I'm still getting used to the new boards, so I don't know if this is the proper board to place this question in, and please forgive me if I did so wrongly.
It's a question I'd like to address to the Yu-Gi-Oh! fans.
I was digging around through some old cards and I found one called "Botanical Lio". I don't know if this is a purpose misspelling of lion as I have never seen this card before.
I'm sure it's a fake, but it's less obvious than other fakes I've pulled out before (Mausoleum of the Emperor wrongly titled "Tomb of the Dead Emperor" with some kind of foil over it, and a spell card which I don't know the real title of, but wrong grammar and incorrect font formatting gave it away).
The font on this card is wrong, and the swirls on the back is more yellow than most cards, but I don't know if this is because it's an old card that's been sitting round for a while or not. I also hesitate to get rid of it instantly as it has the little holofoil square in the corner, and everything else looks to be about alright. Apart from the strange font, the grammar seems to also be about right.
Unfortunately, I don't have too much time to go search it on google right now, but some feedback on the boards on how to spot fake YGO cards would be great.
Thanks!
