    Thalassa padded into the area of camp which she knew was the most densely populated and sat neatly with her tail wrapped round her paws.

    "Meet and greet, anyone?" she squeaked out to anyone within earshot.

  • He didn't notice much that was happening these days. Things were stale and not many were doing much. It was one of those lax days he supposed so the leader found himself sprawled out and laying on the hot desert sands dozing. His pierced ears twitched ever now and then perhaps from a dream he was having or maybe something much worse but the voice jolted him from his sleep and he looked around with sand plastered to the side of his face. Coughing a bit the male pushed himself to his paws and he turned around to spot the female and slowly he made his way over eyes narrowed just slightly against the glare of the sun. "Hey there. Name's Jackdaw and who might you be?"

  • Lazy days were good days, in Horizon's opinion. Maybe not every day, but every once in a while was nice. Horizon had been absentmindedly pawing at a lizard, trying to 'catch' it in between his paws when Thalassa had strode into camp. Hearing her words, the devil looked over and waved, causing the lizard to dash off. Damn. There goes his entertainment for the day, but ah well, a meet-and-greet was going on! That was something. Coming closer, Horizon would bark, "Heya. M'name's Horizon." Should he had his surnames? Nah, they weren't really that important.

    She cowered a bit when the two approached her and introduced themselves. What scary-looking individuals! Of course, to Thalassa, everyone was scary-looking, especially given her age and where she was.

    "Um, I'm Thalassa," the little caracal squeaked out, still frightened despite the two clearly meaning no harm to her.

    She looked between the two of them several times, and suddenly her frightened eyes became curious. Scary-looking people like those before her usually were only scary-looking because of one thing....

    "Are you magical??? I like magic!" The young female beamed, barely able to contain her excitement.

  • Amphion whistled a tune from somewhere in the sky, where he flapped in a relaxed circle above their heads, carrying himself with a lazy grace. "Mm, there's no such thing as magic, Thalassa!" he called, fluttering closer to them. "Just rash actions resulting in lucky coincidence. However, I suppose we are a bit of a magical crew, no?" He landed then, talons touching the sand before her as he tucked his wings into his sides. "I'm Amphion, a lowly magpie living among grand wolves," he gestured to Jackdaw, "and sly Devils. What a mix that is, eh?"

    { actions ~ "speech" ~ thoughts }

  • If Thalassa thought Jackdaw and Horizon were frightening (and, to be completely honest, she thought being afraid of Horizon was laughable, even if you were a little kid), she definitely wouldn't like the sight of muscled Barbara as she approached, sharp dagger tucked into her choker necklace. She approached the small child after Amphion, observing her calculatingly. If she wanted to hold a meet and greet, why was she so afraid of everyone? "Hey there, kiddo," she greeted, nodding in silent agreement to Amph's statement about magic not being real. Things might seem magical, but they weren't really - it was just weird things people didn't always seem or understand. "I'm Barbara. Where did you come from?" Was she a child of a Bloodclanner, or had she joined? Barb didn't think she had ever seen her before.

  • The newly-joined male quietly approached the meet and greet, seating himself off to the side and taking a minute to look over everyone. Golden eyes flickered between person and person, occasionally awkwardly meeting another gaze. Okay, this was going to be fine. He just had to meet people... But approaching anyone didn't exactly seem enjoyable. So, he sat, waiting and raising a paw to his mouth to quietly groom himself.

  • Honestly the fact that Thalassa seemed spooked by him really seemed to boost Horizon's already high-and-mighty ego. He always thought he was frieghtening (Devils got their name for a reason, no?), but to some people that might not be true. And he was trying his damn hardest to prove he was vicious as his words can be. Then again, Thalassa was only a kid, wasn't she? Kids are always easily spooked.

    "No magic?" The devil echoed Amphion's words with a snort of amusement. "Bullshit. I, for one, do have powers. And so do other people. Whether or not I can use them is one thing." He liked controlling electricity through elementals, but shhh, nobody has to know that. To Thalassa, he said, "So, yeah. I'm magical."
