  • Casper peered out of the trainees' den, surveying the camp on the other side. All the dogs were gathered around the leader. Despite all their annoyed looks, Casper had quite the opposite. He loved when gatherings were called as he was now allowed to attend. He had only been made a trainiee a few sunrises ago and he hadn't been allowed to but now he was required to join the meetings and it made him feel more important. As a pup, he wanted to help but no one would let him. They would always say, "come back when you're older." It always irritated Casper but now the young Pyrenees was just like the rest of the dogs, eager to make his pack proud.

  • Pixis had seated herself slightly away from the group of dogs she called her pack, yet in a respectful distance from Aztec, the slender she-dog casted her gaze to him as he began to speak "Many of you are rightfully annoyed by my abuse of gathering time. Whether it be late at night, or just the crack of dawn, I had been treating this priviledge wrongly, and for that I apologize. My hope is that this will be the last gathering we have for a while." She felt a soft chuckle arise in her throat as some heads began bobbing with agreement around her, yet she stifled it and continued to listen "but my initial concern this morning is of territorial business. There have been reports of wolf sightings just east of where we stand at this very moment." Although Pixis wasn't a patrol dog, she found herself interested in their job, protecting the border of the territory at all cost, she approved it deeply. Her chocolate orbs shifted to Lucid, his posture changed and she wondered if what Aztec had said had given him a sense of... Whatever the word Pixis was trying to think of, her left ear twitched before the Doberman turned her attention back to Aztec.
