  • Chara glanced out the window, wondering when they'd arrive and get rid of Paul so they could start on the Wendigo case. She always found Wendigos interesting. A pain to hunt down and kill, but interesting.

Sam wondered for a moment if it was a smart idea to take Aiden with them on a Wendigo hunt. Taking him to roast a ghost was one thing, but Wendigos were much more dangerous.

Alexis tapped her chin as if in thought, "Well, we do have to sleep at some point... And eat. Plenty of time for both." She grinned.

  • "Right. We'll all be there to help you Aiden. That's our job, after all. To help people, no matter what. " she avoided the previous conversation. Looks like she'd said the wrong thing. She didn't mean to of course, she had only bluntly stated how she felt. Of course she had het exceptions too in hunting. But she didn't acknowledge that mistake aloud. Rather she kept her focus on the road, getting lost in her own thoughts until they arrived to the destination. She parked the car on the curb of the street and cut the engine, sitting in the silence for a moment, taking in the darkened by night environment around them."Hope you're all ready incase somethin' happens. " Alea warned. Without another word, She was out of the car and headed to the trunk of her car. She opened it up and pulled out the top layer. Underneath was her weapons. Alea pulledo ut her flashlight and went ahead and grabbed one of the many shovels she had stored back there. She kept the trunk up so the others could get some too and whatever else they needed, and made her way to the dark house that rested in front of them. The light brunette kept her eyed sharp and alert, as well as her ears, listening like a predator searching for it's prey. She now had her game face on, ready to tackle anything that was thrown at her. Not literally. Well maybe in a sense, literally. She stood in the front yard when she heard the sound of boots crunching on the crisp grass. She tensed a little, staying perfectly still and turning off the light so not to draw attention to herself. She had her gun out at this point, resting tightly in her grasp at her hip, the shovel now on the ground after the hunter had slowly bent down to set it there before going still. Alea strained her concentration into the direction of the noise of grass being stepped on, watching the area carefully with adjusting eyes.

  • Chara and Sam had exited the car as well, following Alea to the trunk of her car and looking over her weapons.

Sam grabbed a shovel, he had brought his own gun with rock salt bullets. He followed Alea towards the house, since she had the flashlight. Upon heading the sound of footsteps, he dropped low, motioning for Chara to do the same.

Chara clutched the tire iron she had subconsciously picked up before leaving the motel room. She made sure to keep an eye on Aiden, and make sure he was following. While inspecting Alea's weapons, she snagged a thing of light duty rope and turned to the man. She gave an apologetic look before invading his personal space and wrapping the rope around his waist. She gave it a few tugs to make sure it would hold and she did the same to herself, tying the rope around her own waist, "This way I don't lose you and if anything tried grabbing you-bonus, the get me too." She explained quickly. Without wasting anymore time, she pulled him in the direction Sam and Alea had headed. Seeing the woman and her half-brother crouching with the light turned off, Chara quickly lowered herself, gesturing for Aiden to do the same. A finger to get lips told him to keep quiet as well.

  • Dean glanced back at Alexis and gave a slight shrug before smiling. "Yeah." He responded in agreement. "Let's hope we get to celebrate a job well done tonight too, have a few rounds before crashing." He then turned back and entered the house. He returned shortly with Alexis' bags and headed to the Impala, signalling for the woman to follow. He tossed Alexis' bags into the backseat before sliding into the drivers seat and starting up the car. "Let's get rollin', sweetheart."

Aiden glanced at Alea when she spoke, giving a little nod of his head and saying thanks. He soon fell silent again, kind of enjoying the quietness the filled the car. The man frowned once he got sight of the house, realizing that this was there destination. He nervously bit his lip and slowly slid out of the car after Chara. His eyes widened when he caught sight of the weapon filled trunk, gazing at all the items. He looked up when he saw Chara step closer, brows furrowing when he saw the rope. Aiden allowed her to tie the rope around his waist, even if we was rather confused. He jerked a bit when she had pulled on the rope and watched as she tied it around her waist as well. "Oh, it's uh... fine, I guess?" Aiden responded to her words, keeping his voice down. He trailed behind the woman when she began to head to the old house. The man was growing rather nervous about this, second-guessing his choices. He did what the others had, crouching down beside Chara, giving a little nod at her gesture.

  • "Couldn't agree more." Alexis said as she slid into the passenger seat of the Impala, buckling in her seatbelt before they took off. She glanced out of the window to look at the passing neighborhood, hoping they would be successful and the residents would be able to live peacefully again.

    *Waiting*

  • The hunter was solely focused on tracking the loud sound of the footsteps as they grew nearer. When the did, the sound of the bushes that sepearted the yards rustled loudly as a figure stepped out. Another one followed. Smaller than the first.

"Hey! Keep it quiet, Allen! " hissed the taller. "You're gonna have them damn FEDS come and investisgte. Didn't you hear'em pull up? " The smaller responded in a quieter voice. "Sorry, Kyle! But you can't really help but be loud in a thorny bush. And this was your idea to follow'em, not mine. With you're weird consipracy theories about FEDS bein involved with supernatural beings. Whatever the hell that means. I mean, who thinks of that! "

"Hundreds of people. They're not just FEDS, they're the Men in black! They hunt aliens too y'know. Now shut your mouth and help me try and get inside, before they come back from where ever they went. " Kyle huffed and stomped his way up the rickety steps, scuffling along to try and find the closed door. The Allen person grumbled and followed along.

From the way these two sounded, they were merely curious college students, snooping around in the wrong area at the wrong time.

Alea glanced back to Sam with serious look on her face, shaking her head, but never said a word. She glanced back to Chara and Aiden then made her slow way up to her standing height. Now that she knew they weren't a threat, she flicked on her flashlight and shined it at them. "Hey! You two! What do you think you're doing running around in the dark! Don't you know there's a curfew for people around here! " Alea shouted.

The two males screamed in high pitched voices and whipped around. In a hurriedly fashion, they scrambled off the porch. Without a thought, they dove off the sides of the porch only to land in thorny rose bushes. Both let out a screech and struggled to get out, but failing miserably.

"Damn it Allen!!!!!! I told you to shut up! "

"We wouldn't be in this mess if you would've just listened go me! Now we're gonna get arrested you asshole! I don't wanna go to jail and get plugged!! " Kyle whined

Alea couldn't help but watch and stifle a loud laugh at the chaotic funny moment. infront of her and plus at their words. She wanted do badly to laugh, but she forced herself not to. Huffing Alea made her way to the bushes they were both in, and shined the light directly on to them. The sight of them brought more laughs to her as she was the way they were dressed. It was like a classic 90's camo party on these two, including the damn kids plastic helmets and ridiculous camo face paint. "What in the hell are you two doing, playing army?Arent you a lil old?" It was taking everything in her not to laugh right now. This was suppose to be a serious moment during a serious hunt! And these two laughingstocks ruined the mood! Dammit!

The boys paused, stared up and they looked at each other before looking back up nervously. "Uuuhh.... " came the dumbfounded reply from Allen.

  • Aiden was silent as he stayed where he was, still crouching down low. He unconsciously held his breath when he heard the sound of footsteps, brows furrowing at the thought of it being the ghost of Paul. Though when the man had caught sight of what was making the noise, he let out a breath, raising his brows a bit at the two figures. Aiden continued to keep quiet, a slightly confused expression appearing on his face as he listened to what the two boys were saying. He had caught sight of the look Alea tossed at Sam, jumping a bit when the woman suddenly got up and shouted at the two boys and when the boys had shrieked. Aiden hadn't been expecting any of this. He listened to the boys bicker and leaned towards them and around the others to try to get a look at them. A look of complete confusion was instantly on his face when he saw what they were wearing. "....What in the world?" Aiden mumbled under his breath.

Dean had turned on the radio while he drove, occasionally tapping his fingers against the steering wheel. He had his phone at his side so he could check the address, making sure he was heading the right way. He was honestly quite glad that they were rather close to the place. Soon, after a few minutes of driving, Dean had finally pulled onto the street the old beat up house was on. He caught sight of Alea's car and pulled in behind her, cutting the engine and glancing towards the yard. His brows instantly furrowed when he saw Sam, Alea, Chara, and Aiden there but what really got to him where the figures that Alea's flashlight was shining on. He'd suspected that the group would already be working on getting the grave dug up. Dean tossed Alexis a look before getting into action, quickly pocketing his keys before sliding out of the car. He made sure he had his handgun on him, planning on grabbing one of the sawed off shotguns when he got a chance, and headed towards the group. "What the hell's goin' on here?" Dean called out to Alea as he approached the woman and the two others who seemed to stuck in a bush.

  • Chara and Sam stood once they realized it was only a couple of kids. The two shared a look.

    "Paranormal investigators?" Chara guessed.

Sam shrugged, "Or just nosey kids."

Chara nodded, knowing it was all too possible. Hearing the familiar sound of the Impala, Chara turned to see Dean and Alexis pull up and get out of the vehicle after they parked. She raised an eyebrow as Dean called out and made his way to Alea and the kids, "Umm..." She mumbled, "Should we have those idiotic kids from the wrath of Dean?"

Sam debated for a second, unsure of the answer to that question, "Let's wait a moment first."

Alexis didn't follow Dean to the house, rather she veered off to go to the small group standing to the side. "What's going on?" She asked once she was close enough, hitching a thumb over her shoulder towards the house.

Sam shrugged, "Couple kids maybe followed us, said something about Me In Black and FEDs."

Alexis let out a chuckle, before her eyes caught sight of the rope attached to both Aiden and Chara's waists. She pointed to it quizzically, "What is that?"

    "Uh... Rope." Chara answered.

    "Why....?"

Chara shrugged again, "Dean said he was my responsibility. I didn't wanna lose him like in the movies, you know, the new guy wanders off alone and bad shit always happens. Plus, if ghost Paul tries to nab him, he nabs both of us."

Alexis burst out in a fit of laughter.

  • Alea stared, waiting for a reply and looked agitated when they just stared back. "Cats got your tongues? C'mon. Get up, get outta these bushes. " she ordered, waving her flashlight towards her to signal them. "Curfews early tonight, boys. Go home and lock your doors. You shouldn't be prowling these parts especially with all these deaths. " Alea was almost scolding the younger, giving them a tiny lecture as the Impala pulled up and the two they'd been waiting on climbed out. She heard Dean yell to her and she turned to face to him and explain what was going on as he walked up. "Caught a couple of kids snooping around here! Talking about FEDS and Men in black, and supernatural beings. The weird conspiracy junk. You know how kids are, Detective. " She hoped Dean would play along as a said detective. Maybe she was just trying to scare the kids to get them home. . Or maybe trying not to blow their cover.

"Seee I told you it was weird! " Allen hissed as he attempted to get up, grunting in pain. He ended up falling back into the pushes with a yelp at his failed attempt. Kyle froze up to the word 'detective'and went a bit pale."Are you really worried a. . About that now. " he whispered back. Nonetheless, he untangled himself free and stood up slowly, wincing from the throns embedding his skin. Allen was next muttering a series of curses and 'ows ' under his breath. "We were just um. .checking out this house. . For um. A hang out psot. . You know. . . Just to hang out. . N stuff. " Came Kyle's stammering response. Now thst he was facing "authorities" he was a completely different person from earlier that they'd seen. The bold, brave and convincing man thst had dragged his friend into practically their own murders.

Alea casted a look to Dean, looking skeptical. They were lying through their teeth right now.

  • Dean 's gaze landed on Alea when she turned to face him, listening to her explanation and instantly catching on as she called him detective. He tucked his gun in the back of his jeans and covered it with his shirts and jacket as he moved to stand beside the woman, crossing his arms against his chest and looking the two younger men over. A look of confusion and slight amusement was on his face for a moment when he noticed their camouflaged outfits before his expression turned stern once more. Dean listened to their explanation, instantly seeing right through their lie. And it seemed like Alea did too with the look she tossed towards Dean. The hunter sighed and looked the two younger men over again and then towards the house before looking back at the two. "Yeah. An abandoned house is the safest place to be hangin' out at." Dean spoke up sarcastically, "Especially if you're wearin' military giddup." They didn't have time for dealing with people like this, especially since they were so damn close to getting rid of Paul. Dean didn't give the two time to respond before speaking again, his tone more strict. He moved to help the other boy out of the thorn bushes, practically hauling him out by the jacket. "Look, why don't you two get the hell outta here before I drag you down to the police department and have you arrested to trespassing on private property."

Aiden stood when the half siblings did, his gaze flickering over onto Dean and Alexis when they pulled up. He frowned a bit and watched Dean make way for Alea and the two men before glancing at Chara when she commented on it, his lips quirking up into a small smile. Aiden's attention though went to Alexis when the woman made her way over to the three of them, listening to Sam and Chara explain everything to Alexis. The man's brows raised a bit when Alexis pointed out the rope him and Chara were connected too. He couldn't help but blush in embarrassment when Alexis began to laugh. Sure it was a good idea, but he did see how it could look pretty stupid. Aiden glanced at Chara and gave a bashful little grin.

  • "Should we let those to take care of the kids while we go ahead and get started?" Sam wondered aloud.

Chara waved Alexis's laughter off, "Don't sorry about her." She commented to Aiden upon his bashful look, "I'm just being cautious until you can handle yourself. Any one of these guys would do the same.

Alexis only chuckled now, but it was dying down, "Sure we would, but not all of us would tie the poor kid to our hip. That is a good idea, though, I'll admit." Hearing Sam's question, she thought for a second before nodding, "Yeah, that'd probably be best. You guys know where it's at, so you go on and I'll let them know." Without another word, she started in the direction of the house.

  • Allen yelled as Dean pulled him out, grunting from the pain of the thorns scratching and tearing his skin, making him bleed.

, "it. . It was s good idea at the time, Mr. Detetctive sir. " Kyle said quickly once Dean had finished telling them to get out, swallowing as he glanced between the male and female. He seemed desperate to justify himself. . "I mean. Alot of people do it. . . Renovate it back into shape. Kyle could tell they saw them as ridiculous right now with what they decided to camouflage with, it seemed to be the wrong choice now. He flinched to the sarcasm words of the detective and shifted on his feet. He wasn't sure really on what to say. "But I didn't hear about a curefew. And we thought this house was ok to check out. It didn't seem to be used or anything. And I thought this was Public property if it's abandoned. ' he suddnely said, defending his statement

Meanwhile Allen was more concerned on why there was six or seven people out here to investisgte a simple house. Surely it didn't take that many. He furrowed his eyebrows then looked to Dean, being quiet as Kyle psoke. He reached over and elbowed his ribs to make him shut up talking. "Right um. . Only problem is, it took us all night to get here from town. . So like. . It's gonna take a while. So we should head on like you said. . Detective. . What was your name? " he seemed to be pressing for his name, looking to both Alea and Dean. Alea spoke up. "Doesn't matter of our names. It matters your safe, and right now, standing here like s bunch of fools, you're not safe. How far in to town are you? "

"At the apartments. . . " Kyle replied.

Alea went to speak before pausing as she looked over her shoulder to see Alexis stride up to them.

"Seriously though. Um. Could I have your two names. . It'd help with a story I'm writing on some spies. "Allen piped in, more so talking to Dean now. He was eyeing the man, trying to decipher his features and such. "You seem like you'd be the perfect character in the story. Sarcastic. Stern. . " he mumbled, mostly to hismelf. He was a bit weird that was for sure. Allen stepped closer to Dean, like he was trying to study him.

  • Dean pulled away from the young man once he was free from the bushes, muttering something under his breath as he crossed his arms against his chest as his stern gaze landed on the other man, listening to him talk. He huffed and fought the urge to roll his eyes. "Even if it was public property, I'm sure people would want you to stay the hell away from it. Especially with a murderer runnin' around." Dean responded sharply as he watched Kyle. These kids reminded him too much of those Ghostfacers guys from a few years back. The hunter could feel the other kid's eyes on him, causing him to clench his jaw as he looked right back at him. His eyes narrowed a bit as he listened to Allen talk, brows furrowed when the man began to ask for names. Dean glanced at Alea for a moment when she spoke, giving a small nod of his head in agreement. They really needed these kids out of here damn it! Dean focused back on Allen again when the man had spoke, tensing a little bit under his stare. Dean wasn't appreciating this at all. He listened to the kid ramble to himself, brows furrowing more and more as the kid continued to eye him, almost seeming like he was studying him. Dean suddenly moved, grabbing the younger man by the collar of his jacket and getting right in his face. He knew this could be a bad idea but at this point, he didn't really care all that much. Paul could be slicing up another victim for all they knew and with these two goons here, it'd take longer to get rid of the threat. "Listen, man. Our names don't matter. What does though, is you and your buddy hightailing it outta here and not looking back. We're busy and we don't need guys like you getting in the way." Dean spoke calmly, staring the man down. His grip wasn't tight, making it easy for the other man to pull away if he wanted. "You understand?"

Aiden smiled and his bashfulness seemed to fade as he listened to Chara and Alexis, giving them both a grateful look. He watched as Alexis headed over to Dean and Alea. His brows furrowed as he watched the boys interact with the two hunters. He wondered how they would manage to get the two kids out of here. Aiden's gaze went towards the house after a moment, looking it over with a frown.

  • Sam nodded for them to get moving, "Let's go. The sooner we get started that faster Paul goes bye bye." He began walking to the back of the house, Chara following close behind tugging Aiden along by the rope.

Alexis was only a few feet away when Dean grabbed the boy up. Her eyes widened in surprise and she ran the rest of the way to them, "Hey! D, chill!" She said, stepping beside him and placing her hand on his shoulder, "Put the young man down, and cool the temper." She said slowly, urging him to listen, "The others are going ahead to... Start." She eyed the two boys, unsure of how much she should say. Hence calling Dean 'D'. "Now, what's going on here?" Her gaze went to Alea for an explanation, since she had been here before any of them.

  • Alea's attention snapped back to Dean as he picked up the boy. Her brown eyes went wide and she stepped in with Alexis to stop him. She grabbed the boy and tugged him away, setting him to the side. "No need to get physical here, Detective. . Even though they were bein a bit of pushy smartasses. "Look, We can get you to a bus stop or something and write this off as nothing happening, udnerstood? Usually we report things like these, but we'll let you nosey kids go. . As long as you agree to not step foot here again. Ever. We'll find out if you do, we got eyes." She told them both in a hard voice, staring at them with cold eyes. Alea, without looking to her, began to explain their situation again. "These two were caught trying to sneak in to the house. The tall one here,..." Kyle interupted her with a wary look to Alexis. "Kyle. . My name is Kyle..."

Alea bit her tongue to say some snarky comment, but continued in an agitated voie. " ... mentioned Fed and Men in Black. Conspiracy theorist. The little one here keeps pressing his luck with questions." Alea shortned it up quite a bit. " They possibly followed us or something. They heard us pull up and came from the Bushes. " Alea finished and turned to face Alexis and Dean. "

    ~

Allen hadn't noticed the agitation and tension of Dean's body langauge. So when he snapped forward and grabbed him, he was a bit surprised. His grey eyes widened, and thick curly hair bounced. He was a light-skinned boy, maybe twenty three or nineteen. It was really hard to tell. He shoved away only to be grabbed by Alea and pulled to the side. Allen grumbled lightly to himself and wiped at his clothes like he had been touched by an infected person of sorts. "We don't have bus stops, not in this neighborhood atleast. . But ok, we'll leave. That promise can't be kept though. "

    ~

Alea's head snapped back to him and she looked highly pisssed now to his smart alec response, snapping at him. "I won't hesitate to shoot your ass, you little punk. " Even though she looked pissed, she wasn't she was trying to get the off their backs now.

Alea went back to Alexis and moved to whisper in her ear. "Can't you knock'em out or something?"

  • (im gonna be on mobile for a bit, so I apologize if anything seems weird c; )

Aiden gave a slight nod of his head when he heard half of what Sam was saying, his attention still on the other three and the two boys. His attention instantly went to Chara when he felt a tug from the rope, moving to quickly following after the two hunters. "So uh... The grave's marked right? Or will we need to like, dig up the whole yard?"

Dean stared at Allen before glancing over his shoulder when he heard Alexis call out to him. He seemed to slightly relax under Alexis' touch, glancing back at Allen when he began to shove at him. The kid was rather lucky when Alea had pulled him away. Dean crossed his arms against chest and stared at the two men as Alea talked to Alexis, his gaze mostly sticking on the shorter of the two. He glared at Allen when he spoke up, opening his mouth to say something but Alea beat him to it. A small smirk appeared on his lips at what she said. Dean glanced at the women when Alea whispered something to Alexis, wondering what they were planning. His gaze landed back on the two boys though, keeping a close eye on them.

  • ((It's all good, I'm usually on mobile lol rarely ever on the computer!))

"Yeah," Chara piped up at Aiden's question, "Did you get like a map or something of where he was buried or what? There are probably a ton of unmarked graves everywhere. Did his wife think to mark his?"

"Well... In a way." Sam replied hesitantly, "The article said she planted a willow tree right next to his grave in hopes it would bring his spirit some kind of peace his life didn't have. She buried him close so that she could visit him often, about a yard away."

"A tree? Do you see this place? There are lots of trees! What if there's more than one willow tree?" Chara argued as they walked.

Sam shrugged, "I'm sure you can pull some kind of... Stunt." he hesitated, unsure if Chara wanted Aiden to know she used magic.

Alexis thought for a moment on Alea's question. It wasn't exactly uncommon for kids to go snooping where they didn't belong, Chara and her had run into several on their hunts. And they had taken care of all of them, in their own way. She felt inside of herself, testing her magic to see if she might have enough to deal with the two now. She sighed, shaking her head. She glanced at Alea, "I used up a lot of my magic earlier. I could try it, but I would be drained and there's no guarantee both boys would be taken care of completely. It'd be better if Chara did it. She should have enough power in her to make sure they'll never remember a thing about tonight."

  • (dang lol, I always feel like I mess up a lot of words and rush a lot when on mobile, no clue why though cx )

Aiden continued to follow the half-siblings, listening to Chara's reply. His eyes flickered over onto Sam when the man answered the both of their questions, Aiden's brows raising a little bit as he thought about the tree and why the wife had planted it. "That's nice of her." Aiden said softly as they continued to walk, gazing at Chara when she argued with Sam. The man's brows furrowed at Sam's words, wondering what he meant by that.

Dean continued to keep an eye on the two young men. He was trying to listen to Alexis' and Alea's conversation, brows furrowing when he caught half of the conversation. He then moved a little closer to them so he could get a word in, glancing at both females before his gaze landed on Alexis. "Don't bother wasting anything on those two. It's not worth it." Dean spoke up, mostly speaking to Alexis. The woman did use a lot of her magic today and Dean was pretty sure it took a lot out of her. "At this point, I'm ready to just handcuff them to something until we're done here." Dean added after a moment of silence as he glanced at Alea.

  • Chara gave a small smile at Aiden's comment, "Suppose it was."

Once at the back of the house, Sam looked out, scanning the area before pointing in the distance, "There's a willow. Let's try it." Not waiting Found a reply, he headed in it's direction. Making a noise of disagreement, Chara followed anyways.

Alexis pursed her lips, unsure at the moment. Paul's body was buried here somewhere, meaning his ghost could show up at any moment. She knew Sam, Chara, and Aiden had already set out to get started, but it was still dangerous until they were sure burning his bones would work. After all, there was still a chance he was attached to something else. It was the trickiest thing about ghosts that she found rather tedious. "We should at least get them away from here." She suggested, "Two of us should stay with them, the other can go help the rest. Once it's all said and done, we can decide what course of action to take next. Agreed?"
