik she greeted him with a nod before looking back to Butterscotch .

  • ★ ★ ★ -- It had been a long time since she had seen her Butterscotch, really. The calico was grateful to have her children back. She cared for her children; loved them as her own, and it had baffled the calico why some of them had ever wanted to leave. Those few moons without her children within the hotel set Taboa on a worry like no other, on the verge of panic.

And as the tyrant curiously stepped from the doorway of the hotel, her eyes landed on someone familiar.

"Butterscotch." She stated almost monotonously. She had waited for the day when one of her beloved daughters would come back.

"You're here. Welcome home." And Taboa thus stepped forward towards the creamy feline, and made to press her head into the younger one's shoulder.

    "Where've you been?"

  • blatantly ignoring ai in favor of taboa, she allowed her own honey like voice to match her mothers monotone one. "Hello to you to mother..." her eyes widened a fraction as her mother pressed into her fur and emotions rose to the surface, taking the young she cat by surprise. Though she knew they would vanish once she was away from her family, she allowed herself the breif moment of happiness, taking in the wonderful emotion as if it was her only life-line. quickly snapping out of her reverie, she steadied her voice as she spoke once more. " i decided to travel the twolegpace, and since its hard to get people to trust you when your part of bloodclan, i became a loner for a while.... " she did to mention the fact she'd also became a kittypet at one point, as she felt that time had only been spent in such a way due to her blatant need of acollar. it wasnt that she wanted one, no, it was simply that having such an item in the future could be advantageous, which was always a good thing in her book. "but i am home now, for good." she added evenly, wanting to leave no doubt where her loyalties lied.

  • ooc: sweet! that'll be interesting to see with a character as socially handicapped as wist!

Her response earned flattened ears from Wisteria, though she would know it was nothing personal. Still managing a warm smile on his muzzle, he gave her a nod in response, effectively saying, 'I missed you too.' Then, he took a step back so that everyone else could say their greetings without him needing to be so close to their vocal chords. Ai's greeting, of course, made him uncomfortable solely for the fact he didn't understand how one could hold so much social ability in such a small body, but he ignored it for now in favor of the presence of his mother, whom he flashed a grin followed by a nuzzle of his own once she had returned from saying hello to Butterscotch. Her question was one on Wisteria's own mind, so he flopped his head in the calico's direction. The Twolegplace? Hadn't it been absolutely dreadful there? Wisteria couldn't imagine wanting to stay, for the small amount of interaction he'd had with them had been negative enough to turn him away from any future involvement. That in mind, it was obvious why she wanted to stay. But regardless of intentions, he was truly grateful to have her back.

  • She seemed polite enough when she turned around and smiled at him. Nikolaos looked at her with the same contemplating face, expressing little concern over her words as she explained her presence. BloodClan usually attracted the strangest of cats, mostly the edgy ones, but he was almost relieved when she mentioned 'rejoin'. Although he didn't particularly know this feline, it must have meant someone would recognise the cat and that it would be easier to skip over the awkwardness of a normal conversation. Of course, Nikolaos quickly noticed the nuances behind the girl's flickering hues. It was almost as if she was threatening him, but it was easy for the male to drown it out. Most cats looked at him as if he were a free meal. It had never been anything surprising for the scrawny tom.

He turned his head to Wisteria, watching the tabby greet the joiner in his own unique little way. It soon occurred to him the similarity of their ages, and it was confirmed when Taboa appeared and Butterscotch called her 'mother'. He tried not to twitch at the family reunion, but he certainly wondered the complexity of their relationships. Of course, Nikolaos decided not to let it dwell too much as he dipped his head to Ai to return the kitten's greeting. It was only cold to ignore her. Perhaps he'd grown a little fond of the girl. Freya wouldn't mind, Nikolaos would think.
