"Don't forget next time you come to the host club I'll make sure there is carrot cake," Shido said.

"Noted." Saya said in response as she slightly slouched forward.

"You okay?" Shido asked. "You're really quiet this morning."

"Fine." Saya responded with a small dismissive wave of her hand.

Shido nodded.

When they arrived, Saya was moving to get back out of the car and glancing up at the school's entrance just a moment.

Shido got out on the other side of the car and slung his backpack over his back.

Saya then began to head toward the entrance after a quick glance his way, own bag over her shoulders.

Shido waved goodbye to her and headed for his first class.

Saya gave her own wave as she headed toward her first class as well.

Shido had gone outside to eat lunch. He had a book on his lap like he'd been reading it but he was ignoring it and talking to a rather pretty girl who had sat down by him.

Saya had been a little later to lunch, giving a huff as she made it - picking up her lunch and glancing around a moment before she'd head outside instead, soon stumbling across the small scene, though quirking an eyebrow was all she really did, sitting somewhat nearby but leaving him to it.

Shido laughed at something the girl said then noticed saya was near by. "Hey saya come join us!" He called.

Saya cast him a glance, after a few moments she'd finally comply as she shuffled over, sitting once she'd made it over.

"Hey Saya," Shido said smiling. He didn't seem to realize why it might bother her he was talking to another girl. "There was a quiz in math today and I passed thanks to you, it was kind of a pre-test on what it covered. Oh this is Luene," he added motioning to the girl he'd been talking to then introduced Luene to Saya.

"Hey..." Saya murmured in response, gaze pulling to her lunch instead. "Glad to hear it." She then said before glancing up as he introduced the girl, giving a nod in a half-hearted greeting, managing a smile as well.

Luene soon spotted a friend and told Shido she'd be back in a bit and ran over to talk to another girl. She left her lunch there with them. "You okay?" Shido asked now that they were alone for a little bit.
