  • Of all the things the ivory-furred lioness was, ignorant was not on that list. Flirtatious, provocative, bold, those things she was, but no matter her personality she always remained vigilant. RiverClan had many enemies to account for, enemies that were bold and not restricted by the typical moral constraints that most individuals were borne in to. Perhaps these things were all contributors to why when she was captured, it appeared she'd put up a pretty big fight. The clearing in the tropical forests of RiverClan territory was ravaged, deep scores lay in the soil from where large back paws had dug into the soft earth to spring forward. There was blood smudged and pooled in several areas, and the undergrowth was all but annihilated by, what appeared to be, a rather violent spar between two big cats. Fur was tufted on rough spots, ivory and black. Well, given her pale figure there was no guessing that her attacker had been dark furred. Judging by the stench that clung to the clearing as well it was clear they'd also been in the exiles.

Strangely enough there was even a few feathers scattered about, perhaps they were winged? No matter, what mattered is that Mira was missing and if the gruesome scene left behind said anything, she was badly injured as hell.

( yo yo yo mira has been captured by the exiles so obv all her posts her will be retro to her capture until her return, she won't need a rescue raid as she's got a hella plot in play but if riverclan wants to attack and not find her or fail that's obv A okay ! ♥ )

  • Who would have guessed that Ghostcountry's late afternoon walk through the jungle would end up with him stumbling upon a crime scene. As soon as he entered the tiny, dirt clearing, he picked up a foreign scent. Someone had been here, and with a quick scan of the area, his suspicions were confirmed. It was hard to miss the deep cuts left in the soft soil, and the chunks of white and tan fur scattered around. Ghostcountry's nose also picked up on the pungent, iron-like smell of blood. "Ramses! Desmond! Anybody! Something horrible has happened here!" He yelled into the jungle, praying that someone nearby would hear him. Part of him didn't want to believe it, but it appeared that Mira had been the victim here. It was her fur scattered around the clearing, and her unique scent left behind on a few overturned stones. After a moment of silence, Ghostcountry would add, "Someone took Mira!" Their second in command was gone.

Making sure to avoid stepping on any of the evidence, the German Shepherd would examine the tracks left behind. There was evidence of Mira, and another big cat, but he wasn't sure. A few paces away from a trampled patch of shrubbery, several feathers were tossed about. Ghostcountry looked at one of them closely, noting the length of the feather. It was too long for your typical jungle bird, meaning that it had to be the attacker's. However, it didn't make any sense to him. How could a feline have feathers? Feathers were unique to birds! And how did the intruder sneak past the border? Was there more than one enemy? Taking a deep breath, he would make his way back to the edge of the clearing. As soon as someone else arrived, they could try to identify the enemy's Clan, and issue a group of warriors to negotiate Mira's return.

  • wi could hear someone shouting, in a scared fashion at that. that worried him. and because it worried him, he hurried past the beach and straight into the jungle, his pace picking up when he detected it as ghosty shouting in a panic. why was he in a panic? what had happened? as he was speeding past the undergrowth, the tang of blood hit his nose like a hit from a rock against your head. instead of stumbling it made him go faster and he skidded to a halt beside ghosty, eyes wide at the sight. it smelled of riverclan and another scent. "someone took mira!" ra ra? someone took ra ra? no. that wasn't possible! she was a big strong lion.

his rounded ears were perked with such a fiery caution as he edged closer, spotting white tufts of fur mixed with much darker clumps. there was blood, lots of it, and worst of all- it was definitely ra ra's. instantly, tears sprung to his eyes at the thought of his aunt being hurt or worse.. no! he couldn't think about that. he sucked in a deep breath, holding back what was threatening to spill over as his canines tugged on his lower dark lip. he was a big strong lion after all, he couldn't break just 'cause of this. he sat down on his rump, glaring at the blood as he tried to overcome this mentally- as it was a big blow to him.

  • "Someone took Mira!" She didn't know the source of the voice, but she'd been out and about in the jungle when she'd heard it. The words had caused the sandy coloured lioness's heart to all but stop, one paw freezing in the air mid step. Mira. Someone took Mira. Her sister. An icy feeling was taking hold of her chest and yet she didn't want to think it was true. She'd only just been talking to her before. She couldn't be gone.

Her heart was racing as suddenly she moved, the broad-shouldered creature suddenly picking up speed in a quick run. She couldn't be gone. She couldn't be. The muscular feline burst into the clearing, her eyes immediately falling upon a white German Shepherd. He, she assumed, was the source of the noise. They hadn't met yet and the normally bubbly Carls was suddenly not interested in wasting the time introducing herself for she had far bigger fish to fry. There was also a cub as she recognised him from when Jas had joined; his name was Wimund and Mira had mentioned he was their nephew or something...? Now was not the time for an official introduction.

The girl's pale eyes left the two to see the scene. There was blood. Everywhere. Lots of it. And fur - ivory fur that was unmistakably Mira's. The sight made her want to be sick, her stomach twisting in knots. Her muscles tensed and a huff of air escaped her. Carly was usually one of the most level-headed people around, certainly more so than Mira. But she loved her sister and she was going to get her back. Now! A snarl escaped from her curled lips as her gaze moved up to the canine for a second.

"I'm going to get her." Her words weren't a question of if she could or even if the captain - that Ramses guy - would let her. She was going. "She's my sister. And anyone who hurts her is dead to me." They were family. They stuck up for each other and whether Ramses liked it or not, she was going. Now. With that the feline moved, leaving the scene instantly. She meant it, she was going to get her and she was going to go do it now. Had she thought about the fact that she could potentially get in trouble? No, but she often didn't think. Turning back for a moment before she vanished through the bushes. "You can come if you'd like but I'm going now," that was to Ghost and now she turned to the kid. "I don't want you to follow. She loves you - get your ass back to camp, kid. Fetch Ramses or someone."

THIS IS [open + riverclanner] WAR ]

  • ・゚✧ you're the judge, oh no, set me free !
Newt arrived soon after Carly, eyes briefly glancing over the blood before he let out a whine. It was mostly out of frustration that the deputy had been captured, but there was an undertone of worry as he caught a whiff of the Exiles. Oh great, his least favorite anti-clan. "Let's go." There was no use in arguing with the lioness, it was obvious that nothing would change her mind. And if was one thing was certain, it was that she should have at least one other person to cover her in case something bad happened. He wasn't going to stand around while a clan-mate goes charging into battle.

  • TAGS | ✦ ✧ ✦Gone so soon. The thought was the only thing streaking through his mind as he approached the scene, all of the evidence laid out before him. He pulled up beside Carly, bright amber eyes searching for clues. They were everywhere, and it showed that Mira hadn't been taken by surprise, which was a good sign that for now she could take care of herself and that she wasn't in dire need of a rescue. Be that as it may, Carly was impulsive, and emotional, and while he also cared for Mira, he could see that brashness here wasn't necessarily helpful. He wouldn't be able to get her to back off however, and he knew that.

"B-best of luck, Carls. Get her back, please." He muttered to her, turning away from the scene and heading back towards camp. Surely she would understand that in this instance he would be useless. He was not built for a battle, and given his personality, even if he had gone, he would have been too paralyzed by fear and anxiety to do anything useful.

As much as he liked Mira, one would expect Ramses to be fraught with as much worry as it seemed everyone else was. He should be racing after her, pulling his hair out with worry, crying and stressing - but, he wasn't. The large canine approached the scene with a detached curiosity, smelling the blood and making assumptions of what the struggle was. Obviously Mira had been heavily wounded and captured, but Ramses wasn't worried. It wasn't apathy that kept him cool as a cucumber, no - he had faith in Mira. The Exiles had taken her but he was confident that they would soon realize what a mistake that had been. She was Mira, for fucks sake. Whoever had deigned to do this would regret it dearly. He knew everyone was concerned about her, but that was no reason to start making decisions for themselves. Irritation bubbled up as he arrived just in time to watch Carly and her posse run for the hills. Of course, if they had simply asked him he wouldn't have denied a raiding party - as her sister, it was her right to want to rescue Mira. Ramses was always down to decimate his enemies. But they hadn't asked, and that was what made the difference. His dark face wore a foreboding expression as he watched them go with cold orange eyes. He would deal with them when they got back.

  • Hearing his name being called out was odd, strange even. It wasn't something he thought he would have to deal with here of all places. But it was in urgency and thus the doberman had come as quickly as he could to see what this was about. His ears picked up the sounds as he neared and he allowed a frown to pull at his lips. Mira was captured. Was she a POW or something of the sort? It was strange to believe that his place would have such a thing and his hackles began to raise just a bit. But it was foolish to just bound forth toward an enemy expecting to get someone back. So Carly was playing to fool's part in all of this and that made him more worried for her than for Mira currently. If they didn't play this right Mira could end up dead and that was not something he nor Riverclan needed at the moment. A breath escaped him before he shook his head and looked at Ramses who just stood there. Was he not going to go after them, stop those he claimed to have leadership over. He could do it, he had the authority. Damn it. He moved then pressing forward to go and stop this senselessness.
