Background/Bio: Normal Girl before a bombing incident, which sent her into a different freaking universe. SO she chose the easiest path once she was nursed back to health by a top secret group. Become a part-time mercenary, of-course.



Ability 1: Tech. Jam: Let loose a wave of high-frequency sound to stun opponents and shut down all electronics withing a 30 ft. radius



Ability 2: Hand Cannon: Self explanatory



Ability 3: Dead-Shot: Use her thermal indicators to seek & snipe out multiple targets.. High quality technology is used that often results in the loss of limbs, gaping holes, or 3rd degree burns.



Ability 4: Spark-up: Her own personal brand of encouragement. Seldom used, but boosts/charges her teammates ult completely



Ultimate Ability: Sy. Over: High Voltage shock detonates and emits from specialized pores in her exoskeleton. Fire stuns while the "lightning" tends to incapacitate. Friendly fire tends to happen quite often, allies are advised to stay clear while she has at it.



Extras: She's literally 90% cyborg. People often mistaken her for an omnic when her visor is down, much to her annoyance. The only visibly human part of her left is her left cheek and eye (which is partially heterochromic from contact and impact from iron).

It was an average day in California for Riley, who's only a month away from graduating her senior year of High-school. For a conservative, she's doing pretty well in a politically left city, which is unexpected for a hick town. It's one of her holidays, and she's taken the week off (perks of her nailing employee of the month a few times in a row, people just seem to like her patience with piercings and art-style), and is heading to her grandparents, only having just picked up her baby cousin Adriana (who she affectionately calls Addy) moments before.

'Maybe I should lay off of Fan-fiction for a bit more,' she thinks to herself while talking to Addy about the hype of the new Metal Gear game out. Fortunately, she's good at multitasking. Unfortunately for her though, her small city has become victim to terrorist attacks, and her and her cousin are their first victims.

Riley had little time to react when a bomb went off on Kentucky, rocking the ground beneath their vehicle (a run-down faded 79 Mustang Cobra), then throwing them violently in a 2-ton death roll.

"Oh FFFFffffff-" 'Oh sh*t, oh no,no,no,no,no...' Were her last coherent thoughts before instinctively diving for her baby cousin, and throwing her sister out of the car before slamming into another 4 tons of steel, ending in her world going black.

When Riley woke up, she did so in a groggy haze, like after her first hangover. Sluggishly trying to move, she screams when she lifts her battered back off the cement; but notices she cant. Trying to focus her vision...

'Oh, no no no no no no,' She chants to herself, wondering about her safety and realizing she cant see from her right eye, vision blacked out, and running red and blurred in her left. In hysterics, she cries out when her tears burn as they slide down her very marred face, and she see's she's pinned between two heavy vehicles as she's trying to call out for help.

Falling back to the warm concrete, she realizes how cold she is before her consciousness leaves her yet again. Though, she can't even notice frantic voices over an intercom and heavy footsteps approach her.

Riley startled awake with a gasp, her one brow left furrowing under... soft fabric??? She can't see anything, but she's in a sterile smelling room. But there are obviously people, if the chatter blending in with the soft beeps and whirring of many machines were to give anything away. She whimpered, suddenly aware of a harsh pain engulfing her body.

"Oh!" She herd a soft voice exclaim. "Jack look, her heart rate- I think she's awake!" Oh boy, that lady sounds waaayyyyyy too excited for her liking. Especially since she feels like she just got hit by a bus- oh wait. She was PINNED under one, she remembers that much.

"Finally." Hold up, this guy sounds mighty familiar. "It's been two weeks since her emergency operation. Hey, Rose; maybe we should take the patch off her good eye?"

She gasps as sticky fabric pulls at her skin, scrunching up her nose as both blurry people in the room chuckle at her reaction. "Wh- aughhhh-"

"Shh, hey don't try to talk yet, we just got your body to take to your new vocal cords." Huh, is that why she feels like she chugged a gallon of sulfuric acid?

'Oh, come on lady.'

"Buhhh-" She cut her own self off this time with a nasty wheeze "Whhhheee- whe.....rrrrrrr?" All she wants to know is where she's at and if her cousin's okay.

'Please let her be close-by and safe...'

"Hey now, hey!" She was attemptedly reassured by Rose, the blurry lady in the room. "I'll let you know in a minute okay? But first, we're going to run a few tests while you're awake to make sure you're recovering nice, and you're safe." The lady cooed.

'Very reassuring, when you wake up in an unfamiliar hospital, and you should be dead.' Riley couldn't quite hear their whispering but she notices the man 'Raiden,' she realized left the room. In a hurry, too? Is he going to see someone important ((Ha ha, get the queue?)) She looked at "lady," and nodded as best she could. Sure, she'll put up with a few tests if- holy sh*t....

"Ahhhh- I...." She was startled again as a metallic film slid over her right eye, and a cold plate solidified over her face.

Chuckling at her reaction, Rose was quick to inform her of what was going on. "Sweetie, we're going to put your sight online, okay??" She almost whispered, too quiet for the injured guest to pick up.

" Your body was very, very damaged when Raiden retrieved you from that nasty wreckage. We had to... improvise a few repairs while practically building you a new body. It's a miracle that you even survived..." She trailed off, noticing Riley's staring from behind the visor. "You getting this?" She asked, and received another nod before continuing. "We used technology that's still experimental, but far more advanced than any that we've previously used to enhance people." Oh.... Is this why she can't really move??? Because they have her in an artificial body that her CNS has yet to adapt to???

Jack let out a huff as he entered the second patient's room. He's not too worried about her, though... This one doesn't have the potential to be dangerous- Oh, she's awake. How long has she been left to lie in pain before receiving his attention?

"Hello, there." He almost gasped, voice soft so he doesn't startle the second patient.

After twenty minutes or so of testing, and messing with her systems, she was finally left alone.

'If they think I'll stay put if there's a chance Addy is here, they're very mistaken...'

Picking herself up with shiny, shaking new cybernetic limbs; Riley stumbles off her bed and through her room, dragging her multiple drips along with her.

"Ahhh- ouch..." She winces as her pain receptors go off, when her cart rips over a track and- hold on. This means there's a room....

Maybe if she just- she stumbles into the next room, startling both people inside it, and putting the man who's looming over a bed on alert. She almost growls, her burning vocals sounding like a breaking breaking computer when she's grabbed harshly.

"You- What're you doing out of your room!?" She winces as Raiden raises his voice.

'Geez man, calm down everything's running good right now. Even if getting up hasn't been cleared.'

"Mmmmahhhh.... My couzzzzzz... cousin...." She manages to growl out, face contorting with dislike because of how awful her voice sounds. Yeesh, she sounds like a dying dog in a desert. Hopefully this won't scare Addy....

"ahhh- Addy..." She croaked out, managing to somehow push the professional killer aside to stumble over and hug her cousin. Ooh jeez, look at her arm...

'Oh god, I thought you were hurt worse than this.' She cries, sobbing into her cousin's chest, ignoring Jack who's clearly baffled by the two.

Apparently there's no protocol for a patient ((ehem, experiment)) leaving and then... Finding a relative they weren't aware the patient had. He should probably leave and tell boss and Rose both girls are up. And maybe tell them about the one who just woke up after two weeks, then managed to manhandle him.

"Uh..." He squeaks. "Hey!" He tries to catch their attention. He needs to let them know he's going to leave the room for a while!

Riley let out a rather broken chuckle, cutting off at a rasp that made it sound like she's choking.

'Ooh boy, this is. Jeez, this is gonna be fun to explain.'

"Ahhddy..." She drawled. " 'eeezzzzzz for- frrruuuhhhhmm." She clears her throat before finishing the rest of her broken sentence.

"Met-uhlll Gearrrrrr."

'Wait... Didn't think this- oh sugar honey ice tea, we're in metal gear.'

Jack hurried as fast as he can, conversing with Snake and Rose as best as he could about the two mysteries' behaviour.

"They're right in here..." He drawls, pointing into the room with the two girls, the test subject everyone's voiced concern over hunched over the bed; clearly attempting to talk. Hopefully thiswill grab their attention now.

Trying to smile as best as she could with a synthetic jaw, Riley nods in reply.

'Only you, Addy would downplay a freak accident.' She thought to herself. 'Talking doesn't hurt, it just itches and it's bothersome.'

But imagine the stuff they could do now... Actually, let's not; because 9/10 times in situations like this, someone ends up injured or dead.

"Ahem..." Jack grunted, clearing out his throat to catch the two girl's attention. "As heart warming as this is, ladies, we'd like to speak with you now that we know you can both function... as normally as you can while awake."

"And you," Lady (Rose) pointed at Riley. "We talked about you using your vocals. Your body can't handle the strain of using them yet, the pain feed we've gotten back every time you've attempted to say something is incredibly high."

Riley couldn't decide who to focus on yet... Exchanging looks between the "strange" adults, and her cousin.

'Addy, I feel you. Man, who would've thought they'd act like this, huh?'

"Do you two ladies understand or know what happened to you?" The man Riley recognized as the main character of the franchise asked.

"Yes, and following up on that lovely question, can you guess what might happen to you if you don't cooperate with us?" Rose followed, looking up from a clipboard with an intense look.

'Ohhhhhh, so this isn't some prank from the family???' She tries piecing everything together, but nothing adds up. Her inner nerd KNOWS people wouldn't survive getting thrown into another universe, their body won't be able to... handle the strain. Is that why most of her had to be replaced?
